Chapter 167 - Chapter 166 Eight watching

"Avalon you had to have a wild hair didn't you,"

Ally mumbled scanning over the scars over Avalon's shoulders and the back of her arms, it was out of place. Lines in purposeful places meant to grab her, to ensnare her enough where if it had, it would kill her. Ally touched a dampened swab on it. Avalon hissed under her breath the rush of the sting from the alcohol seeping into her wounds. Avalon glanced back at her her eyes flashing a familiar silver but a coating of iridescent,

"Because sometimes you have to confront what you are dealing with," Avalon answered

"You face him then his capos, and couldn't have watched from a distance, like you promised to Sandel," Ally expressed,

Avalon felt the slight heat from Sandel wrapping around her, She peered at the simmering fire that curled around her wounds, helping Ally heal her wounds carefully,

"Nethier of you are in the wrong, Avalon did agree to not interact unless something has happened in which they knew we were there. Formoir wouldn't have let us go without some sort of interaction, and neither would his host," Sandel agrees

Ally finished wrapping her left arm glancing at Sandel touching the sentient flame, she felt like a warm hand clasping onto hers, gilding but not forceful. Ally let go sitting back feeling the van move from the front seat, She tilted her head seeing Coille getting in the passenger eat eating what seemed like a green apple, he chomped into it turning his head back to them, chewing with his mouth opened he asked,

"Is she ok?"

Ally stared at him bewildered, watching him eat the apple like an animal, while staring at them with doe like intensity, Ally let out an unbelievable scoff turning back to Avalon,

"She is fine other than some deep cuts on her back, she's fine and why are you chewing with your mouth open… never mind how was scouting?" Ally prods

Coille tilted his head to the side, like a dog hearing an amusing sound. Ally stared at him frustrated when he spoke,

"I found that his female has healed his wounds tending to him while his male companion called some one to get a car,"

"So there's recouping great, Avalon.." Ally asserts

Avalon peered at her a questionably hum, her wounds slowly being healed by Sandel Ally. Ally's gaze flickered to it, cleaning the big cut on her back, brushing her finger over one of Avalon's tattoos, it shined from the touch and Ally felt a slight burn from just the touch. She flinched now more carful cleaning her wound,

"Did you see the oath anywhere on him?" Ally asked

"I did in the left side of his jacket he held it close until I stabbed him in the chest. Other than that all me and Sandel felt it when we were fighting him,"

Avalon explained that when she felt the sting again she held onto her pants, stopping a hiss from escaping her lips, she peered at Coille seeing him staring at them with soft, oblivious gaze she chuckled,

"Coille, I think you have some apples on your face…where did you even get that?"

"In a tree,"

Avalon stared blankly at him for a moment while that was occurring Ally and Sandel healed Avalon. Sandel finished healing the wounds on Avalon's back right when Alley finished wrapping it, Sandel touched Alley curling around her finger, Ally stared at the flame confused,

"Start to drive back, we need to leave before they can," Sandel uttered

Alley moved her hand back, staring at Sandel hesitantly, then getting up startling Avalon and Coille, they observed Ally hopping into the front seat starting the engine. She peered at Avalon, her gaze squinted.

"Avalon, do you sense where he could be?" Ally queries

Avalon leaned back, her head tilted back, she closed her eyes, feeling Sandel curled around her, the flames flickering around her face, and she heard Sandel whisper next to her ear,

"There are still there but I believe that Don found a way home for them,"

Avalon saw Bal having his jacket placed on him by Caille, she appeared to be placing her frost over his burns, his gaze flickered in her fiery vision, staring back at her with agrin she could barely see, a car pulled up to him and Don inside opened it for him, Bal ducked into it when Formoir appeared in her vision, eight eyes gleaming mischievously into theres, Sandel gasped softly her flames grew in the van,

"It won't be long before they are at this road way Avalon," Sandel finished

Avalon opened her eyes looking at Ally, her voice grim with a chill coming from her body,

"They are on their way here, pump it,"

