"What do you know? I'm practicing martial arts to become stronger and protect you, you silly boy." Lady Liu glared at Liu Yujin, snapped at him, and then continued practicing her swordplay.
Protect herself? Can those fancy moves really protect anyone? Well, as long as she's happy.
Liu Yujin greeted his mother and aunt before heading out. No classes today, he planned to take a walk and check the fields. The weather has been favorable this year, the harvest should be good.
Dressed simply and comfortably, Liu Yujin strolled to the fields. Many tenant farmers greeted Liu Yujin as they saw him.
Liu Yujin smiled and nodded to everyone, occasionally stopping to chat a bit.
A couple of tenants were resting by the field ridge. Seeing Liu Yujin, they waved, asking if he'd like some water. They usually brought a clay pot and a few bowls, resting and chatting by the ridge to drink when thirsty.
