After receiving his weapon, Yuan returned to his living quarters.
"Are you not even going to try it out before bringing it with you on the mission?" Sergeant Bing questioned him.
"No need," he said.
"Is that so…"
"Then we'll see you in two days. If you need to go anywhere, you know where to find us."
Sergeant Bing and Sergeant Quang left shortly after, returning to their own living quarters that were only a few steps away from Yuan's residence.
Yuan remained at home the entire time, and in the blink of an eye, it was time for the mission.
At the eastern gates, four soldiers were standing around, seemingly waiting for someone.
"What are we waiting for?"
"I just learned of this last night, but we'll have an extra for this mission." The Squad Leader explained.
"Really? Who?"
"I wasn't given any details except that it's some Corporal."
"Huh? A Corporal? For cleanup duty? It must be punishment."
