Chapter 492 -   Chapter 195: Doomsday's Alien Form, the Fleeing Bat

In just over ten minutes, Doomsday's strength had skyrocketed.

Even Superman's melee, with the force of millions of tons, couldn't break Doomsday's defenses.

He grew stronger with each blow. This super-sized, super-cognitive biological weapon horrified Superman and left Batman dumbfounded.

"Bruce, come up with a plan." Superman delivered another punch, sending Doomsday hundreds of meters away. He knew this was just buying time to talk with Batman.

"Grab the kryptonite weapon, charge and stab it—that's the perfect plan, but neither you nor I can pull it off." Batman felt defeated, his death looming.

All other effective tactics had been used, only to make Doomsday even more powerful.

They had never encountered an opponent of this caliber before.

"Besides, there are others targeting this place. I don't know if they're Luthor's backup, or some dangerous individual with malicious intentions." Batman scanned the surroundings through the single remaining electronic lens on his helmet.

He saw numerous agile, bizarrely constructed creatures darting through the darkness, already surrounding the area.

"I've heard and seen an Amazonian warrior fight a man wearing his underwear outside his body and carrying half a shield. She was badly defeated. I also heard they came from—never mind, but whatever their motives, we have no power to deal with them. We can't even solve the trouble Luthor has created..."

Superman watched Doomsday rise unharmed, roar, and stride toward him. He gritted his teeth, his eyes gleaming with determination.

"Bruce, after I die, remember to take good care of my mother. It won't be a problem for you to give her a peaceful old age," Superman said in a low voice.

Batman was a billionaire, and the Wayne Group's businesses spanned a wide range of industries, so caring for an elderly widower wouldn't be a problem.

Superman would personally take up the kryptonite spear, charge forward with all his might, and stab Doomsday to death!

  "You'll die."

"But if we don't do this, we'll all die, and many more will die. If I die, more people will live, and that's enough."

Hearing this, Batman opened his mouth, wanting to say a thousand words, but in the end, nothing came out, only a deep sense of guilt.

This superhero, so willing to die, was just not long ago trying to kill him. This is really...

For the first time, Batman felt that his previous self was like the Joker.

Superman used his super vision to lock onto the kryptonite spear's position. Instead of confronting Doomsday head-on, he immediately turned and accelerated to grab the kryptonite spear.

As expected, Doomsday pursued him with a brutal force. This guy only had combat instincts, no "thinking".

"Hehehe, a monster worthy of Krypton's forbidden biotechnology. But, Clark, Bruce, even if you kill Doomsday, what will happen?"

Luthor, clutching a megaphone, his long blond hair flying in the wind, a maniacal expression on his face, more Joker-like than ever, shouted, "I've hinted at you before, that where you've neglected, new life is being nurtured! Why did you think I was talking about this mindless Doomsday?" Batman's face

drastically changed, and he rushed forward in anger. He swung his bat hook, quickly leaping over the rubble of the skyscraper, and lightly punched Luthor

. After all, he was still wearing an exoskeleton suit. A little more force would have exploded Luthor's head.

Batman didn't mind killing, but the culprit must be punished with a punishment even more terrible than death.

"How much have you hidden?" Batman angrily grabbed Luthor. "Do you want to destroy the world?!"

"On the contrary, I want to save it. If I succeed, it will possess even greater power, and the one who controls it is me—a pure human!"

In many parallel universes, Luthor is Superman's mortal enemy. The reason many Luthors hate Superman is simple: Superman is neither from Earth nor is he too strong and righteous, always leading humanity through crisis after crisis. Luthors cannot tolerate this.

Meanwhile, Superman was about to grab the kryptonite spear when he felt Doomsday's massive hand grip his back.

In a split second, he could seize the spear, turn, and thrust it in. The battle would be over. Superman thought so, and he did just that.

  In

one smooth motion, the spear, emitting a green glow, pierced Doomsday's chest.

But Doomsday, in turn, delivered a punch that also shattered Superman's chest.

Without the kryptonite, this injury wouldn't be a big deal for Superman, as he possessed powerful healing abilities. But alas, the kryptonite was decimating his cells, rapidly weakening him, leaving him weaker than a normal human in mere seconds.

His breathing became increasingly rapid, his consciousness rapidly blurring, and his eyelids heavier than a meteorite.

But Superman, watching Doomsday, who was also rapidly losing his life force, felt his own death was worth it.

"Let's die together, you cyborg monster..."

  "No, you can't die."

A figure stepped out. It was the Super Soldier. He first pried open Superman's hands, which were gripping the kryptonite spear, and then, with a flying kick, sent Doomsday and the kryptonite spear flying.

Without the kryptonite's suppression, Superman's injuries healed quickly.

"You also draw your power from solar radiation? It's a pity it's not daytime, and the Sentinel isn't in this universe. Otherwise, you two could have touched, and perhaps a magical reaction would have occurred."

The Super Soldier reached out and yanked Superman from the ground.

"Thank you, Superman from the parallel universe? This is truly..." Superman looked at the wailing Doomsday and immediately expressed his gratitude.

Logically, these visitors from the parallel universe who had saved him were essentially on the side of peace. At least they weren't like Doomsday, a monster with a purely destructive instinct.

But unfortunately, Superman's understanding was incomplete.

"Superman, be careful! These outsiders are not right!" Diana warned at the top of her lungs, her voice cracking.     "That's right, that person needs you to pay him for the use of your body," the Super Soldier said with a sullen face.

He watched Superman's face in shock, and the next second, a force similar to the alien larva in his body emerged from Superman's body out of thin air.

There was no medium, as if as long as they were in the same system of time and space, they would naturally be corroded by this force.

"What is this thing?! What do you want to do to me?!"

Superman was shocked and furious. He immediately wanted to tear open his chest, which had not yet fully healed, and reach out to pull out the extra thing.

But the Super Soldier would not allow him to do so. He reached out and grasped Superman's hands tightly.

  Puff!

A dark red ray turned in the darkness and hit Superman. The ray splashed like a spring, covering Superman's body.

"This will be more effective. I'm quite experienced. Back in Universe 9602, I conquered planets and transformed various races into unified biological weapons." Sanoside approached, hands behind his back, and said coldly, "Also, your methods are foolish. Duva can read all your motives from your mind. Don't try to find loopholes in Duva's control over you. I've already looked for them, and there are none."

Sanoside's mood was bleak, knowing that he had once again underestimated the power of the Concept God.

"Excellent! It seems you understand biological weapons very well and have a deep understanding of how to be a good biological weapon." The Super Soldier watched helplessly as the Superman of this universe became Duva's puppet.

This was a disaster. It wouldn't be long before more superheroes and supervillains would be controlled by Duva, forever unable to break free of his control.

