Sif looked at Jack with a cold expression. Her beautiful face was filled with determination, and the hand holding her sword tightened slightly. Although Odin, the King of the Gods, had chosen to forgive Jack and even allowed him to remain in Asgard, Sif clearly had no intention of forgiving him so easily.

"King of the Gods, even you have forgiven this fellow, but I will never forgive his actions. I am impossible to marry him."

After saying this, Sif gave Jack one bitter look. Her eyes were filled with anger and unwillingness, as though merely looking at him reminded her of the humiliation she had suffered. Without waiting for anyone to say anything else, she turned around and flew away quickly.

Jack watched her disappearing figure and smiled helplessly.

"This is also really a sad story."

Odin looked at Jack calmly. Although he was still wary of this dangerous man, his expression had become considerably more restrained compared with before.

"Even I, as the King of Asgard, must respect the individual wishes of everyone. Since Sif did not agree, there is nothing I can do."

Jack shrugged as if the matter was completely insignificant.

"Doesn't matter. There is still plenty of time. I have confidence that I can make Sif agree willingly."

Odin's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Hope that you can achieve it. It seems like you plan to stay in Asgard for several days."

"You will not welcome me?"

"Does it matter whether we welcome you or not? So long as you do not cause any destruction, no one in Asgard will target you."

Jack immediately smiled.

"Then I can feel relieved. This time is a friendly visit. Since that is the case, I must go and have some fun now."

As soon as he finished speaking, Jack wrapped an arm around Jane and disappeared from the spot.

The surrounding Asgardians watched the place where he had vanished. Even after he disappeared, the atmosphere remained tense for several moments. Many warriors had personally experienced the destruction Jack had once brought to Asgard, so the memory was still fresh in their minds.

Thor finally turned toward Odin.

"Royal Father, this is too dangerous."

Odin remained calm.

"Do you have another method?"

Thor's expression became dissatisfied.

"Our solution is to collaborate with a criminal like him. If we do this, what qualifications do we have left to protect other planets?"

Odin looked at his son.

"Reducing the number of enemies is also a method. We do not necessarily have to eliminate every enemy. Elimination is often the stupidest method."

Loki, who had been listening from nearby, suddenly smiled.

"Affectionate God Father, how do you intend to treat your enemy?"

Odin's expression immediately became cold.

"The crimes that Loki committed are unforgivable. But Frigga has pleaded with me, so you will spend the remaining years of your life in the dungeon."

Frigga was Odin's wife and Loki's foster mother. It was because of her plea that Loki's life had been spared.

Loki smiled faintly.

"Ha ha, ha ha. Interesting. You easily forgave Jack, yet you actually intend to treat your former son like this. This indicates what? Those who have power possess everything, while those without power can only accept their fate. But I do not blame you. Who can blame me for being too small and weak?"

"Take him away."

Odin's voice carried authority.

The guards immediately stepped forward and escorted Loki away.

Loki did not resist. He simply smiled as he was taken away, his eyes containing a complicated mixture of mockery and resignation.

On the wide and beautiful streets of the Immortal Palace, Jack and Jane walked together.

The scenery surrounding them was magnificent. Golden buildings rose into the sky, enormous pillars stood along the streets, and strange yet beautiful structures filled Jane's vision. The sunlight of Asgard seemed warmer than the sunlight on Earth, illuminating the golden architecture and making the entire city appear almost unreal.

Jane looked around with undisguised excitement.

"This place is really amazing. I am the first person from Earth to visit here."

"No, I am first," Jack said.

Jane immediately turned her head toward him.

"You? You are not even in the category of humans. You are not a person, therefore you cannot be counted. Your fellow rushed here to discuss marriage unexpectedly."

Jack smiled shamelessly.

"I did not come to discuss marriage with you, but proposed directly."

Jane curled her lips.

"You heartless bastard."

She looked at Jack suspiciously before asking,

"What happened with that Sif?"

"It is not important."

Jack answered casually, his expression completely unconcerned.

Jane's eyes narrowed.

"Then why did you come to Asgard?"

Jack smiled.

"I peeped at her while she was taking a bath."

Jane immediately gave him a look of disgust.

"You hooligan."

She shook her head helplessly.

"If I were Sif, I would probably meet you with a sword and cut you in half."

Jack laughed.

"If she wants to cut me in half, she needs to have that skill."

Jane could only sigh. She sometimes wondered how Jack could remain so shameless even when surrounded by gods.

Then she suddenly remembered something important.

