All signs indicated that nothing major had happened to the Sawyer Family. Otherwise, there was no way they wouldn't have heard a peep. Sydney Sawyer felt slightly relieved. Meanwhile, Chester Sawyer, in the passenger seat, wouldn't stop fidgeting.
In Ryder Sharp's eyes, he looked like a wriggling worm!
"Chester, sit still!"
"I need to go to the bathroom."
The urge to pee was overwhelming; Chester couldn't hold it in.
"How far is the next rest stop?" Sydney Sawyer asked in a low voice.
"Twenty minutes."
When the car reached the rest stop, Chester scrambled out before it had even come to a complete stop and bolted for the restroom. He barged in recklessly, but when he came out, he was like a new person, refreshed and revitalized.
As they neared Keston, Chester seemed to grow more and more agitated, and he started talking even more.
It seemed he was trying to distract himself.