"No, that won't happen. The more people he controls, and the more powerful they become, the greater the chance of him finding loopholes! I don't believe there is an absolutely perfect God in this world. It's impossible!" The Super Soldier's eyes were bloodshot.

When Superman stood up again, he could no longer control himself as before.

"So, what's inside me is those strange creatures... It's also a biological weapon, and it can parasitize in this way?" Superman only sensed his own state, and his heart sank to the bottom.

It was over. All his struggles and resistance were futile, as if his will and body were disconnected, unable to align.

"That's right, that's it! It seems Superman's brain is indeed better than yours, Bruce. Look, Superman survived, but he gave up resistance. That's weird, isn't it?"

Luthor's face was also filled with shock. Despite his speculation, even Superman couldn't escape this control. This was simply the worst of all the possibilities he had imagined.

Even the gods of the world had failed before that creature, becoming a puppet, so what about everyone else?

"Clark? What are you doing..." Batman looked in disbelief at Superman, who suddenly stood silently beside this group of strangers. His brilliant mind already knew something was amiss.

Mind control? Mind magic? Telepathy? Hallucination? Or some other method of deceiving the brain?

"You've dealt with these guys before? Do you know what they are?" Batman glared at Luthor fiercely. In his eyes, the bastard was the culprit for everything that had happened.

"I only knew a little, now I know more—"

"Obviously, you screwed up, bastard! I don't care what you were up to with these strange people and creatures, but you messed everything up. This is worse than letting that Kryptonian bio-monster wreak havoc!"

There was only one Doomsday. In theory, as long as a powerful opponent didn't show up to constantly beat it up, forcing it to evolve again and again, Doomsday's killing efficiency would be far better than these guys who drove a group of strange creatures and could control Superman.

But now? Doomsday was dead, but these guys were far more dangerous than Doomsday!

"It's not over yet, Bruce. At least have a little more faith in me, who surpasses you in intelligence." Sweat beaded Luthor's forehead, but he wasn't giving up yet. He had a backup plan. "I admit that guy's methods are terrifying. Even Clark was under his control. He has one, no, two, thugs under his command, two who look every bit as capable as Clark! But it doesn't matter. We'll soon have stronger thugs. Look—"

Luthor pointed in a direction. "Look over there, our greatest strength! I have to remind you for the third time that new life is being born!"

Batman was startled, unsure whether to feel relieved or angry. He saw Doomsday, who should have died under the kryptonite spear, suddenly twitching.

Doomsday wasn't dead yet? No, since it was "a new life," that meant...

  Puff!

A slender claw tore through Doomsday's body, and then a monster tore at his corpse like a rag bag.

Doomsday had barely a breath left. As Batman watched from afar, its body seemed to instinctively begin a new round of evolution, but it lost the power and died.

Faced with a higher concept, Doomsday, born less than an hour later, ultimately succumbed.

This Doomsday was merely crafted from General Zod's corpse, perhaps only slightly more powerful than the Doomsday-like creatures Darkseid mass-produced in the animated universe, combined with a combination of Doomsday and Parademons.

"Next, I just need to control this giant creature to kill those people!"

  "How do you control it?"

"Pheromones! I observed the social structure and biological characteristics of the aliens and extracted them..."

Luthor pounded his head dramatically, as if to reinforce his point, but his eyes were fixed on Batman.

"You lunatic, putting your hopes on something like this?" Batman punched Luthor hard.

But his heart moved slightly, and he vaguely understood something. Immediately, without even looking at Superman, he jumped up while running quickly, grabbed a brand new invisible bat fighter in the sky with his bat hook, and quickly fled from here.

"Escaped? What is the dark claw of this universe..." The super soldier frowned subconsciously in thought, but then he was shocked. He suspected that his thoughts were gradually leaning towards Duval. Otherwise, why would he think about such a question?

"Maybe he has a new tactic. I have a hunch that he will give me a surprise. It is a smart idea to escape decisively, but no matter where you run to, you can't get away from this planet, this universe."

Duval shook his head as he looked at Batman who was running away with all his strength.

Escape is impossible. Let alone the DCEU universe, even in other numbered universes, many worlds have entered the end of the world, and the reality of the Justice League being wiped out is not uncommon.

Chapter 196: The world isn't hopeless yet, Batman still fights on.

Diana watched the scene before her with red eyes. This righteous descendant of Zeus hated her own incompetence and was horrified by the terrifying presence of these visitors from a parallel universe.

It had only been so long, and yet these outsiders, some of them incredibly powerful and outnumbered, seemed to have effortlessly changed everything without even doing anything extra.

Superman had become Duval's loyal lackey; Batman didn't even bother to communicate with Duval and the others, desperately fleeing.

Luthor, his hair disheveled, shouted a bunch of incomprehensible words like a madman.

Doomsday, so powerful he seemed capable of infinite evolution, had died just like that. It was unclear whether he was killed by kryptonite or the parasite.

Diana was paralyzed, completely paralyzed. She felt that these people before her were far more terrifying than Ares.

Ares might be a god, but these beings from a parallel universe were a whole lot more terrifying. They

were still frantically draining the very life force of this universe, transforming it into their slaves.

"Don't try to attack Duva! I've tried that trick countless times." Sanoside's voice was terrifying, the oppression of a cosmic god.

Diana felt the immense force before her even more oppressive than Ares had ever been.

"Are you a god too? A god like you must be his slave?" Diana stumbled to her feet, grasping the Godslayer Sword in her hand, still refusing to give up on attacking Duva.

Killing Duva, the controller, might improve the situation.

Of course, it could also get worse, but Diana had no other choice but to take a gamble. After all, even Superman had fallen, so what superhero could be stronger than Superman?

"Slave? Humph, Amazon, you're utterly ignorant."

Sanoside's stature was as tall as a rock, furrows running down his body. His hands were always behind his back, and anyone uninformed would automatically assume that Sanoside was the boss of Duva's group.

Sanoside wished to be the boss, but now was not the time.

"I encountered Duval before you guys in this universe, and I'm his strongest opponent. It's just that I didn't understand Duval's methods for a while, so I was inferior to him. But this situation won't last forever," Sanoside said coldly, watching Duval, who had already flown towards Doomsday's corpse.

Diana's eyes lit up. These outsiders were full of intrigue and sharp conflicts. This was an opportunity.

As expected, no matter how powerful the Conqueror Legion was, it was bound to have some internal problems. A group of murderous villains would not easily obey orders from others.

Superman looked like a complete puppet, but the others seemed to have a strong sense of autonomy. Was it because they were stronger, able to resist the power of the controller to a certain extent?

Diana didn't understand. There were too many mysteries about these outsiders.

"It seems you've found a loophole in Duval..." Diana looked at Sanoside before her.

