Concubine Rou is the real sister of Tang Zhishi's mother concubine. Back then, when Tang Zhishi's mother concubine gave birth to Tang Zhishi, she was plotted against and died with hatred after exhausting herself giving birth. Although the concubine and her family who orchestrated this suffered severe punishment, the beauty was gone, and Tang Zhishi was left without a mother concubine. Tang Zhishi's maternal grandfather pleaded with the Emperor for mercy for Tang Zhishi, allowing the sister of Tang Zhishi's mother concubine to enter the palace to take care of the newly born Tang Zhishi.
Of course, everyone understands what happened next; in the process of caring, Concubine Rou became the Emperor's concubine. It was an unspoken fact.
