"Wu Wang's right. There's no point in staying out here longer than we need to. It's unnecessary risk," Shi Fa said.
"I have my own reason for wanting to continue cleaning up these Void Specters," Yuan said. "But we can head back for now."
"A reason to hunt Void Specters, huh? That's the first time I've heard such a thing," Sergeant Quang remarked. "Everyone I know considers this mission a punishment because of its nature."
"Then let's head back now. I want to wash myself as soon as possible," said Sergeant Bing.
They immediately started making their way back to the city.
As they traveled, Yuan asked, "How often do soldiers come out here to clean? And how are they picked?"
"Soldiers have to come out every other week for cleanup," Shi Fa replied. "As for who gets picked, there's a rotation, and it just happened to be our turn this week."
"In that case, when will it be our turn again?"
"We usually do this twice a year, so you can expect our next cleanup in half a year."
