Sebastian Lockwood emerged from the bedroom, wearing a knee-length white bathrobe. A belt cinched his lean waist, leaving a small patch of skin exposed on his chest, where the faint outline of his muscles was visible.
Water dripped from the ends of his hair. Without his glasses on, the droplets brazenly traced the contours of his face, sliding down until they disappeared into his collar.
"Oh, it's you…" The corners of Sebastian Lockwood's lips tilted up, devastatingly charming. "I heard the door open and thought a thief had broken in, so I rushed out."
"I came to bring you some ginger soup, but no one answered when I knocked."
"The shower was probably too loud. I didn't hear it."
"That's perfectly normal."
Sydney Sawyer had never expected such a treat for the eyes. All she could think was that his apartment felt incredibly hot.
"Thank you."
Sebastian Lockwood walked over to the sofa and gestured for Sydney Sawyer to sit wherever she liked.