  Sanoside smiled grimly.

Perhaps he had found something, but Sanoside himself wasn't sure. No such thought crossed his mind, a move intended to prevent Duva from noticing.

Sanoside had always suspected that Duva could not only control their bodies but also peer into their minds, so he deliberately avoided giving much thought to the possibility of rebelling against Duva.

So, Sanoside knew his instincts had indeed grasped something, but what it was, how he could break Duva's control and kill the alien within him, he couldn't know without intense thought. When

the time was right, Sanoside would launch a rebellion, quickly coming up with a discovery and striking a decisive blow against Duva.

The only thing that also gave Sanoside an instinctive unease was that Duva had already conquered several universes in another multiverse and must have captured many intelligent individuals.

Were those intelligent individuals, so loyal to Duva, not tempted to rebel? If so, what plan would they have chosen? It was certain that they would all fail.

But Sanoside knew that the momentous discovery, which instinctively throbbed at his heart, yet he forced himself not to dwell on it, must lie within the present multiverse.

This was a realm even Duval had never encountered, and there would definitely be an opportunity.

Sanoside gazed at Duval's figure with apathy, his mind empty, his thoughts detached, as if he were a mindless fighting machine. This was

completely different from the super soldier, who openly displayed his rebellious tendencies.

The super soldier stared at Superman with a grim expression. It was as if he were standing in a trance, watching from a third-party perspective as he was being forcibly controlled once again. This was terrible.

"You too?" Superman was in great pain and anger, seemingly because the alien on his chest had completely taken control of his body. He finally had the ability to speak. After confirming Batman's escape, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Bruce wasn't one to cowardly seek his own life. Since he'd escaped so decisively, he must have a plan to fight these visitors from the parallel universe...

Next, Superman had to find a way to rid himself of the foreign object in his chest, but that seemed nearly impossible. Otherwise, his alter ego and the burly figure would have attacked Duvall long ago.

"My mind is full of Duvall's name right now... I've gained so much knowledge out of nowhere, and I've formed strange connections with all of you." Superman tried to mobilize his body, but it didn't respond.

The commands his brain sent were intercepted by the alien larva in his chest, and every nerve in his body was controlled by the alien larva.

"That guy won't stay so complacent forever. I don't believe perfect power exists, even if he's a god!" The Super Soldier looked at Superman righteously. "I need your help."

"Clark, you'd better stay away from the Super Soldier. This guy is different from you. He's a real stubborn, single-minded person." Duval's voice echoed in Superman's mind. "He's only half of you, the parallel universe version of you. The other half has nothing to do with you, and his personality is largely influenced by that other half."

  Superman was shocked.

Indeed, the man before him was very similar to him, in appearance, build, and abilities, but wearing underwear outside and wielding a shield and weapon were not his style.

"Oh... How unfortunate that it turned out like this." Luthor climbed to his feet, his smile twisted slightly because his face was swollen from Batman's blow.

He was highly intelligent and quickly assessed the situation. After reaching a tacit understanding with Batman, he did the same as Thanoside, clearing his mind.     "Luthor, you did all this!!" Superman was furious.

"You're still blaming me at this time? Did you give Batman your brain after you reconciled with him? You should be thanking me. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't even know about the existence of these alien invaders, let alone their capabilities! They're coming with an army, planning to use our planet as a base to expand their forces!"

Luthor scratched his hair, tucking it behind his ears, then pointed at Superman and sneered, "If I hadn't lured these people out beforehand, by the time you righteous men realized something was amiss, you'd be facing tens, maybe even hundreds of millions of aliens!"

In a matter of seconds, Luthor had cleared his mind, bracing himself for a sudden and unforeseen fall like Superman.

But Duval seemed uninterested in him and didn't attack him. Instead, he stood focused over Doomsday's corpse, examining the newly born alien.

The alien stood motionless, showing no intention of tearing into Doomsday's corpse.

  This was quite unusual.

Even aliens need to eat, especially when newly born, as they need to absorb energy to rapidly grow to adulthood.

  But this creature doesn't.

It possesses Doomsday's most superior genes.

One of the hallmarks of biological weapons like Doomsday is that they don't require food to sustain life. They possess a self-contained internal circulation system, allowing limited energy to circulate through their bodies, becoming more abundant, a cycle that perpetuates its power.

Without this internal circulation system, Doomsday wouldn't be able to evolve rapidly under various attacks, ultimately becoming immune to the very attacks that inflict damage.

Of course, Doomsdays come in different tiers. The top-tier Doomsdays possess the most perfect and efficient internal circulation systems and the most terrifying evolutionary speeds, a level that even gods fear.

Needless to say, this DCEU Doomsday is surprisingly capable of being countered by kryptonite. Even without the alien's chest-piercing attack, it would still be slain by the kryptonite spear. Clearly, this Doomsday isn't of high quality.

Who would fear kryptonite? Before being killed by kryptonite, they would have evolved immunity to it. That's what makes a true Doomsday.

But the alien that burst through his chest had stolen Doomsday's finest genes, effectively intensively refining his genes, which were already designed for adaptation and evolution. It must possess a greater evolutionary capacity than this one.

Without hesitation, Duvall picked up the kryptonite spear from the ground and thrust it into the alien.

With a sizzling sound, the alien's body was pierced, and all its vital signs were rapidly collapsing, impending death.

"What is he doing? Is the alien out of control?" Superman observed this scene, sensing that things couldn't be that simple.

Sure enough, within a few seconds, Superman's already worried heart sank to the bottom, his eyes filled with deep horror.

He saw that the alien's injuries were inexplicably healing rapidly. Clearly restrained by kryptonite, no different from a Kryptonian, it was gradually ignoring the threat of the kryptonite spear.

"Evolution...? An evolutionary power even more powerful than that bio-weapon! How is this possible? Could a parasite like the Alien steal its host's abilities?" Superman was stunned, feeling as if he were falling into an icy cave. He instinctively lowered his head, using his X-ray vision to peer inside his chest, at the Alien larvae tightly fused with his body. It

wasn't just about parasitism and control; it could also rupture his chest. Once it did, it would steal all his abilities—no, it would possess the same power, but far greater in intensity!

He'd thought Doomsday's existence was outrageous enough, but Superman realized he was still shortsighted. There were even parasites even crazier than Doomsday.

"Hey, hey, this is terrible... All the worst-case scenarios I'd imagined have been activated," Luthor muttered, rubbing his face. His expression was grimacing, but he quickly recovered.

The more despairing the reality, the greater the proof of his greatness if Lex Luthor could put an end to it all, single-handedly paving the way to victory.

The only pity was that he wasn't the one who could personally create this future. He knew he couldn't escape.

