Kurai and Captain Tyg has recovered from their injuries and after filling their spatial bag with rations to the brim
Kurai and Captain Tyg traveled to the Souteast Area by foot instead of a teleportation array as currently Kurai can't handle the spatial shift that happens when stepping on a teleportation array due to his recently recovered injuries
After three days of traveling by foot, the two arrives at the Southeast area's camp site near the dungeon rift and are met with the Elven General Vyron
"Greetings Captain Tyg and….Kurai Himitsuno" said General Vyron "Welcome to the Southeast Dungeon Rift Camp"
"Before going near the dungeon rift's proximity, you must first be briefed" said General Vyron "You are sent here to investigate the unnatural occurence of the unknown that is being released from the failed dungeon rift"
"These occurrences are, the occurrence of dark red clouds surrounding the entire area, daily appearances of the skeleton guardians that are defending the rift's entrance, and recently, all life around 5 meters of the rift's entrance has been devoided of life, withered" said General Vyron
"Your main objectives here is to investigate and destroy, maybe more nothing less" said General Vyron before giving the captain a yellow green crystal "this is a communication crystal, i take it that both of you has an idea of it's functions from it's name alone"
"How does it work?" asked Kurai
"It needs two crystals to work, one receiver crystal and one sender crystal, you inject your energy into the crystal to create a communication channel so that we can communicate" said General Vyron
("So it's basically a walkie talkie but magic then" said Kurai)
"May i know why we need this?" asked Captain Tyg
"Well after briefing the two of you, i am to go back to the palace to report to our queen" said General Vyron
General Vyron stands up and salutes "For the Elven Kingdom!"
Captain Tyg stands up and also salutes "For the Elven Kingdom"
Suddenly the general dissapears, leaving a strong gush of wind
Kurai and Captain Tyg leaves the camp and looks at failed dungeon rift
"Well Dungeon Rifts are not my specialty so you have the floor on this one Kurai" said Captain Tyg
"Very well then" said Kurai
Kurai walks towards the border that surrounds the 5 meter withered area around the dungeon rift entrance
(" Man this s*** sucks, i only came here so that i can create a base to complete my quest but now i'm here, imprisoned and failed to complete the quest" said Kurai)
Kurai looks closely at the withered area, hoping to search for clues
("Hey system, what do you think is the cause of this withered area?" asked Kurai)
[Accroding to the General's briefing, the ones sent inside the dungeon rift have all been killed, therefore they failed
It's an unwritten rule about Dungeon Rifts that once someone fails to complete one, there is no second chances and in a manner of days, a Dungeon Break will occur
By scanning the withered area, it appears that the particular area is not just withered but also it's life force have been absorbed]
("But for what purpose?" asked Kurai)
Suddenly the entire Southeast Area starts shaking violently
*Ground shakes violently *
("The h***!!!" said Kurai)

"Kurai!!! What's happening?" asked Captain Tyg whose shaking due to the shaking ground
"It's an earthquake!!" said Kurai "Duck, Cover, and Hold"
"There's nothing to cover on a******" shouted the captain before violently falling to the ground face first
The earthquake become more powerful, the ground begins to crack, the nearby elven knights quickly covered their bodies with energy to prevent injuries, and the nearby is quickly destroyed
A minute later, the earthquake stops and the elves quickly gathers and organizes by row, a total of 100 elven knights, and 10 elven mages
"Elven Mages!! use your spells to detect the source of the earthquake!!" shouted Captain Tyg
3 Elven Mages quickly arrives and points their staffs towards the ground "Seismic Detectionx3!!"
A glowing wave comes out of their staffs and enters the ground, the glowing wave spreads through the entire Southeast area underground, revealing dirt and rocks but no sources of the earthquake to be found
"There's nothing captain!" said the elven mages
"What!? Then where is it coming from?" said the captain before looking at Kurai "Kurai!! do you have any idea on what happened?"
("System!! Explain what's happening!!" shouted Kurai)

It appears that the Dungeon Rift's Floor 1-3 has been destroyed and it's energy is being transferred to Floor 4 and 5
The sudden transfer of energy without Floor 4 and Floor 5's Dungeon Core permission, Both floors are overflowing with violent energy
In a 3 minutes, the space around the Floors will shatter, opening a gateway connected to the Dungeon Rift's entrance
In conclusion,In a few minutes, A Dungeon Break will occur]
("Can you detect how many enemies will come out from the dungeon rift?" asked Kurai)

[The entities contained inside dungeon rift floors are random
It could contain a powerful entity, a small trbie of monsters, a large horde of monsters, etc
In conclusion, your dungeon rift exploration with Captain Tyg is considered a lucky one, but in this dungeon rift, Captain Xavier and his men who was assigned to explore this dungeon rift was incredibly unlucky and met with large hordes of enemies]
Kurai blankly looks at the air and takes deep breath before going to Captain Tyg "That earthquake was from the dungeon rift, it's a sign of a dungeon break about to happen, about 2 or 3 minutes before it occurs"
"I suggest you ready your men now, because this is going to be difficult, their should be manageable with their strength, but our enemies have a great advantage in numbers "
"How large is that gap?" asked Captain Tyg
"Hundreds" said Kurai
Captain Tyg nods slowly and grab his communication crystal to call General Vyron

"Why have you called me Captain Tyg?" asked General Vyron
"General, from the words of Kurai Himitsuno and the occurence of a powerful earthquake that happened earlier, a dungeon break will occur in a few minutes…..about 2-3 minutes" said Captain Tyg
"What are their numbers?" asked General Vyron
"From what he told me, we have a huge gap in numbers with the monsters in the advantage for they have hundreds" said Captain Tyg
"….I see....I am sorry to tell you this Captain, but i was ordered by the queen to immediately report to her once something unnatural occurs"
"I will relay your message with utmost importance and haste to Her Majesty, After that i will immediately head back there, If the dungneon break occurs before i get there….Hold the line" said General Vyron

"....For the Elven Kingdom" said Captain Tyg
"....For the Elven Kingdom…." said General Vyron

Captain Tyg looks blankly at the dungeon rift's entrance, contemplating
("This is it...my final battle…." said Captain Tyg "Me….Kurai….100 Knights….and 10 Mages"
"We're only 112 in number and from what Kurai said…..the enemies are in the hundreds…."
"Will we be able to hold the line until the general comes back...or will we die knowing we died while trying to protect the kingdom…..")

"It seems like my story is about to end…." said Captain Tyg "my final battle...my final glory…..if that is the case then i will fight with all that i have…."
Captain Tyg takes a deep breath before turning around, facing the elven knights and mages "In a few minutes, a dungeon break will occur"
"You know and i know that we know very little about this type of phenomenon except for one person that is here with us, Kurai Himitsuno, you should have already been briefed about him"
From what he told me, the earthquake was a sign that a dungeon break will occur and once the dungeon break occurs it will release a large horde of monsters numbering in the hundreds"
The elven knights and mages are shocked due to number of what they're about to face, fear replaced their face, they're legs shooked, and they hold their weapons tightly to lessen their fears
"We may only be 112 in numbers but we must HOLD the line until the general arrives!!"
"WE WILL BE THE VANGUARD!!"
"WE WILL NOT FALTER TO THEIR NUMBERS!!!"
"WE WILL DEFEND THE KINGDOM FROM THESE INVADERS!!!! EITHER WE LIVE OR DIE!!!!"
"FOR THE ELVEN KINGDOM!!!" shouted Captain Tyg as he raised his sword to the sky
