Roxy's POV
"Let's go, Roxy. It's not worth fighting against." Akira mumbled softly, hand on my shoulder. He sounded like he was done being my manager. Fine then. Let me relieve him off the duties.
Holding onto one of the Shifter pearls, I handed the little thing boosting with negative aura to him. More like...shoved it in his hand.
"Janet can go kiss herself goodbye. 'Cause I'm leaving." I said,
"Leaving? Leaving what?" Gena, my sweet girl was confused.
"The Regime, obviously."
The group gasped. Including Cyrus.
"That's...that's not what should happen, Roxy. I-I'll ask my sister to apologize. She didn't mean to—"
"She meant every word she said, Gena. I better get back home. I miss home." I smirked, knowing I just manipulated them. My red eyes glowed under the scorching sun, and all of them were hypnotized into doing what I just said.
I turned my back on them, faced Cyrus who looked stunned.
"Your powers really come in handy, little devil."