When Avalon told her, Ally smirked, pressing the accelerator and laughing. The van lurched, and Avalon flinched, grabbing onto her seat and her nails digging into the leather, Coille was stretched out but still ate his apple, watching the world go by, Ally turned onto the next road her gaze glanced at Avalon see her lean on her knees Sandel little fire sitting on her shoulders. Feeling the phantom pain from her back and chest, she didn't wine she only held it, her hand lightly touching her chest, Sandel flowed down her arm, resting in her hand,

"Avalon, the pain you have it from before, other times fighting it builds over time, hasn't it?" Sandel asked her healing flame curling around her sternum, Avalon stared at her with pain and grim smile on her lips, worried the angel.

"They know now what happened don't they?" Avalon asked

"What do you mean about the other angels?"

"They and their host, yes, we felt when the oath was finished, all connected all made whole, they felt it didn't they?"

Sandel froze for a second when her flames covered Avalon's upper half. She stared at Sandel softened slightly, hearing the distress from the angel's voice,

"They have all at once, feeling it all within their own soul and their angels, they probably have grown in power from it, these oaths are fickle things, they are able to straighten the bounds of the participants but also make it a trap from them."

Sandel's whisper went around the van even through the engine they heard her. Ally could only faint glimpse at them while Coille moved in the seat to where it looked like it would hurt. He touched Sandel his hand grasping at her,

"That means we wait right?" Coille wondered

Avalon peered at him with a stiff nod feeling the pain rack her body, her voice a pain ridden but blunt.

"We wait see what they will do next,"

"The waiting game its always that fucking game," Ally seethed turning into the next lane,

The car jolted from the speed increase as the car went quiet only for Sandel's flames to crackle, Ally saw from the mirror a sleek car followed far behind them, the sick twist in her gut got worse catching the eight colored eyes coming from that car. Ally tightened her hold on the wheel her eyes glanced at Avalon,

"Does he have a plan?"

"They will leave us alone he's already in dire condition," Sandel answered

"Then you think he will just leave us alone?"

Ally asked, hearing the car rush to them not to their side, she kept her eyes on the road only giving them one glance, Coille observed the car with caution, dangerous caution. Avalon lifts her head her gaze laid on Ally and Coille,

"He won't even have his capos beside him. He knows now that I'm not what he thought."

They witnessed the car rolling beside them the windows blacked out, but there bright light from inside the car its staring at Avalon, Avalo met its gaze catching the subtle squint and a shadow if a faint grin, a light glow from a cigar, when it went past them the gleaming light followed them until the passed the road heading onto the road that lead to the left side of the city, Ally drove slower her eye tracking the car with her hand tightening on the wheel,

"We're heading to shepherd and you are telling them what you dealt with. And the oath, i think Sandel will speak about it, I trust her on it more than you, Avalon,"

Avalon huffed mumbling under her breath about being the person thrown under Salvatore's bus. Coille's eyes got brighter, and he gawked at Avalon, he threw the apple at Sandel's fire. It burned on impact but it made Avalon and Sandel lift their stare to him, Sandel looked at him, bewildered.

"Did you throw your apple at me?" Sandel wonder

Coille nods slightly, his eyes fixated on Avalon. They went dark once more his lips a frown as he asked,

"He knew you were there and sent a message, didn't the spider host?"

Avalon's eyes glowed a rush of iridescence covered her silver hues, nodding her head, she tore her gaze away, setting on the road,

"He did,"

"What was it then, don't come after me?" Ally interrupted and drove into the city entrance. Avalon glanced at them, the words that Bal. Maybe even Formoir whispered into there being into there soul shaked them,

"Now, I'm now more intrigued by you, watching you will be so enticing next time I won't be fooled again," Avalon recalled

Coille looked down, hearing it faintly. He held onto the chair watching her curiously, Ally stared at her from the mirror wary, she turned into city square, as the lights from the building blown by Avalon had Sandel on her chest a constant warmth but also a heavy weight.
