Those are words I didn't expect from anyone, especially not from her.
Luke's right. All my emotions blew up, and I wanted to lash out.
What did everyone expect? They'd never dealt with a situation like this.
I expected her to say something else, but she didn't, staring at the wildflowers. She's still in the same clothes, dried blood on the white shirt, not bothering to hide her hands.
'She put her hands in your mouth.' I'm not over that, and it infuriated me. 'I almost bit them off!'
Staying quiet's safer than talking to her. As livid as I am, I'd say something I couldn't take back, making our situation worse.
Why was I the one who needed to understand and be reasonable?
Everyone argued with me on her behalf, reminding me I wasn't her Alpha anymore. That I needed to treat her gently and understand the trauma something like this could cause.
No one asked about my feelings.
