"I think next time I'm going to scout for us or this won't work." I said annoyed at our current situation.
"look I just thought it would be easier for me because I know the area better than you." Allan said as he opened the garbage bin.
"now are you getting in it or not." he jump in first.
"Fuck it." I said as I jumped in after him.
"Look we just have to crawl through this tunnel then we will reach the basement and from the basement which I doubt anyone will be in, we just sneak up to my apartment then bam we grab my stuff and leave." he sounded ridiculous as he said that with garbage that close to his head.
"I'll go through the hole first because I don't trust your guess that no one will be in the basement." I crawled through first.
"Fine but I won't be wrong." he followed confidently.
"There's like ten people in the basement and they all have weapons and four of them have guns." somehow I wasn't surprised at all.
"How do you know, maybe it's just my neighbors." he looked ar me surprised.
"If I concentrate hard enough I can feel the different animo everything gives off." I was peeking through a hole in the painting hiding us.
"Wow but why didn't you use it earlier to scout outside." he said bewildered.
"That because I need to really concentrate to do it and my range isn't that great yet cuz I learned it a few months ago and take this gun. I'm putting a cloak around it to eliminate the noise released from the gun so we have to worry about it to much" I tossed it at him.
"Small problem I don't know how to shoot a gun and also I have about as much experience fighting as a baby and wait what the fuck is your ability I though you only had a storage." he tryed smiling to make it seem better.
"Just point at someone and pull the trigger, the bullets they fire have basically no kick to it and I will do all the fighting so stay back and use it only to protect yourself. I don't have enough time to explain it all right now so I will tell you if we get another chance." it wasn't to hard to sneak out the hole in the wall because the five men were more interested in the mini fridge they had found with what looked like beers in it.
His friend turned around at the wrong time because I tossed a knife at his head and it hit him between his eyes, the three guys next to him turned around and immediately rushed towards me.
"Someone run upstairs." the middle man said just before I ran my katana through his chest.
The guys next to him had a katana as well and immediately went to slash me but I rolled out of the way quickly and they ended up finishing of the guy I had stabbed already.
I threw a knife at the left ones neck and rushed the right one with the dagger I just wiped out of my shadow, he swung his blade at me but I parried with mine.
I whipped out one of my throwing knives and stabbed him in his abdomen and finished him with the dagger.
Not even seconds later the biggest one of them all quickly went for a over slash at me but I pulled out my blades and rolled out of the way quickly to grab my katana sitting in the chest of the first one I stabbed the remaining four men approached me with the big one in the front.
"Look I think we can still talk this out like civil men." I said in a provocative voice.
The large one clearly didn't like my comment because he was now jumping at me to slice me in half, but his anger made him swing wildly and it only took one slash to finish him off.
The last three had guns but hesitated because of how quick the big one died, which made it all the easier to decapitate them with quick swings.
"Is their anyway upstairs other than the stairs." I said picking up all my throwing knives and putting my weapons back into my shadow.
"Ya theirs a elevator shaft here and wow you can really fight where did you learn all of that." he look at me astounded by the display I put on just now.
"My mom thought me everything I know about fighting but we can talk about that later first let's get your drives and make sure they don't steal your shit and is this the elevator it seems so old." I climb through the shaft.
"Ya its design is really old but it still works mostly and do you have a lot of upper body strength because I don't have enough to lift myself for very long and I'm on the fourth floor." he said with a smile.
"Fine I will carry you but you'll have to hug yourself around me." I grabbed hold of the elevator cable.
"Great but watch out for the elevator theirs only five floors so we have to get real close." he said jumping on my back
He was surprisingly light but I was focusing my animo on making my hands to cling better too the cables.
I got two levels before the elevator started to move a little up.
"Hey lucky us it will take us up by its self grab it." he seemed like he was enjoying him self.
"I think you mean lucky for me." I grab ahold of a thick cable under the elevator.
"Hey its pretty hard to hold on too you."
The elevator passed the fourth floor so i jumped off and used my shadow to grab hold of something then punched through the elevator and ripped it open.
My feelings of accomplishments didn't last long because three more guys were waiting for the elevator.
"Hey I heard you were going down." I smiled at them.
They wiped out swords and swung towards my head but I dodged by jumping back.
I used the wall and sprang towards one of them and tackled him down then whipped out a knife and stabbed him through the heart and jump up quickly to take a fighting stance.
They immediately jumped to swing for my head but I was swiftly dodging their swings.
I grabbed my twin sais and parried their blades, then kicked the left one in the stomach and head then fought the right one while the other regained himself.
"Is their any chance you could be more careful, not to sound ungrateful for you carrying me up the elevator but it's been a very rough ride." Allan was looking drained from all the activities his been through.
"Why are you even still on my back, get off so I can finish these guys this one is seem to know what he's doing."
With less worry to protect allan I took the attack, but he wasn't letting up his defense.
After a second of struggle the other one got up to plunge at me but quickly backed up and tripped his leg and finished him by pushing the back of his head into a wall crushing his skull.
The other guy quickly took this as a chance to slash my shoulder.
