"Foreign concepts entering our world through projection are completely different from the natives who have integrated into this world and are striving to break free in their intact form."
Desaad calculated for a long moment before looking up. "We know too little about God. We don't know what kind of deity he is, or even how he radiates his power. If Ghost can cross the Origin Wall, it means that many beings in Heaven and Hell have possessed the ability to do so from the very beginning."
Honestly, this somewhat overturns their previous understanding and utterly mocks and humiliates the epic succession of gods who have ascended the Wall over the past three generations.
Darkseid was unusually silent for a long moment. Even a multi-dimensional being like him, with immense computing power and immeasurable logical prowess, still needed to think.
He cast his gaze towards the divine realm, towards the very edge of the world, the all-consuming Origin Wall, and even within a certain universe, he had found traces of Ghost.
"This Wrath of God's power fluctuates, making it unpredictable. That's fine, but I suspect it might be even harder to kill than the higher-level gods of the Infinity Clan."
Darkseid pondered. How could he contain the wrath of an unknown god?
Even if he succeeded in tackling the Ghost, what would the gods in Heaven think?
The Eye of God, the Voice of God...
If the Hand of God, the Foot of God, the Heart of God, or something else appeared, Darkseid wouldn't be surprised. He simply assumed that this being had some obsession, dismembering him to pieces.
Could it be that, like him, Darkseid, his godhood had been shattered?
For the first time, Darkseid began to seriously assess Heaven and Hell, the two worlds sometimes at war.
"So, what do you do with your clone that Ghost tampered with? With your strength, can you control it?" Desaad whispered. "Just capture it and bring it into the God Realm and absorb its godhead, and the truth will be revealed. The worst-case scenario is that Ghost will be enraged and fight him."
Would the gods of Apokolips fear the wrath of God? How could that be? They underestimated the New Gods.
Darkseid shook his head.
His clones, unlike those released into the multiverse by gods like Steppenwolf and Desaad, were relatively independent entities.
To put it bluntly, his original form, stationed in the God Realm, was merely a larger clone, possessing the largest share of godhead fragments. This increased share of godhead allowed him to forcibly transmit messages to fragments across the multiverse, but it didn't amount to "control."
This was also why, when Darkseid's clones from different universes came together, they each had their own plan of action, avoiding the frivolous tactics of a powerful clone seeking revenge on a weaker, humiliated one.
A typical example is the encounter between the adult Darkseid clone and the infant Darkseid, like two familiar strangers meeting for the first time. Regarding the Justice League of the New 52 universe, Darkseid used his infant self as a tool, without making much comment.
"No matter what secrets there may be, in the face of absolute power, they are no longer secrets. I have only one thing to do: find the Anti-Life Equation and completely complete the Omega Effect. I want to become an even more powerful god, at least surpassing my father."
Yuga Khan, the leader of the New Gods, was defeated. This means that if Darkseid wants to breach the Origin Wall, he must possess at least as much power as Yuga Khan.
He already has the power of the Omega Effect, and the most reliable way to explosively increase his strength is to find the Anti-Life Equation.
Different multi-dimensional energies may not be harmonious and may even conflict with each other, but Darkseid keenly realizes that the Omega Effect is imperfect, and the missing component is most likely the Anti-Life Equation.
If two energies at least multi-dimensional can be completed, how powerful will Darkseid become?
It's impossible to foresee; even Darkseid himself doesn't know what will happen.
Despite the fact that the gods of the divine realm generally believe that the Anti-Life Equation doesn't exist, Darkseid's search is doomed to failure.
Desaad quietly withdrew, leaving no one to know what was going on in the mind of this second- or third-in-command of Apokolips.
Darkseid gazed towards the multiverse.
"Hmph, a unique clone... Your thinking and cognition have deviated from my original self, so your actions are slightly different from my other selves... Interesting. I'll let you go for now, but don't let me down when I recover all the fragments of my godhood."
Darkseid had a premonition. He was getting closer and closer to the Anti-Life Equation, on the verge of locating it. If he could obtain it, he would be able to calculate everything. Whether human or god, all beings are alive, belonging to the realm of life, and would inevitably be completely defeated by the Anti-Life Equation!
...
Darkseid's patience stemmed from his greater goal.
But the Sandman is different. As a concept god rapidly expanding to multiverse proportions, he exists wherever there is life.
Using the dream power contributed by all beings, the Sandman carves out a new world within the divine realm as his base, creating a dream world connecting all beings within the DC universe. Simultaneously, he sends a portion of his concepts into the multiverse, aiming to adapt and integrate into this vast world as quickly as possible.
"Found it, this is it... The starting point that has slightly accelerated our family's integration. Logically, the 52 universes should have activated the Flashpoint Resonance first, pulling us into the multiverse together."
The Sandman's entry into the DCEU was a minor matter of indifference to the other family members, but the most active Sandman, deeply interested in the happenings of this universe, even discovered a wild concept god.
"Alien..."
The Sandman observed the parasitic race flourishing on various planets, his interest piqued.
He finds talk of new and old gods boring, and angels and demons disgusting. But talk of concept gods piques his interest.
"A completely new concept of God? I wonder where it comes from? A God born from a projection of this multiverse, or a God who migrated from their native universe like us?"
Sandman naturally assumed that the Alien, a concept he had never heard of, clearly new, and expanding, might have only been able to establish itself in the DC Universe thanks to the concentrated outbreak of the Flashpoint event.