"Do you understand, Clark? The Doomsday you fought so hard against was nothing. Facing the gods and demons of these parallel universes, you—we—don't even deserve to fight hard. The gap is too vast. We, just starting out, can't compete with these outsiders who must have experienced countless battles."

Therefore, a more drastic and desperate means was needed to break through the impasse, Luthor thought, but he didn't utter the last word.

Yes, Luthor had already prepared for the worst-case scenario before he took action. He would teach that arrogant and insolent fellow—Duval a profound lesson!

Even if you were a god, more powerful than Superman, Zod, or any of those other creatures, you would suffer a great loss at the hands of a human like me!

"That Luthor guy, even without my parasite, I could sense the chaotic thoughts emanating from his head..." Duval didn't even glance at Luthor, but when Luthor's super brain was thinking intensely, it surged like a divine artifact, a storm of thought.

For a conceptual god like Duval, it was too conspicuous.

  "As for you..."

Duval touched his chin, sensing the various conditions of the Doomsday alien in front of him.

He knew that this guy was special, even more special than the Mephisto alien or something, and he had a preliminary idea of how to bring out this guy's talents.

  ...

  Gotham.

Batman spread his cape and turned into a bat across the night sky.

"Master Wayne, I'm very happy to know that you are still alive. The satellite footage shows that Mr. Clark seems to have defected to the enemy." Alfred contacted Batman immediately and was very happy.

"There is no time, Alfred, we must prepare immediately and seize every minute and every second of precious time, which may change the situation." Batman said hoarsely, his voice still full of calmness.

"So, you have found a way to win?"

"Yes, I have found it. Luthor is indeed a crazy genius."

Batman said slowly: "There are at least two ways to win."

Chapter 197: The first plan to eliminate Duval was so insane, what would the second plan look like?

"It seems I've missed a lot of information, but with all due respect, I didn't notice when you had such a friendly conversation with Lex Luthor."

  Alfred couldn't understand Batman's words.

The method to defeat the enemy? Or did it come from Lex Luthor?

If Alfred didn't know Batman wouldn't play a trick on him, he would have suspected he was hallucinating.

"Language isn't an efficient form of communication, at least not for human language. I'm not sure those alien creatures called aliens have more advanced means of communication."

Under the night sky, Batman surveyed the bustling Gotham City.

The city had a population of over 20 million and a high crime rate, but it was also quite prosperous.

However, tonight was destined to be a sleepless one. I feared that by now, the news about Doomsday would have spread throughout the world.

More and more people would know that LexCorp had created a monster, defeated by the reconciled Superman and Batman—but unfortunately, that wasn't entirely true.

I wonder if the world will have a chance to maintain its current social order soon. It's likely to get even worse, Batman thought, as he flew into the Batcave outside Wayne Manor.

"What a restless night! Gotham City finally quiets down, but the world faces an unprecedented crisis."

Alfred had been waiting for a long time, watching Batman deftly remove his armor, his face weary.

"Alfred, quickly start all the computers. I need to conduct an experiment."

"A more intense experiment than the one you used to analyze kryptonite and create kryptonite weapons in a fraction of the time? I'm glad to see you still have this kind of energy in your middle age, but this kind of continuous, high-intensity action can't last."

Alfred advised, "You should take a break. You challenged Clark, attacked Doomsday, and now you're about to embark on another round of operations... You're human, not a god. Gods don't need rest, but humans do."

Only Alfred would always remember that Batman was mortal. He wouldn't use Batman as a wish-granting machine like others did, as if a simple shout would always lead to Batman offering solutions to their problems.

"That's why I emphasized the time limit."

Bruce's eyes were bloodshot, his body bruised and swollen. Intense pain spread throughout his body, but his face betrayed no sign of it, as if he hadn't suffered any injury.

"Clark has been captured by the enemy, and Luthor will likely become their puppet. Their power and wisdom will eventually be used as a weapon against us,"

Bruce said gravely. "Also, I don't have enough intelligence on these aliens, and I'm unsure whether the enemy leader's control will grow over time. Therefore, the faster the rescue, the better. Earth cannot afford to lose Superman."

"Doesn't that mean those people, or aliens, know everything about what you're planning next?"

"I believe Luthor will clear his mind first. I can't imagine why he wouldn't. It means he has more plans, but I can't."

Bruce spoke, pulling a high-tech box from his armor.

Alfred could tell the key was what was inside.

"When did Luthor give you that?" Alfred asked.

"I infiltrated LexCorp and stole it. Luthor briefly adjusted LexCorp's security just for me. When I was searching for this box, I glanced at the information recorded inside and roughly understood the direction of Luthor's plan. There are two options."

Bruce was confident that he could further refine Luthor's plan, or even find a better one.

That's why he emphasized "at least two methods."

"Intelligent people have a unique way of communicating. Every movement carries a wealth of information."

Alfred sighed as he watched Bruce embark on another round of frantic work.

Ordinary people could never tell whether Batman or Bruce Wayne was the true identity of the man before them.

Bruce's mind raced, quickly deciphering and understanding Luthor's backup plan.

As he'd praised him, Luthor was indeed a madman, but also a genius.

"Luthor discovered the silent expansion of the aliens before us, began covert research before us, and achieved significant results... All his actions that we saw were just deception!"

Bruce recalled the "pheromone" response he'd received when he'd questioned Luthor.

Trying to use pheromones to seize control of the aliens? Turns out, Luthor himself wasn't convinced this method would succeed; it was merely another necessary test.

Luthor had already provided the true backup plan, the means to end this disaster before it even fully erupted.

Only Bruce, in that critical moment, could, in a matter of seconds, glean from Luthor's eyes and gestures, using his immense computing power, quickly decipher Luthor's most likely underlying message in such a desperate situation. He decided to personally take on the task Luthor would never have the chance to complete: end the alien threat.

"So that's how it is... Luthor has put all his research on the aliens into this: their physical characteristics, behavioral habits, social structure, and biological research results, plus the extreme tests he conducted on Doomsday and Clark..."

Bruce understood the specific steps he had to take on. His expression hesitated for a moment, uncertain, and helplessly realized that there seemed no more reliable way to proceed than to follow Luthor's instructions.

Alfred immediately understood what Bruce was thinking.

"It seems that you haven't found a better solution from the plan Luther left behind... so you can only act according to Luther's plan?"

"Yes, but both methods are extremely dangerous."

Bruce said with a headache: "Alfred, fully activate the Batcave's defense mechanism to ensure that no form of mental power, magic, or other forces can detect our actions."     Alfred was already prepared and immediately acted.

At that moment, Bruce's first plan appeared on his computer.

"What? That's the plan... This is insane, but it certainly fits Luthor's character. Defeat the enemy at their strongest point? Even weapons like Doomsday are merely experiments to test the limits of the Alien..."

