A few days passed by and I can't seem to shake off Lucien's image from my mind. His voice, his face, it feels like I've already memorized him.
"Hey Kazuya! You look like you're in deep thought. What are you thinking about?" My little sister asked.
"Hmm? It's nothing." I replied.
"If you say so. Anyways, I'm going to stay at my friend's house tonight. You'll have to eat dinner alone... and also, if you need someone to talk to, I'm always here." She smiled.
I've been living with my sister ever since I moved to New York. At first she didn't like the idea of me going to New York but in the end, she chose to go with me.
She's two years younger than me yet I feel like she's the older one among us. She's quite protective and observant and she's very perceptive.
It's just 4 o'clock and my classes are over. Maybe I should stop by at the library. I'm not much of a fan of reading books but I always find myself at this library whenever I have the time to do so. Looking at the shelves, a book suddenly caught my eye.
"Catcher in The Rye"
The title felt almost nostalgic. For some reason, it feels like I've always been curious about this book. I don't remember adding this in my reading lists nor actually reading it before but there's just something about it that I just can't seem to grasp.
Reading the blurb of the book as I sat down on a table, I just found myself constantly turning the pages of it.
