Lauren Brooks stood behind Sydney Sawyer, just short of giving her a round of applause.
'That's my girl!'
'So badass!'
"I... I already broke up with her!" Kevin Chandler was still trying to make excuses.
"You *initiated* the breakup," Sydney Sawyer corrected. "Look, breaking up is normal. But you don't get to cheat and then pretend you're the good guy."
"You were the one who cheated, but you shifted the blame to Coco, making her think the breakup was her fault. She's been wracked with guilt this whole time, blaming herself. And you..."
"I've seen scumbags before, but I've never met one as shameless as you."
"Exactly! If you'd just been honest and said you fell for someone else, you could have had a clean, decent breakup. But no, you had to push the blame onto Coco. What kind of man are you?" Lauren Brooks demanded.
That's what infuriated them the most.
Kevin Chandler had scrambled up from the floor. Just then, the girl who had been singing walked up to him, rose in hand.
