Crossing my arms, I surveyed the final moments of work with a slight frown as I mentally went over everything, my eyes sweeping across the rooms and workers before they landed again on the notebook in my hands.
There was so much to do to ensure that we had everything completed before they arrived, and the letter from the Capital made it clear that they were going to be... understandably taking their time to get here, so that was allowing me to take a sigh of relief albeit momentarily.
That sigh had most of the workers jumping and rushing about as they worked faster, trying to finish up as they perceived said sigh as something directed towards them; they only got 'worse' when Jahi appeared behind me, the towering Demoness looking around before hugging me from behind with that familiar squeeze and hand placement that I loved, even if I didn't outright show it.
