"She is flying to Germany tomorrow, going to prepare at the company." Ivy had heard she had work today, but suddenly it was changed to tomorrow.
When asked about the reason, she didn't say much, just mentioned a shift change.
Eve just returned from school this morning and wasn't sure what happened, but she felt Tracy was behaving a bit strange, and seemed emotionally low.
Each time she asked what was wrong, Tracy would become agitated as if she were on stimulants, always shaking her head excitedly, even deliberately avoiding her gaze.
Ivy didn't probe further and went to her room to sleep after she left, only to be woken up by the doorbell; in front of her stood a middle-aged man who seemed dignified, like a butler from a wealthy family.
"Uncle…" She wanted to ask more, but the man already interrupted her—
"Miss, if Miss Tracy returns, please tell her that I was here, and here is my business card, she can contact me if anything happens…"