"Did you notice? Everyone seems to be watching us. They look at us as if they are seeing the God of Plagues."

Jack glanced around at the Asgardians who were deliberately keeping their distance.

"This is very normal. After all, I once left quite an impression on them."

"You really are something."

Jane shook her head.

Then her expression became serious.

"I forgot. What about the Aether Particle in my body?"

Jack's smile faded slightly.

"The Dark Elves will definitely come looking for it. They will eventually come to Asgard, and if things are handled carelessly, they could bring disaster here."

Jane was silent for a moment.

"In any case, I don't care about those Dark Elves or whatever they are. You must guarantee my safety."

"That is a given."

Jack answered without hesitation.

Jane looked at him for a moment before relaxing slightly. Whatever else could be said about Jack, she knew that he would not casually allow something to happen to her.

Then she suddenly looked toward the end of the street.

"There is someone in front of you."

At the distant end of the golden street, a familiar figure stood silently.

Sif.

She held her sword in her hand and stared directly at Jack.

Jane immediately understood.

"Evidently, she must have come to make one last attempt to settle things with you."

Sif's cold voice carried through the street.

"Jack."

Jack looked toward her and smiled.

"Yo, isn't this Sif? Is this about me?"

Sif's expression became even colder.

"I must settle things with you. The God King forgives you, but I cannot. You will not commit any crime against Asgard again. Only then can I repay the honor I owe to Asgard. Today, either you die or I perish."

Her words were firm.

Jane looked at Jack helplessly.

"What are you going to do now?"

Jack's face showed a trace of helplessness.

"Sif, is this really necessary? It was only a matter of me seeing you take a bath, wasn't it? Couldn't you have simply let it go?"

"Shut up!"

Sif's face immediately flushed with shame and anger.

She suddenly rushed forward, drawing her sword in a swift motion.

The blade cut through the air with a sharp sound as it moved toward Jack.

Jack remained completely calm.

"Sif, you are not my opponent."

He raised two fingers.

With a casual movement, he caught the incoming sword between them.

Clang!

The sword stopped instantly.

Sif's expression changed.

"Hateful!"

She immediately exerted all her strength, attempting to pull the sword free.

Jack did not even move.

"Sif, although saying this may hurt your confidence a little, the disparity between us is simply too great. Even if I stand here and let you attack me, you do not have the means to defeat me."

Sif's eyes burned with anger.

"Don't look down on me!"

She suddenly swept her leg toward Jack.

"Good."

Jack stepped backward, effortlessly avoiding the attack. At the same time, he released his fingers and allowed Sif to retrieve her sword.

"Ha!"

Sif shouted and immediately attacked again.

Her sword moved like flowing clouds and running water. Each strike was faster and more fierce than the previous one. Her long hair moved behind her as she advanced, and the sword light flashed repeatedly beneath the golden sunlight.

Jack, however, moved with unbelievable ease.

His body swayed lightly, almost like a leaf floating upon the wind.

Sif's sword passed beside him again and again, yet she could not touch even the corner of his clothes.

Her frustration grew with every failed attack.

"Is only avoidance! What kind of man are you? If you have the skill, attack!"

Jack smiled.

"You are certain that you want me to attack?"

"Come!"

Sif shouted.

Jack sighed.

"Since you said it like this, then I have no choice but to show you."

He reached out and directly caught the blade of Sif's sword with his bare hand.

Sif's eyes widened.

For a brief moment, the entire street seemed to become silent.

Then—

Clang!

A resounding metallic sound echoed through the surroundings.

The sword in Sif's hand broke apart.

"How can?"

Sif stared at the broken weapon in disbelief.

The force of her own movement caused her body to lean forward. Before she could regain her balance, Jack opened his arms and smiled.

"I am impolite."

He caught Sif directly in his arms.

"Let me go! Let me go!"

Sif struggled fiercely. Her face became completely red as she realized how tightly Jack was holding her.

Jack, however, remained shamelessly calm.

Sif's body became tense, and she struggled even harder, but the difference in strength was simply too enormous.

Jack leaned closer to her ear and whispered with a teasing smile,

"Sif, you delivered yourself to me. You wanted to hit me, and now you want me to let you go. If I obey everything you say, where would Father's dignity go?"

Jane walked over and looked at the two of them.

"You forced her."

Jack looked innocent.

"She wanted to kill me. I was only defending myself."

Before Jane could say anything else, a powerful voice suddenly echoed from the distant end of the street.

"Let go of my younger sister!"
