The immediate discarding of decorum from Lady Kio didn't 'look' the greatest in the eyes of our Nobility, but most of them were incapable of even just looking at her without their eyes trailing to places they shouldn't have been.
As for the woman herself she didn't seem to care one bit about where people looked since she was far too busy grinning triumphantly at my Mother, who was attempting - with very little success - to ignore her 'old friend' who was getting progressively closer the moment they saw one another.
My decision to step up to my own Mother and attempt to be a blockade between them immediately backfired since apparently the other Dogkin woman had a very clear agenda for today, and it involved both my Mother as well as myself.
Thankfully she at least had the decorum of speaking quietly when she walked right up to us, but anyone who had any experience whatsoever with reading body language could tell that this wasn't a 'happy' encounter.