In other words, it was thanks to the Infinity Family. "This universe hasn't been invaded by those disgusting gods of Hell. It's very clean."
The Sandman was delighted. With a natural affinity for the Aliens, he randomly selected one and entered its dream.
This moment in the dream, the Sandman realized the unique spiritual nature of the Aliens.
"Is that so? Each Alien's consciousness is actually part of a whole spiritual world? To manipulate the thoughts of one Alien is to confront all of them?"
The Sandman was astonished. It was a brilliant idea, but he couldn't yet grasp the foundation upon which the Alien's master built this unique world of consciousness.
"What's going on? Someone's actually exploring the Alien's soul? And it's incredibly strange. It's not conventional mind control."
Duva was immediately alarmed. If one Alien was affected, all of them were affected. Even if the Sandman's movements were stealthy, blending into the Aliens' minds as part of the dream itself, he couldn't hide from Duva's detection.
The Sandman had already infiltrated the world of consciousness, intent on exploring the alien's mind, treating it as a fascinating game, a way to understand the details and origins of this conceptual god.
"Let me see... this, a creature like the alien possesses such pure and clean thinking? Even the dreams on the surface of consciousness are all the same. Let me see... for Duva?"
The Sandman knew similar slogans. They were the slogans chanted by the demon-like armies of Apokolips in various universes when invading various planets - for Darkseid!
However, Darkseid in this universe had been killed by this conceptual god, and the demon-like demons had been widely purged, which was a good thing.
Just as the Sandman was about to delve deeper into the memory, he discovered something amiss. The deeper he peeled back the consciousness, the more he discovered a massive logical trap constructed layer by layer.
The entire world of consciousness, at first glance, appeared to be thriving, with aliens, living and dead, lingering there forever, but in reality, it existed as a vast abyss of thought.
"One hundred and seventy million linear logics in constant contact, three hundred and ten million self-authentications. If even one of them fails, it means an invasion..."
The Sandman frowned. How could the being who constructed and carried this complex consciousness not have gone mad?
"Are you surprised? For you, breaking through this level of defense is only a matter of time. Of course, you'll need to concentrate all your strength against me. Using only a fraction of your concepts won't break through my consciousness system."
As the entire world of consciousness suddenly stagnated, countless consciousness particles converged to form Duval's figure. He, a member of countless consciousnesses, appeared here to confront the Sandman.
Seeing the gothic figure before him, Duval knew who he was.
It was a problem. He had always avoided contact with other concept gods. The collision of concepts was extremely cumbersome and would only lead to a series of thankless consequences.
And this guy actually came to him?
Duval frowned and sized up the Sandman. "You'd better get out of here, or should I take this as a declaration of war?"
"Declare war...? I don't think you're an ignorant god who killed Darkseid and expanded concepts in a universe that triggered a major multiverse event. So, you're confident you can defeat me?" The Sandman was intrigued.
"I can't, but you can't kill me either."
"It seems you've hidden a wealth of crucial information deep within your consciousness. This involves your origins and background, right? Is this the confidence you need to defy a multiverse-concept god?"
The Sandman was surprised.
If Darkseid's clone had scolded him like this, he wouldn't have said anything, but for a single-concept god like Duval, saying so was worth considering.
Duval truly didn't fear these guys because his base was in another multiverse—at least for now.
To put it bluntly, even if he suffered a severe blow now, was targeted by a multiverse god, and ultimately defeated, to Duval, the loss would be nothing.
If he so desired, he could use Universe 9602 as a springboard from the Marvel Multiverse to the DC Multiverse.
Could a DC Multiverse God like you cross over to Marvel to kill the Concept God?
Only someone like Ghost, born of noble birth, whose actual power is uncertain and fluctuates constantly, but whose existence is so high, and who has the opportunity to reach the Marvel Multiverse, would give Duva pause.
But Sandman? Even Fate and Death of the Infinity Clan? Forget it. Marvel has similar gods. Even if they can't match Fate and Death, who will eventually reach their peak power, it doesn't matter. If Fate and Death dare to enter the Marvel Multiverse, Marvel's super-gods and omnipotent gods will not stand idly by. Duva
can fail countless times on the DC side, and then make countless comebacks.
"Taking your entire native world with you, bypassing the Wall of Origin in the form of concepts, and entering such a vast world is indeed a brilliant idea. Even many gods here are willing to pave the way for your joining,"
Duva said calmly. "But this also means that your actions will come at a price, and you will be confined to this larger world."
"I've heard similar things in countless dreams. Many gods have commented on us in this way. So, you are not confined? This doesn't make sense."
The Sleep Demon looked surprised. "You still have some concepts left in your native world? How is that possible? If you are a conceptual god born as a reflection, you should be an independent, newly born concept adapted to the rules of this multiverse. How could you know about your native world? But if you didn't bring your native world with you to integrate here, then you—"
Isn't this a bug?
If Duva possessed a reliable and stable method of entering this multiverse, wouldn't that mean he was completely fearless?
Not even the "They" of the Endless Family could do this. If they truly angered the mysterious Lucifer or other truly powerful beings, they would risk being wiped out.
"I see. No wonder you went to such a crazy length to restructure your own consciousness. It was to hide this secret. But unfortunately, I discovered it before you became stronger."