Alfred adjusted his glasses, looking in disbelief at the plan that would require Bruce's personal implementation.

"The first plan involves exploiting the Alien's ability to steal the host's best genes, surpassing them by bursting through the host's chest. This will continuously purify Doomsday's genes, ultimately creating a Doomsday immune to the parasite?"

Bruce's expression was complicated. This made sense. Luthor used Krypton's forbidden biotechnology to consume General Zod's only remaining high-level genetic corpse to create the strongest Doomsday yet, testing the limits of Dewar and his crew.

As it turned out, Doomsday died miserably, unable to withstand even the damage of kryptonite. Even in his prime, facing the Alien, he would still be doomed.

"This data contains detailed information about Kryptonian technology, which will save us a lot of time, but where can we find a Kryptonian more powerful than Zod?" Alfred asked, but he immediately thought of someone.

Yes, there is indeed a Kryptonian on Earth who, in theory, possesses a more complete genetic profile than General Zod, possessing greater potential and flexibility—Clark Kent!

Krypton's hierarchical order is extremely strict, roughly divided into low-level genes, mid-level genes, and high-level genes.

Kryptonians, created to meet social needs, have their fate determined from birth, their genetic level and social status determined accordingly.

But Clark is an exception. He possesses the complete Life Code and all the genes of every Kryptonian.

"Although it may sound harsh, I still have to say that this is a brilliant idea in these terrible times. Making Clark into Doomsday may not necessarily be more powerful than Doomsday made from Zod's corpse, but it will be much more versatile. And if we add alien elements to this..." Alfred muttered to himself, typing rapidly on the keyboard.

Able to violently activate all dominant and recessive genes in a host and seize the most effective expression, if an Alien were to attack Doomsday, the consequences would be truly disastrous...

"Even if they control Clark and possess a similarly powerful Superman Alien, they won't be able to defeat the Doomsday Alien we have!" Bruce muttered.

"Then how can we get a second Superman? Cloning technology? Luthor has even prepared that?"

"More than just technology, he's already handed me the finished product. That guy is truly an admirable lunatic."

Bruce immediately began preparing for biological experiments. He already had Doomsday embryos and Alien embryos, both created from Superman cells. The next step was to accelerate the maturation of these two creatures.

Once the second Doomsday was nearly complete, the Alien embryo would be implanted into Doomsday's body.

This was the limit of what Luthor and Bruce could achieve in relay mode. As for the second battle between the enhanced Doomsday and the Alien, whether Doomsday would rapidly evolve and develop immunity to the Alien parasite, or whether the Alien would prevail again and parasitize Doomsday like the previous version, was beyond Batman's control.

If the results weren't satisfactory, it would be necessary trial and error. He would learn from the experience and immediately begin a third experiment—just as Luthor's use of the Zod version of Doomsday revealed a wealth of information about the Alien, providing valuable intelligence for Bruce's second experiment.

"Hopefully, this second biological experiment will resolve the issue. Hopefully, Doomsday, based on Clark's cells, will fully activate its evolutionary capabilities during development, eliminating the Alien embryos that have invaded and seized the highest-quality genes... The ideal outcome would be that Doomsday would use the Alien to fully activate the most perfect and highest-quality genes." Bruce knew this was a huge gamble.

There were too many variables involved. For example, what kind of person was Dewar? A god? A demon? Or an alien in human skin? To what extent can he control the alien? Will Duval interfere once the alien embryo reaches a certain stage of development within Doomsday?

This is precisely why Luthor implanted the alien in Zod Doomsday: a test of Duval's ability to control the unformed alien. The results indicate a high probability of failure. Duval even expressed interest in Doomsday's newborn alien.

But Bruce, naturally skeptical, quietly harbored this doubt.

Now, Batman had no choice. Without a quick and effective solution, Duval's power would only expand exponentially. Once it reached a certain scale, there would be no way to deal with it.

To put it bluntly, how could he deal with the hundreds of millions, even billions, of aliens on Earth?

Who would rule the Earth, humans or aliens?

With Alfred's assistance, Bruce, despite his physical fatigue, frantically nurtured the second generation of Doomsday.

After injecting the alien embryo into Doomsday's body, he immediately withdrew. Layers of alloy doors descended one after another, and Bruce and Alfred observed Doomsday's changes through surveillance equipment.

"If things go wrong and Doomsday ignores the alien's pheromones, Alfred, I will immediately activate the freezing system here. Doomsday won't be interested in a common person frozen in sleep," Batman, fully armed, said in a deep voice. "I'm not sure this Doomsday can overcome the kryptonite if it gets out of control. We must prepare for the worst."

  "What about you?"

  "My mission isn't complete yet."

"Come on, I can imagine that if this Doomsday is immune to kryptonite, it might also evolve immunity to your pheromones! Besides, there's no intelligence proving that pheromones work on the alien-fused Super Doomsday, and Luthor hasn't had the chance to experiment; at most, he's tested it on some ordinary aliens!" Alfred looked at his young master.

With the buggy ability of infinite evolution, the second-generation Doomsday could be immune to any countermeasures. No one could say for sure.

Especially if this Doomsday truly defeated the alien and fully activated its superior genes, it would undoubtedly have a terrifying evolutionary efficiency that would reach the theoretical limit.

Even Batman couldn't imagine how breathtaking that scene would be.

The premise is that, in the end, it's Doomsday, not the Alien, who wins.

"You never told me about the second method. I'm guessing that method is even more sinister and also related to Doomsday?" Alfred asked.

Batman hesitated, then said hoarsely, "It has nothing to do with Doomsday, but that method... just thinking about it gives me chills. It's even less reliable than the final plan I came up with on the spur of the moment."

Chapter 198: A World Convergence That Changed DC History.

Batman hoped his first plan would succeed, quickly ending the threat posed by Duval and his crew.

He saw that the second Doomsday had been successfully born. Upon its appearance, it violently ripped apart everything around it, but soon began to tear itself apart frantically.

"...It seems the battle between Doomsday and the Alien isn't over yet."

"But Doomsday is clearly gaining the upper hand. I don't see many traces of the Alien in this creature."

Batman looked expectantly at the frantic self-mutilation of the second Doomsday. He hoped it would win, as it was bred from Clark Kent.

However, even if Doomsday won, Batman had little control over it. At best, he could guide its movements based on some previously arranged strategies.

"If Clark hadn't been captured, I could have used Doomsday's cells to transform him. That would have been the best option." Batman, still resentful of Superman's defeat, prioritized rescuing Superman. Roar,

  Roar, Roar!

Doomsday let out a shrill howl, each wave of energy emanating from his body growing ever more powerful. Its energy circulation system was far more powerful than that of the previous Doomsday.

Gradually, however, the creature's form began to subtly shift, causing Batman's heart to sink.

