Without giving himself any time to discern the situation at hand, Ken sprung into action. However, there was just one slight issue he didn't know what to do.
As Ken neared the thief, his mind went blank, and without thinking, Ken bumped into the thief and fell on his back. The thief being twice the size of Ken turned around and glared at him with a cold stare, only saying a few words.
"Damn kid, you need to watch where you're going, this isn't a playground for you to run wild."
Ken furious after being called a kid (Even though he is one) fired back with a line of his own saying, "Well, I wouldn't have had to do that if you didn't steal that gold from her, just hand it over before things get difficult!"
The man's eyes widened, he was confused to how Ken was able to see him steal and nervously said, "I don't think you know what you're talking about kid, but more importantly did a pipsqueak like you just threaten me??"
The large man let out a burst of nervous laughter after hearing what Ken had to say. Soon the two individuals began to attract some attention from the people around the area. More and more people became interested in what was happening and started to watch, forming a crowd around Ken and the thief.
The thief giving Ken a terrifying look said, "Look kid, I'll give you one last chance to back off since I'm in a good mood today."
Ken thought to himself "He's in a good mood today? Judging by his natural angry face, I don't think anyone would have ever guessed that."
Ken then spoke to the thief with confidence saying, "Well, I should be saying the same to you. You have something that doesn't belong to you so hand it over."
That comment from Ken angered the thief who walked towards him, clenching his fist, getting ready to attack Ken.
"Don't say I didn't warn you, kid."
"Wasn't planning on it."
The thief's slow walk suddenly turned into a fast sprint, it took Ken by surprise, forcing himself to distance himself. Ken jumped back a few steps dodging the blows each time the thief thought he had got him. Ken thought to himself, "Woah, this guy's actually faster than I expected."
With no time wasted the thief caught up to Ken once again, this time Ken wasn't able to jump backwards because of the crowd being in his way. Ken quickly moved his head to the left barely dodging the punch, having the thief's fist brush against his face.
Ken smirked, the thief looked into his shining silver eyes, and he realised that this wasn't some ordinary kid.
"Since we've come this far, I guess I'll show you something special."
After saying that in a split second Ken placed his hand on the thief's chest and with no time to spare came out a burst of magic sending him flying back with ease. Everyone was left speechless, not knowing what to expect next.
"Don't you think it's about time you give up? Since that's only the least I can do with my power, I won't hold back next time."
While Ken walked towards the thief to take back the stolen goods, a large beam shot down from the sky between the two fighters. Blinded by the bright light in front of them, no one could see what was happening they looked away covering their eyes from the light.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?"
