Ye Siyuan woke up to find it was already dark. The setting sun cast a hazy, beautiful golden glow on her.
Ye Shen swam back from the sea, drying his wet hair with a towel while chugging more than half a bottle of water in one go.
"Sis, you're awake?"
"How did I fall asleep?" Ye Siyuan sat up. She instinctively wanted to video call Si Lisao, then belatedly realized the call had already disconnected.
Ye Shen walked over to her, playfully shook his hair, and said, "Sis, stop looking. I've already turned it off for you. No need to thank me."
Ye Siyuan really wanted to kick Ye Shen away. "Who asked you to turn it off?"
"You don't even sleep peacefully. Do you know how awful your sleeping face is? I was just being nice by turning it off so your perfect image wouldn't shatter in front of your crush. You should be thanking me," Ye Shen said, blatantly lying. He just didn't want Si Lisao to see.