"Doomsday is still the main body. We have the upper hand," Alfred reassured him. "It's integrating the alien's genes, exploring its most powerful form. Physical changes are normal." "

I hope so. I really don't like to rely on luck."

Batman hadn't finished speaking when another voice emanated from the second Doomsday.

"But you have to do this. You possess a high IQ, but your biggest mistake is failing to thoroughly understand me—the one you consider your most dangerous enemy."

Duval intervened, interfering with Doomsday's evolution.

  "Who?!"

"That guy... But how could that be? Why would his voice be coming from Doomsday?"

Batman and Alfred were startled, their faces filled with disbelief, their heads buzzing.

What was this, a telepathic power?

  But why from Doomsday...

"So that's how it is. Not only can you forcibly select targets and implant aliens, but you can also use all aliens as coordinates for transmitting thoughts?"

Batman quickly figured it out, his face turning extremely grim. "Alfred, have you detected any enemy activity nearby?"

"No, sir, I've been keeping a close eye on the situation. Either they've hacked into our systems through unknown means, or they're simply not near us. They truly possess super-remote control capabilities."

  "That's terrible."

This was Batman's biggest concern. He'd also worried about being inexplicably controlled like Superman. But the entire experiment went smoothly, and he gradually felt a sense of relief. He speculated that perhaps Dewar's control ability had a range limit, or perhaps it was achieved through teleportation, a curse, or something else.

This was why Batman immediately activated all the defenses upon returning to the Batcave.

But now it seemed useless. It wasn't that Dewar was incapable of remote intervention, but he simply had no reason to do so.

"Perhaps, our implantation of the alien embryo in Doomsday has provided the enemy with a perfect coordinate, allowing them to detect our actions in time." Alfred closed his eyes in pain. But if even the Batcave was unsafe, where else could they conduct their experiments?

There was no choice; this entire process was a gamble on probability.

"Don't be too sad, Alfred. I've said similar things to many people: It's not that you don't work hard, nor that you're not smart enough, it's simply that you don't know what you're facing." Duvall's voice emanated from Doomsday.

Doomsday's physical transformation gradually stabilized, and a long tail grew behind him. His black hands also stabilized into a slender structure, resembling a form of the alien.

The rapid stabilization of the once intense genetic conflict further worried Batman, but he remained composed. "It seems you've used me to gain another warrior no less capable than Superman. Congratulations."

"Thank you, you're the first enemy to congratulate me."

The monstrous Doomsday pierced through several gates with its heat vision and tore through barriers with its sturdy arms. With a series of piercing metallic sounds, it inched closer and closer to where Batman and Alfred stood.

Calm and rational, it possessed none of the madness and disorder of the original Doomsday.

This was terrible. It meant that no matter how chaotic a biological weapon, in Dewar's hands, it could become a perfect tool.

Dewar also possessed a means of deploying and controlling alien elements, a method that, at this point, seemed to have minimal limitations and could be used repeatedly.

"Master, it looks like we're going to die here," Alfred said, half-jokingly and half-seriously. "The cryo-tech you prepared for me won't be of any use."

"No, I have another escape route. The cryo-tech is meant to help you escape the mindless Doomsday, not this guy."

Batman opened another door and took Alfred into the cockpit. He detonated the chamber, and the two of them quickly fled.

"What do we do now? We can't escape them."

"Even if we can't, we have to escape. I have a way to change this, but it's not Luthor's second plan. That's too unbelievable and can't be used unless we're desperate."

Batman spoke quickly, steering the aircraft at full speed in a certain direction.

He took a moment to glance at the city below. The massive explosion engulfed the Batcave, triggering a widespread earthquake. A huge column of fire rose into the sky, and thick black smoke seemed to engulf Gotham City.

The city's over 20 million people were startled, thinking another super-criminal was causing trouble and panicked.

"Who could it be this time? Is it the Joker again? I sincerely hope it's a natural gas pipeline explosion!"     "Don't be afraid, we've got Batman! With him, everything will be fine. All we have to do now is wait patiently for Batman to quell the disaster..."

But after a long wait, when the police arrived at Wayne Manor and gazed in shock at the devastating explosion, there was still no sign of Batman.

This was incredibly strange and unusual. Nothing like this had happened in over a decade. Batman's failure to appear in time meant something was amiss.

"Commissioner Gordon, we still haven't seen Batman."

  "I see. I'll handle it."

The elderly Commissioner Gordon looked up and glanced at the bat symbol illuminated by the Batlight.

He knew about the battle between Batman and Superman, and that Lexar Tower had unleashed a terrifying monster, but he had only a vague idea of the outcome. The disaster seemed to have been averted inexplicably, and no one knew the specific circumstances. They could only speculate that Batman and Superman had triumphed.

However, since then, no one has been able to contact either Batman or Superman, leading some to suspect that the two superheroes were either dead or seriously injured and recovering.

"It seems the battle was more complicated than I expected, but even Superman is missing..."

Gordon, knowing Batman was mortal, became even more worried.

"Wait, something's happening! Everyone, be careful!" an officer shouted.

Then, with a resounding roar, a towering figure emerged from the crumbling ruins of the cavern, its steps heavy and ponderous. Remarkably, the figure's first few steps were heavy, but gradually, its form began to shrink, becoming slender, as if it had lost weight, and its footsteps gradually became lighter.

"Isn't this the monster from Lex Tower? Why is it here? It's clearly dead!" Commissioner Gordon was shocked and mobilized all officers to retreat quickly.

Some fearless individuals were about to fire, but Gordon rebuked them.

"Wayne Enterprise, don't you have anything to say? This place is very close to Wayne Manor!" Commissioner Gordon exclaimed angrily.

The Wayne Enterprise shareholders were also bewildered upon hearing the news. They were merely a business magnate, not a criminal syndicate. Why would they be involved in such a shady business?

Another group immediately tried to contact Bruce Wayne, but they were destined to be ignored.

Even if this incident could be successfully resolved, some would still cast suspicious eyes on Bruce Wayne.

But Batman could no longer care. If he didn't overcome the current crisis, the entire world would be doomed.

"Batman, is he heading to Central City? With his intelligence, he can't just recruit allies. I already have the strongest Superman and Wonder Woman. No matter how many powerful heroes he brings in, it's useless. He'll have to resort to unconventional tactics to defeat me."

Doomsday, standing atop the ruins, like a towering iron tower, gazed in a certain direction under the tense gaze of the crowd.

Duval watched Batman's figure, his patience exhausted, and he was ready to parasite him outright.

On the DC side, he still didn't have a single, more intelligent underling to back him up. At the very least, he needed someone capable of taking on the likes of the Batman Who Laughs.

