This 200 km² of the desert served its purpose.
I had many, many spectators of the event. The biggest event that happened on earth, after its creation, perhaps. Hell On Earth.
People of Djado Plateau started praying. I could hear them amplified yet muffled, like background sound in Psuedo Hell. My eyes wandered over the burning walls. The souls lost for over a millinea now coming to find their destiny.
At least a few billion souls have been wandering aimlessly. I turned to the orbs, did some quick math.
"Given Hell has been inaccessible since stone age, its been 12,000 years. 136 human generations, more or less. If the median population was 1 billion, average age being 76...we've got a little more than 140 billion souls waiting for judgement." I said.
"The river is going to be overflowing...but I know you can handle it. After all...The pillars of fate are also established. Right behind you." I whispered to dramatize it. Gluttony chuckled.
