"You know that you will need a new cradle made too. We got rid of the one Walker used because we didn't think we would want another child. Then we built another one. And we threw that one away because the neighbors needed it and they wouldn't take a gift but they would take something they thought we were throwing away."
Walker's mother had been ranting as she moved about the mansion kitchen.
She had taken the next couple of days from her restaurant because she had trained plenty of people to make the recipes she prided herself on. She also knew that they were more than capable of keeping her business running.
Even more so, she focused on creating new recipes now, that was her heart and soul when it came to food and she was intensely proud that she was able to do so now.
However, she didn't feel like she could just walk away after Walker had brought Alice with him to speak about the fact that she would be a grandmother!!!