The Sandman observed Dua's concept. "You should also know that as you come into contact with more gods and reveal more characteristics, sooner or later, your uniqueness will drive those gods who dream of breaking through the Wall of Origin crazy."
Chapter 206: Operation Thanoside.
"It all depends on who's faster. If I get what I want first, their anger won't help, unless they dare to risk a multiverse war," Duval replied.
Sandman lowered his head, thinking, and instantly understood Duval's intentions. A war between two multiverses?
What a crazy guy.
Sandman felt incredibly lucky. He'd just arrived in DC and discovered such a special individual, in some ways even more special than their Endless family.
He wondered if fate had discovered this guy. No, it mentioned it once before, so it must have, Sandman thought.
"Your words make me think, shouldn't I try to dissuade you from doing this? A war between different worlds would result in the death of many beings."
"The decision isn't mine, but when those guys in the God Realm will discover my uniqueness and when they decide to take action."
Facing Sandman, Duval remained extremely calm and indifferent, even offering blunt warnings.
The Sandman was silent for a moment. "To avoid provoking a war, it seems I'll have to do everything I can to keep your secret until you've obtained what you seek and left this world... Do you wish to ascend to a higher level of god?"
"Indeed, just as you did."
In the Vertigo Universe, these individuals were just so-so, but upon entering the DC Universe, their power exploded.
In time, not only fate, but even death itself, would be able to bypass the Origin Wall, allowing them to move back and forth normally. There were even signs of them progressing from multiverse gods to higher levels.
If a concept god had the opportunity to expand their concepts across a world, the benefits would be immeasurable.
However, after a careful assessment of Duval, he realized that, like them, he had crossed a world, yet the benefits didn't seem to be as significant... Was it because he had only sent a portion of his concepts, while the majority remained stationed in the original world?
If Duval's words were true, and his situation were exposed, it could indeed trigger a war between the multiverses. This would mean that the original universe that gave birth to Duval was a vast world, not much smaller than the DC Multiverse.
"I don't know what you experienced in your native world, but since you're using parasitic creatures like the Alien as your conceptual framework, this will severely limit your capabilities." The Sandman shook his head, unconvinced by Duval's actions.
Crossing a world, through unknown methods and hidden paths, was magical, but the rewards didn't seem to justify the risks.
"My limit isn't the Alien concept, but me. Besides, I never consider myself pathetic," Duval said slowly. "Unlike you, I started as a mortal."
"Not a natural-born conceptual god?"
This truly moved the Sandman. He even began searching the surface thoughts of some Alien consciousnesses in front of Duval, but of course, he found nothing useful—because the only ones who had followed Duval into the DC Multiverse were Hyperion, Thanoside, and the ever-hidden Mephisto. The
other Aliens whose thoughts the Sandman could easily access were the product of Duval's parasitism on native DCEU residents. They were of little value, existing solely as anchor points for Duval's coordinates.
"An acquired concept god, and one whose concept is based on aliens... Remarkable. My impression of you has completely changed. Not only are you a member of the concept god system, but you're also the most special one."
The Sandman was shocked. He looked up and around, taking in this world of consciousness filled with countless traps. He lowered his head and pondered for a moment, then suddenly said, "Before you expel me, are you interested in joining us?"
"Join your Endless Family?" Duva frowned. "That's a bold proposal. Will Fate and Death agree?"
"Don't worry about Death. She's my sister. I just need to convince Fate, and there will be no obstacles. You know, we, the concept gods of the dizzy universe, are nominally a family, but in reality, we don't have the 'bloodline' connection that regular gods have."
"You're not the leader of the Endless Family. It's best not to send out invitations lightly. It would bring risks to you." Duva shook his head secretly. Joining the Endless Family?
It sounds nice, but it's ultimately just Sandman's wishful thinking. Even though they are both concept gods, Duva and the Endless Family follow a different system.
The Endless are all manifestations of certain personalities and states, while Duva is the embodiment of the alien race and creatures. They are two completely different systems.
Bringing Duva into the Endless? Only a conceptual god like Sandman, existing within the grotesque dreams of all beings, could have such a fantastical idea.
But then again, Sandman is a man of naiveté. Otherwise, he wouldn't have interacted with mortals across various universes, leaving behind countless legends. Nor would he have ventured into Hell and lashed out at Lucifer, nearly sparking a war between the Endless and Lucifer.
"Go back! Leave here and go to another dream. Everything here belongs to me. Dream gods are not welcome," Duva ordered him to leave. "If I'm not mistaken, you're still in a period of rapid expansion and haven't reached your true peak. You're still thinking from the perspective of a top-tier cosmic god... you're not mature enough."
Even after becoming a polytheistic god, Sandman still lacks maturity, frequently engaging in naive actions.
"I'll be back."
The Sandman was clearly attracted to Duva, and he was determined to get him. He left reluctantly. If he didn't leave, he was worried Duva would attack him—he was convinced he couldn't lose, but what if Duva was pushed to the limit and committed suicide on the spot, causing a new beginning? He was deeply concerned.
A new beginning meant a greater chance of discovery, a higher probability of a war.
"I don't know exactly what you did. You were able to enter this world with the help of our Endless Family, right? You naturally belong on our side."
"That's a rebellion. It was me who initiated the Flashpoint event, causing the Flashpoint event to erupt across the multiverse, leading to a soft reset of many universes, and thus allowing you to join," Duva replied.
The Sandman left in silence. He needed to think carefully before telling Death about this matter.