Imagine the scenario: Barbatos, Lord of the Dark Multiverse, World Dragon, and Bat-God, sending his top henchman, the Batman Who Laughs, into battle. How would Duval respond? Would he have to deal with such a troublesome individual himself?

He couldn't just send Iron Man or Mr. Blue over from Marvel, unless they were at least at the Strong Multiverse level.

If he reached that level of power, he wouldn't care about the Batman Who Laughs; he'd already set his sights on a higher level. Every step in between was a pawn in his quest for a higher level.

"The Flash... if it involves the Flashpoint event, let me think,"

Duval pondered, a crucial thought dawning on him.

While the DC Multiverse, within the larger universe of Omnipotence, is a closed world sealed off by the Origin Wall, this doesn't mean it remains static, locked in endless internal conflict. Various external concepts can bypass the Origin Wall and directly integrate into the DC Universe.

Typical examples are the Watchers and Vertigo universes.

On the surface, the Flashpoint event was simply a time-travel stunt by the Flash to alter history, resulting in a new timeline—of course, this was remarkable, but for a being of Duvall's stature, the mere creation of a new history was insignificant.

The Flashpoint event also brought about a more profound shift: the Vertigo universe was successfully integrated into DC. Vertigo's conceptual gods thus became the conceptual gods of the DC Multiverse, completing a conceptual expansion and experiencing an unprecedented surge in their size.

Fate, Death, Sandman, Destruction, Desire, Despair, Fanatical...

these are the endless families of the Vertigo universe. Each of them is a conceptual entity, the personification of a specific natural entity.

Duva was particularly interested in the question of which Flashpoint event had spawned this massive fusion of worlds, affecting the multiverse itself and adding so many terrifying multiverse gods to the DC Universe.

Many of these universes had already experienced Flashpoint events, and without Duva's intervention, the current DCEU would have experienced another Flashpoint event in the near future.

  Or...

"Will Flashpoint events from all universes erupt simultaneously, paving the way for the full integration of the Vertigo Universe?"

Duva was deeply intrigued. If possible, he would be happy to witness this historic event firsthand.

After all, when it came to triggering a cosmic fusion, how many gods in the world could boast Duva's broader vision and greater ability to reach another vast world?

Duva had established bases in both massive multiverses, possessing a deep understanding of both, even knowing many of their secrets.

The Marvel Multiverse and the DC Multiverse—a multiverse-level collision—what kind of changes would ensue?

It would undoubtedly surpass the integration of the Vertigo and Watchmen universes into the DC universe, and even more grandiose than the scenes of the Infinity Family and Dr. Manhattan venturing into the DC multiverse.

  Duva's eyes flickered with madness.

It was fortunate that the Endless Family hadn't officially merged into the DC universe yet. Otherwise, if he hadn't even hinted at this shift in perception, Desire and Frenzy, the two most insane gods of despair, would have caught wind of it and come rushing in. Who knows, the Endless Family's leader, who nominally never interfered with world events, might even escape from the Garden of Destiny.

"Just thinking about it makes me excited..."

Chapter 199: The Last Hope Against Duva, The Flash Reverses the Timeline!

Duva has a clear understanding of himself, knowing that he currently lacks the power to interfere with the profound changes in the Flashpoint event, let alone affect the Infinite Family or Dr. Manhattan, who will soon join the DC Universe.

As a single-universe-level concept god, he lacks the strength to intervene in such a major event. In fact, for the high-ranking gods, the addition of a single-universe-level foreign concept like Duva to the multiverse is of little concern, as the multiverse is plagued by the sheer number of concepts born and lost.

Duva, at most, is a new concept at the level of a cosmic god, unworthy of much attention.

However, Duva has no desire to confront a group of local multiverse gods or fellow outsiders. Instead, he needs to secure a good vantage point to observe the fusion of different universes.

Let's take Universe 9602, his most familiar universe, as an example. Though unknown to the public, even to most gods, it was ultimately a small, yet incredibly secretive, fusion of the Marvel and DC multiverses, offering valuable insights.

Duva knew that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Universe 9602 was destined to split in two, creating two independent universes. These two universes would then return to their original positions: Marvel's to Marvel, DC's to DC.

From its emergence to its split, Universe 9602's existence was destined to remain a highly secretive entity, known only to a select few. It was the combined efforts of Marvel's Living Tribunal and DC's Ghosts that facilitated the creation of Universe 9602 and neutralized the minor clash between the two multiverses.

"The birth and death of Universe 9602 is insignificant to the two multiverses, but the addition of the Vertigo Universe is extremely significant to the DC Multiverse. I need to find an opportunity to observe the entire process up close and prepare for the future..."

This was a madcap move. A single misstep could lead to self-destruction. For Duval, if he let this seemingly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity slip out of caution, he'd be slapping himself.

Duval stared at the retreating Batman, itching to make a move, but he forced himself to suppress it, waiting for Batman to bring him a bigger surprise.

As for Gordon and his group around him, Duval completely ignored them. He controlled Doomsday's body and soared into the sky, disappearing from view.

  ...

  The world was in chaos.

Anyone with access to the internet and a few minutes of news could see this.

"The origin of the biological monster is unknown, LexCorp's stock price has plummeted! What does the future hold?"

"A second biological monster is suspected to have appeared in Gotham City, but without Superman and Batman! " "

Witnesses claim another wave of strange humanoid creatures are haunting the area."

  A global manhunt has begun.

The mysterious disappearances of powerful heroes have given rise to rampant criminal activity, many of which are actually creating chaos to trace Superman and Batman.

Gotham City is particularly hard hit. A large group of Arkham City pros, hearing about the incident, have launched a large-scale team-building event called "Where's Batman?"

"Oh, this is so unfortunate! Batman's gone..."

The Joker sat on a car roof, surrounded by police officers armed with live ammunition, a look of sorrow on his face.

It turns out Batman is truly missing. He even managed to pry open all the locks at Wayne Manor to confirm the truth.

That ever-confident and dark Knight, was he simply killed by a group of unknown origins? The Joker simply couldn't believe that Batman and Superman would be killed by Doomsday.

An unknown force must be involved, and he had indeed found his target. The aliens' activities were becoming increasingly frequent, gradually becoming known to those with a keen eye.

Many brave individuals rushed forward to test the waters, but all met horrible defeats.

"Even if those creatures were powerful and numerous, and could take down Bruce, could they possibly defeat Superman?" The Joker scratched his head in frustration. He'd only been hiding for a short while, and how could the world suddenly change beyond recognition, like the end of the world?

Whether it was the end of the world or not, Barry Allen didn't know, but he knew that if he didn't serve the Batman before him, he'd be in trouble.

"So, you've mastered the power called 'Speed Force,' and have experienced time travel before, correct?" Batman's expression remained as gloomy as ever, which successfully intimidated the young Flash.

