Tessa Caldwell followed Sylvia Coleman all the way, seeing her car stop in front of a coffee shop in the North District.
After getting out of the car, she made a call. While she was on the phone, another car stopped in front of the coffee shop, and she hung up to greet it.
The car door opened, and a slender figure stepped out. Due to the distance and the back facing her, Tessa could only vaguely make out a blurred outline. It was a woman, and somewhat familiar.
In the past, she had found it strange why an unfamiliar Sylvia Coleman would appear at the wedding, and why she had the wedding photos. Now, the familiar back made her almost certain it was related to this woman.
But despite the familiarity, she couldn't remember who this person was.
Tessa watched the two enter the coffee shop. She took a thin black jacket from her bag and put it on, then donned a pair of sunglasses and followed them inside.