"Sleepyhead... I'd better stay away from this guy, or I'll be in trouble." Duva repeatedly checked his consciousness and searched the souls of every alien. After confirming there was no trace of the Sleeppyhead and no aliens were dreaming, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Listen to that guy's nonsense and invite him to join the Endless Family? Is that how it works?
Of course, it's impossible now, but perhaps there will be a chance in the future—in another form.
"The concept god of life and entity, the concept god of personality and existence..."
Duva pondered, envisioning a possible outcome, but immediately dismembered this thought into countless fragments, implanting them in the deepest part of his countless consciousnesses, ensuring that no god of any form could decipher it.
Regardless of how long the Endless Family remained silent to stabilize their power, Duval remained focused on his own actions.
He detached himself from his ideology, pondering, and glancing down.
All the alien heroes he ruled were standing in the hall. Seeing Duval finally take action, they were startled and looked up.
"Is he distracted? More likely he's under a spiritual attack. Perhaps we should have assassinated him."
"Shut up! How dare you be disloyal to the great alien god!" "Luthor, I never knew you were so loyal, especially without those two Doomsdays at your side."
A group of DCEU natives had their own thoughts.
Only Sanoside, having developed a new path, immediately stepped forward.
"Needless to say, I know what you intend to do. I have approved the expedition to the parallel universe. It's also a way to expand your concept," Duva said.
Sanoside sneered, full of tyranny and bloodlust.
"I will do my utmost, risking my life, to conquer more universes for you." Sanoside spoke sincerely.
Everyone present knew he wasn't lying, because it was about conquering universes, not planets.
If conquest was the only thing involved, there were many planets in this universe without aliens, worthy of conquest, but Sanoside refused to mention them.
"My greatest and most sacred master, your servant wishes to learn how to travel to another universe," Sanoside asked.
"Thanoside, your servant knows that the Mother Box can be used,"
Steppenwolf said. He had recently gained a rapid understanding of the aliens, learning many of their secrets. "The Mother Box is Apokolips' most advanced technological artifact," he said. "It's not a weapon limited to this universe. It's fully capable of locating parallel universes and opening sonic boom channels."
"Steppenwolf is right. Go ahead and do it. Don't let me down. However, I need you to go to Universe 3 and conquer the Earth there first," Duval ordered.
Thanoside didn't inquire why. Instead, he grabbed Steppenwolf and left the conference room to immediately proceed.
Whatever Duval's motives, he had no room for resistance. But as long as he could seize every opportunity to hunt more Darkseids, he would soon be able to challenge Duval.
Every hunt brought a surge of power to Thanoside. He was addicted to this game, eager to play.
The hope of becoming stronger, the possibility of defeating Duval, and ultimately, the possibility of defeating Duval and consuming everything Darkseid had in store, all depended on this grand hunt.
"The stronger you become, the more powerful a weapon you'll become in that person's hands," Steppenwolf said suddenly, following behind Sanoside.
"Shut up, you piece of shit! I don't care if you're an independent clone or a remotely controlled messenger from the divine realm. I have my own plan of action, and I don't need your dictation... I know what to do," Sanoside said coldly.
Steppenwolf understood immediately.
The two men began to move, attacking various strongholds on Earth and seizing the Mother Box.
"Form a formation!"
Paradise Island had been waiting for a long time. Whether it was an attack from the new alien race or a counterattack from Apokolips, the female warriors prepared for the worst.
"How foolish! You have no idea what you're facing!" Steppenwolf, riddled with arrows, remained unscathed, even wanting to laugh.
"Our ancestors defeated you once, and we will do the same now! We will never let you take the Mother Box back!" Hippolyta nocked an arrow, this time aiming at Sanoside.
Hippolyta watched in disbelief. She recognized the figure; it must be the master of Apokolips. But then she thought back to the earlier battle in outer space, where it seemed as if two Darkseids were battling each other.
Was this one the victor, but at some point, he had become a follower of the one who commanded the strange creatures?
These gods were too mysterious for her to understand.
"Your struggle is meaningless, Steppenwolf! You lead the aliens to attack Atlantis, and I'll clean up Themyscira. My patience is running out."
Thanoside stepped forward, his hands behind his back, his eyes blazing with Omega Rays, even more powerful than before. He fired continuously, these red rays zigzagging across Themyscira, each shot consistently killing its target.
Soon, the entire island was filled with screams. The warriors' resistance was utterly futile before Darkseid.
As for leaving a group behind to serve as recruits for the aliens…
Sanoside simply ignored the idea: "Duwa has no need for you worthless creatures, so die here, and perish along with the territory you protect."
Paradise Island quickly grew quieter.
Sanoside easily tore through all the barriers and grabbed the Mother Box.
But at that moment, the surrounding divine power patterns suddenly lit up.
"Divine power… Humph, are the gods of Olympus willing to move? I thought you had given up on this universe and were reluctant to send your clones here to die." Sanoside sneered.
This time, it was Ares who came.
Over a hundred years ago in this universe's timeline, Ares's clone had been killed by Wonder Woman, and this time, he was the one who came again.
"I've spotted Sandman roaming around this area and am tracking him. He's not here for you... Darkseid."
Ares, fully armed, helmet on his head, axe in hand, and a slew of artifacts, said, "I nearly killed you once before, on this very planet, in this universe. How dare you do it again... Wait, you're not the Darkseid I know. Which of his clones are you?"
