"Luna?"
"Hmm?" Who was whispering in my ear?
"Luna?!"
There it was again, and it was ruining my sleep cycle. I haven't been able to fall into a deep sleep in over two years.
"Luna! Wake up."
"No," I nuzzled into Ivan's chest, grateful he was so large. This wouldn't be as comfortable otherwise.
"Come on. Wake up." The voice insists, and some part of me notes the giggles. "You have to!"
"I don't. We stayed up too late," which was true. If it's a nurse, they'll have to get over it. "Tay brought me a big dinner; I don't need breakfast."
Who needed breakfast when you had such a comfy mattress?
'Ivan makes a good mattress. He doesn't roll over in his sleep; his chest is wide enough that I don't feel like I'm falling off, and his snoring has a rhythmic sound I enjoy.'
'Who knew you're such a freak?'
'I'm not a freak. It's just a soothing sound.'
