Chester Sawyer had a mysterious sort of self-confidence and an unshakeable faith in his own judgment.
He never thought his brilliant little brain could get him lost. So, after getting lost in the hospital yet again, he worried about being laughed at for his terrible sense of direction. Instead of calling Sydney Sawyer, he doubled back to the information desk on the first floor.
"Hi, miss, I was wondering where Dr. Sebastian Lockwood's office is?"
"Sebastian Lockwood?" The staff member at the information desk glanced at him. "Dr. Lockwood doesn't see patients for consultations. If you need to see a doctor, you'll have to register first, and we can assign you to someone else."
"No, that's not it. I need to see him about something."
"And who are you to him?"
"He's my brother. I have his number, I'm just worried he's busy and can't answer the phone."