"A clone...? I'm a clone now, but it won't be for long!"
Thanoside charged forward with a snarl. This was his first battle with the Olympians, but it certainly wouldn't be his last.
The violent outburst of divine power devastated Paradise Island. Had it not been for Zeus's protection, the island would have collapsed long ago.
Steppenwolf, already leading his alien army into the ocean to attack Atlantis, noticed the commotion and turned back in surprise.
"I was wrong. This guy won't become the new Darkseid. He'll only be more brutal and bloodthirsty than Darkseid, and he might even kill for fun."
Steppenwolf pondered secretly. However, this had nothing to do with him. Both he and his original self would only follow the most powerful New God. If Thanoside could kill Darkseid, it would have no impact on him.
Chapter 207: Earth Three, Antimatter Universe
. Ares didn't understand the situation.
This universe wasn't particularly special, and its various cosmic rules were rather weak. The only recognizable thing about it was that it served as the core universe of a cosmic community.
Oh, in the minds of some outsiders, this patchwork of universes together formed a "multiverse."
But he noticed a strange group of beings emerging from this place.
"There are traces of dreams. Did the Sandman come here for these creatures? A completely new concept?"
Ares immediately assumed that the concept of the alien was a fluke of the Endless Family's integration into the multiverse, and from the beginning, he didn't take it seriously.
It was just a new concept, trapped in this tiny universe, completely incomparable to a being like him, who was in the realm of God.
As soon as he landed on Paradise Island, he was met with a powerful punch from Thanoside, instantly killed with a bang.
"Is this the only level of the God of War of Olympus? Too weak!" Satisfied, Thanoside retracted his fist and patiently waited for Ares to send another clone. But when nothing arrived, he was disappointed and left with the Mother Box.
Ares, in the realm of the gods, was filled with astonishment.
"What just punched me? It felt like a Darkseid imbued with those biological concepts?"
One punch, and the clone He sent was dead?
What the hell? Even if that Darkseid clone was a single cosmic-level entity, infused with new conceptual power, it shouldn't be this powerful, instantly killing Him with a single punch!
"Ares, it looks like you've lost." Athena, the goddess of wisdom, glanced over immediately.
Ares's face froze. "Don't use your all-seeing wisdom on me!"
But the other Olympian gods all looked over, even Zeus, seated at the top, stared down at Ares.
"I'm not worried about your loss; it's just a clone at most. But the divine power and thoughts emanating from you are disordered, which could give the gods on other peaks undue distractions," Athena said coldly.
The realm of the gods, the Celestial Realm, is the stronghold of the Old Gods.
Every peak within the Celestial Realm houses a detachment of the Old Gods.
Mount Olympus is undoubtedly the highest of the divine mountains within the Celestial Realm, but this doesn't mean the Old Gods of Olympus are invincible; there are still many formidable competitors.
"Thor Odinson, Vishnu, Sun Wukong... these troublesome gods are watching the subtle changes in the other pantheons," Athena said coldly.
The Olympian pantheon has a strong presence in the multiverse and has participated in many major events, such as Zeus's beating of Injustice Superman.
"Ares, tell me what happened," Zeus said from his throne.
Ares bowed his head reluctantly. "In the remote universe that first triggered the Flashpoint event, my clone was killed by a strange Darkseid. It was a Darkseid infused with unfamiliar concepts. I suspect it was an alien concept that luckily entered our world through the Flashpoint event."
"Flashpoint... a strange Darkseid?" Zeus immediately knew which universe Ares was referring to. This remote universe had triggered the Flashpoint of the entire multiverse, which was quite rare. Normally, it would be New Earth, Universe 0, the primary universe, that would trigger such a major event.
But this alone wasn't enough to pique Zeus's interest.
"Darkseid has been quite quiet lately. Even with the Infinity Family joining and settling in Hell, I haven't seen him take any action. Among my many clones in the multiverse, I haven't noticed any special activity from Darkseid either."
Zeus was puzzled. This was unusual.
The relationship between the Old Gods and the New Gods wasn't exactly incompatible, but it was definitely not harmonious. As one of the leaders of the New Gods, Darkseid naturally caught Zeus's attention.
What was Darkseid busy with? A bloodthirsty tyrant going silent was the most unusual thing.
He couldn't possibly be searching for the Anti-Life Equation; such a thing didn't even exist. Otherwise, Darkseid wouldn't have a chance; the gods would have already swarmed over it.
As for the universe Ares mentioned... Zeus didn't take it seriously. It was just a remote universe.
Ares was brooding over it. He had already failed twice in that universe: the first time at the hands of Wonder Woman during World War I, the second time at the hands of the strange Darkseid.
"Guess I need to find a way to leave the realm of the gods and explore the multiverse... That Darkseid is definitely not normal, far too powerful." Ares clenched his axe and turned to leave the temple.
As for Sandman, Ares had already ignored him. He knew he couldn't handle him, and if he came to blows, the consequences might not be pretty.
...
Thanoside quickly forgot Ares and led his alien army on a swift expedition, gathering every Mother Box in the DCEU universe and opening the Sonic Blast.
"Great! I can finally begin my expedition to other universes," Thanoside said, feeling as if he could smell the scent of freedom. "I don't have the coordinates for Universe 3 in my head. Even after merging with Darkseid's godhead, I couldn't find it."
"I do."
