Edwin Sawyer invited Sebastian Lockwood inside. Lana Lowe emerged from the kitchen, and she too was momentarily taken aback when she saw him. She hadn't expected Andrea Wyatt's uncle to be so young.
"Sebastian, have a seat. Please, make yourself at home," Edwin Sawyer said with a smile, his eyes never leaving him for a second.
"Thank you, Mr. Sawyer."
"I hear you're already an attending physician. I never would have guessed you were so young. Are you even thirty?"
"I'm not."
Edwin Sawyer's smile widened in satisfaction. "So young and accomplished. Then I take it you're not married?"
"I'm usually so busy with work, I don't even have time to date."
In other words, Sebastian Lockwood was making it clear that he was single.
Edwin Sawyer's eyes lit up even more.
It was as if he weren't just made of gold, but studded with diamonds.