Many heroes had heard of Batman, but few knew his true fighting prowess.

A typical example was on the New 52 Earth, where a group of heroes gathered to battle Darkseid. Batman, unable to fly, run, or possess any superpowers, was met with furious taunting from the Flash, Green Lantern, and the rest of the group.

But in the DCEU, Batman, as a veteran hero, with his mysterious and dark persona, still holds a certain intimidating power for a youngster like the Flash.

Batman exploits this vulnerability, peppering Barry Allen with questions in a raspy voice, revealing every detail in a short while.

"Isn't that a bit excessive? If it weren't for the crisis, I wouldn't have the heart to listen," Alfred muttered over the comms device.

"You should know that when you say that, there's a good chance this guy will hear it. He possesses an incredibly strong physique, so it's not surprising that he possesses super hearing."

Batman removed his mask and said gravely, "My true identity is Bruce Wayne. I'm pleased to meet you. I need your help, and the world needs people like you to save it."

"Is Batman's true identity actually that famous billionaire? I've often heard gossip about you."

This gesture successfully eased the Flash's wrath—clearly a move Batman used to ease the atmosphere and build closer rapport.

Alfred sighed, unable to bear to listen any further. Young man, truly too young.

It was a good thing he'd encountered the real Batman; if it had been someone like the Joker, the situation would have been unimaginable. Of course, they certainly wouldn't have been interested in the lesser-known Flash.

"Let me first explain the current situation. If nothing unexpected happens, our world is on the brink of destruction. A terrifying race of monsters has invaded us..."

Bruce recounted the events quickly, practically training Barry Allen to be a savior, which resonated deeply with the young Flash.     "You say it is, and I don't believe you." Barry maintained a superficial composure.

"Superman is gone. He used to be operating all over the world. Why did he suddenly vanish? He wasn't killed by a biological weapon developed by LexCorp, as many people speculate, but was captured by those outsiders," Bruce said.

"What do you want me to do?"

"Do what you did before, time travel," Bruce said.

"If you really are Batman, you should know that reversing time is an extremely dangerous act. Even if I succeed, other unfortunate events will inevitably occur instead!" Barry retorted.

"Yes, I know, but we have no choice. Relying solely on brute force is no longer enough to withstand the increasingly powerful enemy. We have to resort to other methods, starting over from scratch—at least once, we can prepare in advance." Bruce looked at Barry. "You travel back in time and tell my past self what happened here. My past self will be prepared."

"And then, will you be able to defeat the enemy?"

"Not necessarily. If you fail, you keep traveling back in time, learning from your experience again and again."

"That's crazy! I'm not even sure I can successfully travel through time!" Barry could hardly believe his ears. Even he, a recent veteran, knew that playing with time like this could easily lead to chaos. He doubted whether this guy before him was the legendary Batman of exceptional wisdom. He

was as deranged as Gotham City's Joker.

"You'll do it. With my help, you can. I can provide you with various theoretical research on time, and you can use the Speed Force to put it into practice." Bruce remained unmoved, his expressionless face now unusually cold.

Alfred was listening intently. After a long silence, he whispered, "Master Wayne, constantly overwriting the old timeline with the new. That's really unlike you. In the past ten years or so, you've never been so self-destructive."

  Yes, self-destructive.

If the Flash were ever provoked into a desperate attempt to change history, to redeem something, Alfred wouldn't be surprised. But for the calm and suspicious Batman to do so, it was completely out of place.

"The world has lost Superman, Alfred. He's now our enemy and our enemy. I've calculated countless possibilities, but there's no guarantee we can rescue Superman from a monster like Dewar."

Bruce said coldly, "Haven't we already searched every superhero we've ever seen? We've even sifted through the files on super criminals. Is there anyone stronger than Superman?"

"I've got an idea. We can use Lois..."

"Yes, that's an idea, but Lois is just a normal person. The moment she shows up, she'll be invaded by Dewar and transformed into an alien, becoming a weapon against us. Then we'll be faced with the dilemma of whether to kill Lois."

Using Superman's girlfriend and adoptive mother? Bruce had considered this idea long ago, but it was useless and would only backfire. The enemy they faced—Dewar—was completely unlike any enemy they had encountered or imagined before. He was incredibly strange, possessing a parasitic form without any explanation. It

was likely that he was using mental and telekinetic means to invade the host's body, forcibly creating and implanting the alien larvae.

"I've considered deploying a group of ordinary people to wear down Dewar. If we can get Dewar to the limit of his control sooner, then we might have a chance to strike. But we can't face multiple enemies of Clark's level, or even stronger, at once."

Bruce was at his wit's end. He considered the powerful forces already exposed on Dewar's side: Superman, the female warriors from Paradise Island, two Doomsday aliens, a suspected parallel universe counterpart of Superman, and a rock-skinned individual who seemed even more powerful. Add to that the mysterious and unknown Dewar...

Oh, and Luthor, the incredibly intelligent one, who must have become Dewar's lackey. He wondered how much Luthor's intelligence would be unleashed under Dewar's control.

Unless he could quickly assemble six or seven other Supermen to form an alliance and develop a way to defend against Dewar's parasite, everything would be in vain; Dewar would only become stronger.

Barry suddenly said, "I think I understand. That is to say, our world is finished, right?"

  "Exactly."

"We may be... parasitized at any time? Become that alien, and fall both physically and mentally?" " That's

  right."

"Then why are you safe now?"

"Maybe the enemy's control range is limited, or the enemy is observing our every move, expecting us to do something. From common sense, the former is correct, but I guess the latter is the most likely scenario, because they have accumulated enough power to conquer the world, but they have never made much noise from beginning to end, let alone come to hunt me down."

Bruce said coldly, "I have no choice, so I chose you to save everything. I don't believe that outsider can stop the changes in the timeline of the entire universe! Unless he is a real god, the kind of god who can manage a universe!" Barry

's eyes no longer wandered, but became firm: "I understand, let's start now, I will run with all my strength, and try to enter that state again... the state where time begins to flow backwards as I run, and everything is traced back to before those people invaded this universe, and all the results of their invasion will be erased!"

"Very good. I'm looking forward to this happening."

Bruce was silent for a moment, then handed a specially made hard drive to Barry. "You said you could use the Speed Force to protect people and objects from the effects of speed changes. Take this and give it to my past self—even if it's damaged, it doesn't matter. When my past self gets this, he'll know you're telling the truth."

Barry quickly put on his battle suit and carefully placed it inside his own, keeping it close to his body. He raised one foot high, a flash of blue electricity in his eyes.

"Wish us good luck, Batman, and the unknown hero you were talking to."

A burst of sparks and electricity filled the air, and the Flash began to run, but even he himself didn't know if he could successfully enter the state of rewinding time.