Steppenwolf directly entered the complex coordinate data into the Mother Box.
A continuous stream of aliens poured in frantically.
On the other side of the Sonic Blast, Universe 3 was in dire straits.
"What the hell?"
"Humanoids... no, most of them are humanoids, and they look very skilled in combat. What kind of creatures are these?"
"Whatever the hell they are, even if they're demons from Hell, what can they do? Our world is doomed. There's no hope!"
The people of Earth 3 struggled in despair and pain, and the most terrifying thing was the complete lack of hope.
The Earth in this universe was a planet ruled by a group of super-criminals.
A group of villains, led by Speedmaster and Superqueen, formed the notorious Crime Syndicate, or the Alliance of Sin, enslaving the world through wicked and brutal means.
People around the globe lived in dire straits, suffering unbearably.
In this situation, even if a group of strange creatures emerged from a strange passageway, it would be of little consequence; at most, it would only make the already dire world worse.
While ordinary people could observe this development with indifference, the ruling Crime Syndicate could not tolerate it.
The most powerful Speedmaster observed carefully with his super-vision.
"That tunnel should be Darkseid's sonic boom tunnel. What's so crazy about Darkseid that he traveled across half the universe to attack Earth?" Speedmaster's face was grimacing. One of the gods he least wanted to face was Darkseid.
The dark lord of Apokolips was too powerful, commanding an immense force.
For example, these strange creatures were completely new to Speedmaster.
"Perhaps they're testing biological weapons. Where else in the universe could a more suitable testing ground than our Earth?" The Super Queen, incredibly charming and alluring, swayed towards him, resting her hand on Speedmaster's muscular shoulder. Standing on tiptoe, she blew softly into Speedmaster's ear.
"Fuck! This bitch!
" Speedmaster cursed inwardly.
It would be a lie to say he wasn't tempted, but he knew that if he took the bait, believing the Super Queen was willing to have sex with him, he would be mistaken.
Within the Crime Syndicate, the Super Queen was a formidable figure. As the daughter of Zeus, she possessed demigod blood, immense power, and a sinister mind—a true femme fatale.
Other villains also quickly arrived from around the world, many of them still reeking of alcohol.
"You idiot! You're the fastest, why are you always so late?! Look at you now! Have you used all your Speed Force on high-purity alcohol and women?!"
Seeing Johnny Quick's helmet tilted, his face exposed with a distinct lip mark, Speedmaster flew into a rage. He grabbed Johnny Quick by the neck and lifted him up. "I can even clearly see hundreds of thousands of mites crawling in your pores! You bastard, you're nothing but a pool of stinking mud!"
"Oh, Kent... Sorry, I forgot I shouldn't call you that. You killed your adoptive parents when you were seven." Johnny Quick burped. He loved his special alcohol so much that when he wasn't deliberately using his Speed Force to speed up his metabolism, he could fully savor the wonderful feeling of being drunk.
Speedmaster's murderous intent surged.
But the other villains knew exactly what Speedmaster was like. He was merely masking his inner panic with outbursts of anger and threats against Johnny Quick.
Speedmaster's defining characteristic was a tendency to bully the weak and fear the strong. He was as domineering and aggressive with the weak as he was servile to the powerful, his abjectness baffling everyone who knew him.
Of course, since arriving on Earth, Speedmaster had grown stronger through a diet of kryptonite and sunbathing, quickly conquering the planet. Few on the planet could threaten him, so the others hadn't yet had the chance to witness Speedmaster's most awful side.
But perhaps they would soon.
"Action! Clean up these unknown creatures immediately. Kill them all. This will teach Darkseid a lesson." Alexander Luthor, Lex Luthor's alter ego, possessed the power of Zanza and was the most likely threat to Speedmaster within the Crime Syndicate. He coldly gazed at Super Queen, who was practically clinging to Speedmaster, and spoke.
The Super Queen gave a seductive smile and leaned back against Luther, instantly brightening his expression. He gave the Super Queen a sharp pinch on her butt.
Suppressing his anger, he glanced at Luther with a wary glance, then led his thugs in a swift attack, attacking the horde of aliens that emerged from the sonic tunnel like a tidal wave.
Night Owl, Deathstorm, Atom Girl, Grid... a host of super criminals joined the fray.
But the moment they engaged, the aliens' unique qualities astounded them.
"They're incredibly skilled fighters! Each one seems to have undergone years of training and possesses vast experience!"
"Watch out for these creatures' blood, damn! What kind of mad gene could produce such awful blood? The scientist who created these creatures is a lunatic! Everyone on Apocalypse is insane!" "
Be careful! Some individuals are far more powerful than their kind and could pose a threat to some of us!"
The Crime Syndicate was truly enlightened. As the battle intensified, they watched the aliens with wide eyes, assessing them.
Suppressant's eyes glowed red, as if bleeding, and he continuously blasted out heat rays.
Luthor also shouted "Zansha," his hands blazing with light as he used various psychic waves to slay the aliens.
They couldn't finish killing them all, they simply couldn't. Not every member of the Crime Syndicate was as skilled as Speedmaster and Luthor.
"We need to find a way to shut down the sonic boom tunnel. The bad news is, we can't. Darkseid is already here." Grid stopped trying. As Cyborg's fully mechanized counterpart, Grid was a humanoid thinking machine, always choosing the optimal solution.
"Darkseid..."
