Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Training Period?

"What Training Period?" states Moonshine again, keeping the glass shard pointed at the Level 200.

"T-Training Period! The period where, while your class is a Warrior, you sign up at the local guild(not an actual player-built guild) and apply for training from the Fighting Instructor NPC. You've never heard of this?" answered 200, slightly surprised.

Moonshine put his weapon down. "Mm… Correct; I've never talked to the Fighting Instructor. I figured that it wasn't useful to talk to him, and I guessed that he only gave tips."

"But don't you remember what he said when you first arrived at the town? 'If your EVER need help while you're here, I can help you with a little push,'" quoted the 2nd Advancement Martial Artist, in the voice of an old man.

Moonshine recalled back to the starter conversation. "Mm.. Yes, you are right. But I also remember him rubbing his fingers, as if he were asking for money from the favor," stated Moon in a matter-of-fact tone.

"You don't really expect him to charge THAT much from a beginner, do you? I mean, you should only come here by Level 90, in the first place, and by then you should have enough money stored up right? No need to be stingy," replied the Martial Artist, starting to lose his fear of the glass shard.

"Haaaaaaah… Look I'm not being stingy, and frankly, it doesn't really matter much to me in the first place. I'm not playing this GAME to become rich or strong; I play it to release my stress. Nothing more, nothing less," said Moonshine, exasperated.

"Yeeeeah, but you could still tryyyy. You know there aren't many people in the world that still treat this world as a game, right?" spoke Two Double 0, ready to start preaching.

'Yeah, I'm done with this.' Moon went ahead and got up to reach for some gold in his inventory and proceeded to slam it down. He looked at the bartender. "This is for the meal and the cup. Once again: sorry." He then turns to look at Zero Two. "I'm leaving. Hope you enjoyed your meal," he said in a passive-aggressive tone, and proceeded to leave the bar.

"_____"

"… … …Head-strong, isn't he?" said Godspeed after a moment, asking the bartender, who then replied with a nod.

"How ridiculous," murmured Moonshine after walking about a block in the opposite direction of the bar. 'If I feel like getting stronger, than I will get stronger, MY WAY,' he thought, stubbornly.

'I'm going to go take a bath,' he thought finally, choosing to relieve his stress in another way. But right before he logged out, he got a message from the system.

[The player 'Godspeed' has requested to be your friend.]

"Who is this…" he murmured before he came to a realization. "Level 200…"

'To be honest, I kind of want to reject this… but if I accept it, then that would be my first friend on the game… but do I really want this man to be my first friend? If I do, then he might find out and make fun of me…but what if' and he went on and on about his decision for a couple of minutes until the system gave him another message.

[The player 'Godspeed' has requested to be your friend.]

'How impatient,' thought the slowpoke Moonshine. 'You know what: Whatever.' He proceeded to accept the friend request.

[You have accepted the other person's friend request.]

He then proceeded to bring up the Godspeed's info.

[Bringing up the updated list of friends.]

[Name: Godspeed

Level: 232

Guild: N/A

Class: XXX]

'Tch. Still being secretive, eh?'

[Godspeed has sent you a whisper.]

Cautious, yet slightly excited, Moonshine opened the new system.

- Meet me at the Local Guild in 24 hours. As an apology for how I spoke earlier, I've chosen to help you get stronger(It's the only way I know how). I also just have nothing else to do. ;)

'What an apology… Well, at least he tried.' He began to cool down.

[You are sending a whisper.]

- And what is it that you're going to do to help me, exactly?

'And, send.'

[The other person has blocked all whispers.]

"SONUVA-----!!!!" yelled out Moonshine before interrupting himself from his own cursing.

"IIIIITCH!!!!!!" was the first sound that came out of the capsule. And the place where that capsule lived? Well…

In a studio apartment smack dab in the middle of Thunder Bay, Ontario(one of the provinces of Canada), lived a cheap capsule. This capsule lived with its owner in a 1-room-1-bathroom apartment. With basic makeup kits, some razors, and hair products lining up the bathroom, and dirty laundry full of overwear(outer-clothing), panties, and push-up bras("From natural B-cups to C-cups!™") laying on the ground of the bedroom. Frankly, the capsule thought that the place it lived in was a bit disgusting. And its owner?

Well, she was a bit rude for a Canadian(JK!). She worked for an insurance company some miles away, and without a car to drive, she had to ride the bus. "Working for an insurance company is never easy!" was one of the things the capsule's owner always said. No wonder it made her rude. And messy.

Everyday, she would go out and drink until tipsy, just so she could go to sleep faster. On the weekend, she would try cleaning her seemingly-permanently messy room, although she barely made any progress. If not that, then she might and go visit her parents. At least she still has her Canadian manners(joke).

That is, until she got wind of Satisfy. It has been more than a year since Satisfy's release, but she didn't really have much interest in it, until one of her customers struck up a conversation.

While the procedures were being done, the granny started talking about how she was using the game to unwind as a fisher. Hearing that, she chose to give the game a chance, and rented a capsule in her apartment. But who is she?

In Satisfy, she is known as the Level 120 warrior Moonshine. She chose the name because it sounded whimsical and it seemed to fill the fantasy criteria.

But in real life? She is a 22-years-old girl known as Sophia Campbell. With ink-like--- almost black--- hair, soft purple eyes eyes, a stature of 173 cm(5' 8"), a crooked smile, and a small bust, she was a woman on a mission.
