This is a single-bed room with a woman lying on the bed, her gaze somewhat dazed, tears sliding down her cheeks.
"Knock knock..." A knocking sound came from outside the ward.
"Creak..." The door opened from the outside, and Luke and Jackson entered the room.
The woman shivered slightly, looking a bit fearful towards the doorway, "Who are you?"
Jackson showed his badge, "Ms. Rebecca Mosel, there's no need to be nervous.
I'm Detective Jackson Beach from the Robbery and Murder Department, and this is Captain Lee from our team.
We will now be investigating your case."
Rebecca Mosel slowly relaxed and asked in a hopeful voice, "Have you found the suspect?"
Luke shook his head, "We just took over the case. We need to understand the situation before we can find the suspect."
Rebecca Mosel wiped away her tears, "Why did this happen? I clearly installed a security system, yet someone broke into my house...
They didn't react at all.