Speedmaster soared high into the sky, perched atop a shattered building. He gazed down at the burly man emerging from the sonic boom tunnel, his hands behind his back, his body shaking uncontrollably for a moment.
Why, why did they choose Earth? The universe is so vast, with so many planets, isn't that enough for Apokolips to invade?
What the hell are the Green Lantern Corps for? They're just assholes. How could they allow these troublesome creatures to jump through time and space and invade Earth?!
Speedmaster was utterly panicked, cursing furiously inwardly, yet maintaining a calm demeanor.
"Is this Universe 3? It doesn't look like anything special. Why did Duval send me here?"
Sanoside surveyed the Earth.
Hmm, his vision was a little dim. Was it because of the red sun in the sky? This was completely different from the Earths in other universes, which had a yellow sun in its prime.
"So you're a Superman who absorbed red radiation to become stronger. Perhaps you're not afraid of kryptonite either?" Sanoside looked up. He didn't like looking up at anyone.
No one except Duval could make him do that.
Speedmaster lowered his altitude, appearing more awkward and uneasy than ever before. "Respected Dark Lord..."
"..."
Sanoside fell silent. He had seen many Supermen, from the Super Soldier to the DCEU Superman, each more formidable than the last. Why was it that in this universe, Superman's boundaries became so flexible?
Combined with the planet's deterioration, Sanoside had a clear idea.
"Reversed Universe? If it's just at this level, what does Duval need me to do?"
Sanoside pondered. He didn't think Duval would do something pointless. There must be a crucial clue he hadn't discovered.
However, this didn't prevent him from killing this universe's Darkseid. Hopefully, this Darkseid wasn't a merciful saint, otherwise Thanosed would feel sick to his stomach when he devoured him.
Meanwhile, in the antimatter universe, the antithesis of all other universes, a completely different dynamic unfolded.
"I've finally got the Anti-Life Equation,"
a burly god in heavy armor said in a low voice, his eyes revealing a clear wave of emotion.
Chapter 208: The Fall of the Arrowverse. The
Antimatter Universe, with a diameter of 32 trillion light-years, is a truly enormous world.
If the Antimatter Universe were isolated, its size would be the sum of many universes, comparable to the combined total of several smaller multiverses.
This universe's vastness is not without reason: the Antimatter Universe is the antithesis of all other universes.
In the ancient days of creation, before the Wall of Origin, the Creation Goddess Papetua faced constant threats from powerful enemies within the Omniverse and desperately needed a bodyguard. Thus, the Antimatter Universe was born.
The Creation Goddess commanded her youngest son, the Anti-Monitor Mobius, to command the Antimatter Force and command the Antimatter Universe, serving as the Multiverse's first line of defense against all external threats.
Over time, the Creation Goddess's three descendants, united with visitors from the Omniverse, launched a rebellion, sealing the Creation Goddess within the Wall of Origin. Thus, the Antimatter Universe lost its usefulness as a "bodyguard."
The entire antimatter universe shouldn't even exist. Within the closed world within its walls, it's a massive bomb, reacting violently upon encountering anything normal outside the antimatter universe, its existence destined for destruction.
"I won't accept this! I shouldn't have ended up like this!"
Mobius raged at the thought of his predicament, his loss of existence, his very world becoming something destined for obliteration.
In what way was he any less than his elder brothers, the World Forger and the Monitor?
How could those two, one controlling the higher worlds and the other the positive matter universe, remain unscathed after sealing their mother, while his antimatter universe remained in a state of flux?
It shouldn't be this way.
Of course, the World Forger's subsequent backstabbing by his pet, Barbatos, the current Lord of the Dark Multiverse, led to his apparent death. This was the World Forger's own fault, not his!
The Anti-Monitor's most devastating defeat at this point was the famous Crisis on Infinite Earths event. During that time, he attacked the positive matter universe in a rage, reducing the total number of universes in the multiverse to only five—not counting the corrupted, dark, and incomplete Dark Multiverse.
Even this wasn't considered a success, and he was subsequently killed and resurrected by a group of heroes.
But this time was different.
"As I expected, the Anti-Life Equation exists in the antimatter universe and is one of the sources of my power. I've never discovered it, nor have I truly harnessed its power."
A hint of excitement flickered in the Anti-Monitor's eyes.
He had successfully discovered the Anti-Life Equation from the core of the antimatter universe. It was a formula powerful enough to account for all humans and gods in the world and even erase them!
The Anti-Monitor eagerly absorbed the Anti-Life Equation, and with a scream, his already massive form transformed.
The heavy armor he wore warped, and the helmet on his head shattered, revealing his true form.
His entire body became like the surface of rock, dotted with strange cracks.
Indeed, it bore a resemblance to Darkseid, who had also transformed himself after absorbing the Omega Effect.
After learning the structure of the Anti-Life Equation, the Anti-Monitor realized that it was incomplete and could be even more powerful.
The missing piece was...
"So that's how it is, the Omega Effect. No wonder the New God named Darkseid fought so frantically to find the Anti-Life Equation. He knew from the beginning that it existed."
The Anti-Monitor understood, and knew exactly what he had to do.
Kill more lives, use the Anti-Life Equation to rapidly increase his strength, and then confront Darkseid!
The only problem was that Darkseid's true form, while in the God Realm, would never actively enter the multiverse, as this would cause chaos and collapse within the multiverse itself.
