Over the rest of the year, Alex went through the same three Daos and kept learning them until he got close to fully understanding each one before moving on to the next. Then, once he was certain he had understood all he needed to simply learn the Dao, he stopped changing and followed through with the Dao of Refraction.
Heaven responded to his understanding of the new Dao, and the Worldly Laws appeared up above immediately. Several people outside were interested in the sudden change up above, but such things happened enough times in the Sky God's palace that no one truly gave it much thought at all.
Sunflare, who sat in the same room as Alex, was the only one there who had realized it was Alex who had brought on the Worldly Laws. He was a little taken aback to find that Alex was even doing that at all.
