All the way from the first floor of the mall to the restaurant, Sydney Sawyer was completely lost in thought about how Sebastian Lockwood used to like her. If Ryder Sharp hadn't called, she might have remained lost in her memories.
"Ryder?"
"Have you eaten yet?"
"We just sat down. Are you done with your workout?"
"Not yet. I was just calling to ask, how are things going with you and Sebastian?"
Ryder Sharp had never worried about anyone this much. He felt like a mother hen, and even he had to admit this wasn't his usual style.
"They're going great."
'We're already holding hands, so of course things are going great.'
"If he gives you any trouble, you tell me."
"Should I bring you back something to eat later?"
"No need."
Ryder Sharp hung up. The boxing coach training with him chuckled and teased, "Hey, Sharp, how old is your sister?"
"Hm?" Ryder Sharp raised an eyebrow, glancing at him.
