"We're almost to my house now." I pointed out.
"Finally." Antonio said.
"Stop," demanded Cindy out of nowhere. "I see him. Your brother. He's talking about you to your father."
"What's he saying," I asked aloud, curious.
"That your father should go out. You've got new friends coming over and he wants to go see his mother's grave." She froze behind me solid like a rock. "I see. Phoenix get us to the forest and don't let us be seen." A command that he followed. He turned his back at an angle to the house and ran faster than I could see. I had to grab his fur a bit. Cindy grabbed my shoulders. Antonio was somewhat flying. He didn't seem to be so happy about wanting to touch Phoenix.
