Lilliana moved blisteringly fast without causing any destruction despite her speed and reached the creature in terrible dread. She cradled its head gently, but her thin claws pierced through the exoskeleton like it was butter, while her eyes gleamed with a whitish hue of a soul.
"Your soul is already mine."
For a suspended moment, the creature's pupils dilated, focusing on the movements inside her eyes.
It saw two writhing souls that were wailing and circling around the inside as if her eyes were a prison.
And what struck deep was the fact that one of these souls was its soul.
Crack—!
Lilliana curled her fingers tighter into the exoskeleton protecting the creature's head, and then pulled it apart violently. It cracked open, revealing the head that was now utterly exposed. Her lips curled into a devious smirk as she kicked away, avoiding a swipe.
She landed a distance away gently.
