Donovan Sheridan watched as the other man's smile grew increasingly sinister, and his scalp prickled.
'It's a holiday, too. Which unlucky bastard has he set his sights on?'
At that moment, Andrea Wyatt was still at the Sawyer family's home, stuck in an awkward conversation. His phone rang, and when he saw the caller ID, his soul nearly flew out of his body.
He excused himself to the Sawyers and went elsewhere to answer the call.
"Syd, what's going on between you and him?" Edwin Sawyer asked in a low voice as soon as Andrea had walked away.
If Chester could tell where Andrea's gaze was most focused, then he naturally could as well. It was just that Sydney had no interest in him and was giving him the cold shoulder.
"It's nothing."
He had previously entertained the idea of setting the two of them up, but his opinion had changed after a heated discussion with Chester.
"If you don't want to see him, should I send him on his way in a bit?"