The wound wasn't deep but I was still bleeding so I back up to try to lure him into swinging wide so I could get a good hit on him but he wasn't letting up with his quick and relentless short swings. but I seems he wasn't paying attention because a door a opened and his katana went straight thought it into the wall which I used as a opening to stab him through the chest.
A woman scream could be heard from behind the door but I didn't see any blood from behind it so me and Allan hurried to his room and I only felt two in the room.
"Okay two inside one of them is sitting next to what i think is your computer and the other is pacing the room so hand me the gun so I can finish him quick."
"Ok but don't shoot my stuff." he handed me the gun.
I kicked down the door and shoot the guy walking in his leg and put the gun to the back of the head of the guy at the computer.
"Now allan do your shit and I have a question for you." I hit the guy it the chair over the head and put the gun to the guy on the floors head.
"Who is the strongest person with you and where are they." I took off the shadow clock to cock the gun to intimidate him.
But It was meaningless because he spoke Japanese.
"Who did you get yourself involved with."
"Oh the yakuza they have been striving a lot lately and basically control half of Japan nowadays but they want to take over the oceans lulls gang to establish a stronger hold across the world but the Oceans lull is trying to do the same thing so they at odds with each other. they want me to hack into some of their servers so they can steal business opportunities from them to get more partners here and potentially other things from them. they wanted me because I've accidentally hacked them once before and they found out if it wasn't them then it would have been Kadeem who probably would have killed or hired me." he looked casual as he finished putting all his data in his small hard drive.
"Now help me destroy all of this stuff and put this laptop in your storage." he threw the laptop at me.
I shot the guy on the floor than unloaded the rest of the gun into the computer and smashed it with a baseball bat I found in the room.
"Alright jump on my back I'm going to jump to the next building."
He hopped on my back and I approached the window that's when I felt it a wave of animo swept over me that felt like I had just hopped into a live volcano the heat, my skin was crawling I felt like I was about to melt into a puddle with nothing to be left of me. I look at my arms but I was intact and when I looked at allan he had passed out from the heat.
I grabbed him and jumped out the window to the next building wall and climbed as fast as I could, I needed to get out of their as fast as possible or I was dead.
I made it to the top of the build and was about to jump to the next one when something grabbed my left arm and my arm had actually started to burn from this I felt it bubbling my skin trying to turn me into ash.
I immediately flooded my arm with animo so it wouldn't melt off and looked the man in his face.
He cooled the heat down a little bit and let go of my arm. I jumped back and turned around to look him in the face, he was a tall man with a gaze that felt like it could literally melt you and he looked like the incarnation of fire, spike hair with red tips, red suit with orange tint even his skin was a orange/bronze color but it felt natural on him.
"Who are and why must you annoy me today of all days I just needed him to hack for me a bit but no he must rebel against me and kill my men, to have stained my honor you must die today." he undid his tie and took of his suit jacket then tossed it to a women who suddenly appeared next to him.
I fell to my ass on the roof i needed to think quick and allan wasn't waking up anytime soon so I was alone and I didn't want to abandon allan.
"Stop looking stupid, do you work for the Oceans lull." he looked hotter somehow not like physically attractive no, he looked like a flame had grown intensely.
A plan popped into my head and it seemed like would work but.....
"I dont work for kadeem and I don't need to be back by someone to take your dumb sorry lookin orange ass." I took out my bottle of vodka I took from the party and threw it at him, than I shot it out of the air and jumped into my shadow to emerge from the side of the building and fall into the dumpster and cloak myself and allan then I texted kadeem.
"Look for the fire." I tryed to stay in the trash for as long as possible but he was setting the street on fire and if I wasn't in my cloak I would be dead.
I jumped out the trash to get kicked in my face hard enough for me to lose conscience for a split second but I recovered quick and regained my stance.
I took off the cloak because it was pointless now he found me and he was pissed.
"You must be strong if you survived the kick I intended to kill you with that, follow me." he walked out the alley way into the street and stop in the middle of the road and turned to look at me.
I look around to consider my opportunities but it wasn't good at all behind me was a wall of flame and his assistant was still standing next to me.
I gave up and walked into the street, I put down Allan and took off my hoodie to put It on him because it was way to hot and he looked like he would catch heat stroke.
I faced him and got in a fighting stance, if I died at least I went fighting.
"Before I burn you what is you name, I am called Hinokami." he took of his shirt which was wet a second ago but seemed dry now and handed it to his assistant to reveal the most amazing dragon tattoo.
Before I could speak on of the men on the side walked up. " sir that's the guy we saw on the news brown skin, black eyes, same hair style and his build is around the same he is a suspect in the village destroyed the other day Michael Onfroy."
Hinokami seemed to get excited because of that statement and more ready to fight.
I stood their ready to fight and just looked him in the eyes and waited for him as the fires engulfing the whole street got taller and more intense, he dissapeared from my eyes I just reacted to his kick flying towards my face and I tryed to block it with my arms but I got sent flying backwards into a wall and my left arm was broken and almost burn.
