It had been a week since June and the rest left the forest and they looked terrible.
"We have to look for a place to stay." Jaxon said as he stopped walking, before they could glare at him a group of people caught their attention. They want towards June and the rest.
"Why did you leave the line, join the line or stay here and die?!" a soldier shouted at them.
"We aren-"
"Sorry sir." Susan interrupted Jaxon, she walked to the back of the line followed by the rest.
"So, why did we join the line?" Jaxon questioned as he looked at the soldiers in the back and front. Rolling her eyes Susan quipped.
"Weren't you the one who just said, 'we have to look for a place to stay' hmm."
Jaxon flushed red with embarrassment. Grumbling under his breath, he walked faster.
After five minutes they reached an old fortress surrounded by metal walls. The building in the middle of 74 square foot base it's self was over 11 feet. The metal walls were at least 9 feet tall
"Are you sure this place is safe?" Jaxon asked with caution. Looking at Jaxon disdainfully June answered as she looked around. "If I remember correctly it used to be a prison camp until about three years ago."
"How did you know?" Susan asked her confused.
" My father came here four years ago, before he disappeared." June responded indifferently. "Oh." Susan stopped asking.
"This place is so really big." Susan, stated as she walked around to inspect the big city like base with Hayley and Siera, while Jaxon began to walk towards June who stood next to the seven foot gate.
"You seem to be very calm about it." Jaxon said, looking at June, who stood facing him with a neutral face.
"I guess so. My dad told me that this place used to be full of bad humans and bad monsters but now the monsters have died out." June calmly said, looking towards the entrance of the fortress. "I wonder why my father went missing."
"Your father is the leader of Team 7?" Jaxon asked.
"Yes."
"Did he go to fight a war somewhere?"
June chuckled as she shook her head no and turned around towards him.
"He didn't fight, he just went after a traitor." She informed.
Jaxon: "Do you know who?"
"I'm sure he already told you."
June: "... No, he didnt."
"Wait how do you know of Team 7, or any of this?" June asked as water slowly moved around her.
"Oh, I'm the second son of the Li family, nice to meet you." Jaxon introduced him self with a sunny smile on his handsome face.
"The Li family?!" Hayley's voiced rang out as she point at Jaxon's back. Luckily the noise made by the people interning the base overshadowed her shout. Awkwardly scratqching his shoulder length black colored hair he nodded.