Perhaps he needed to first fight Darkseid's clones, slay them all, and amass sufficient power before entering the God Realm to challenge Darkseid's true form?
Without killing all Darkseids, there's no way to seize the Omega Effect.
"When I've slaughtered life to accumulate strength, Darkseid will know, and he'll come to me." The Anti-Monitor's gaze was icy. This master of the antimatter universe, scion of the Creator God, immediately left his territory, striking out once again after countless years.
The entire multiverse would once again bear witness to his slaughter. If nothing unexpected happened, this time, he would become an extremely powerful god, completing the feat of completely destroying the matter universe that he failed to do during the Infinite Earth Crisis.
"Where do I start?"
The Anti-Monitor stood in the Blood Realm, surrounded by a high-dimensional, high-density, high-intensity, blood-red energy flowing like a river of blood.
The Blood Realm, similar to the "supervortex" of the Marvel multiverse, is the region between universes. The multiverse's numerous universes, like black spheres, are immersed in the red pool of the Blood Realm.
The renowned Monitors, sharing a common identity with the Second Son of the Goddess of Creation, possess the most advanced technology in DC, powered by the red energy of the Blood Realm.
The Anti-Monitor initially intended to target the 52 numbered universes. These universes form the cornerstones and anchors of the multiverse, possessing the most comprehensive rules, the most powerful heroes, and the greatest diversity of life,
but they also come under intense attack.
After much deliberation, the Anti-Monitor decided against it. With the Infinite Family newly integrated into the DC Universe, the gods were extremely sensitive. He needed to quickly destroy a few universes to increase his power, rather than wasting time on a group of powerful cosmic gods and heroes.
He turned to the Arrowverse, a cluster of universes offering many weaker universes for his slaying.
"What's going on? Why is there a huge gap in our universe? It's like something split it in half!"
"The physical laws of the universe are also disrupted, and a large number of scientific instruments are failing."
"Here it comes, that monster has arrived, it's on Earth..."
The heroes of the Arrowverse struggled to resist. Green Arrow and the Flash stood together, but they could only watch in despair as the devastation unfolded before them.
"It's too fast! I saw cities dissipating in the light, and countless people died tragically." The Flash's face was pale. "Even if we go to other universes and call Clark and Kara over, there's no time."
In this small multiverse, most well-known superheroes are not in the same universe. To assemble a team on the level of the Justice League, you would have to travel across many universes to barely put it together.
But even if they managed to gather their forces, it would be useless. Considering the size of the Arrowverse, facing an opponent of the Anti-Monitor's caliber was simply too much, and victory was completely impossible.
"Even if we die, we must die as heroes protecting the world. If we don't stand up, who will?"
Green Arrow picked up his useless bow and arrow and rushed forward with his team. He saw the Anti-Monitor in person and received his gaze. Then, he was punched, his body vaporized, his soul dissipated, and everything, including his memories and thoughts, turned into a ball of light and was absorbed into the Anti-Monitor. Every time he killed a living being, the Anti-Life Equation would recalculate, inverting the life force and calculating the resulting mass, adding it to his own body.
The more he killed, the stronger he became, and the stronger he became, the more he killed. This was the simplest and most brutal way to level up.
"Great, great, that's it!" The Anti-Monitor was stunned, completely captivated by this pure and ultimate method of strengthening.
This was far easier than expanding the antimatter universe and destroying more of the matter universe. Even the most ancient being, the Anti-Monitor, was addicted!
The Anti-Monitor completely succumbed to the Anti-Life Equation's logic of upgrading. Who wouldn't be dizzy?
After all, he had always wanted to wipe out countless lives in the matter universe; this time, he had simply found a more powerful way to achieve his goal.
"No, I can't die!"
The Flash broke into a run, but even in the Speed Force, he could feel the Anti-Monitor's terrifying power.
One by one, the speedsters that the Flash had fought so hard to imprison escaped from the Speed Force.
"Hahaha, Flash, I'm out! I'm here for revenge!"
"Barry, poor Barry, I'm back!"
"Roar, roar, roar!"
One after another, speedsters escaped: Reverse-Flash, Black Flash, Savitar, the Racer...
Some emanated from different timelines, while others simply escaped from the terrifying Speed Force prison.
A swarm of time wraiths scrambled to escape the Speed Force, attempting to eliminate any individuals responsible for causing the temporal chaos.
But their playful gazes at the Flash were quickly cut short as they discovered, horrified, that reality was collapsing!
"What the hell, Barry? What have you done?!"
One speedster after another perished tragically, becoming the energy source for the Anti-Monitor.
Even the Anti-Monitor's Arrowverse clones were slain by the Anti-Monitor in a state of confusion, reduced to pure energy, fed into the complex calculations of the equations. Even
the Flash himself was overcome with despair.
At that moment, another red figure emerged from the Speed Force, leaving behind arcs of blue electricity.
"So the universe in this area is being destroyed. No wonder I felt something was amiss with the subtle fluctuations in the Speed Force. But it seems no matter what I do, it's too late."
The DCEU's Flash ran over, astonished at the scene of world destruction before him, but generally remained calm.
The towering figure raging amidst thunder and lightning, a terrifying white light, was certainly terrifying, but no matter how powerful, could it possibly kill Duval and his crew?
The Arrowverse's Flash tried to say something, but only saw the DCEU Flash's regretful expression. Ultimately, he didn't escape with the DCEU Flash, but died there.
"That incredibly fast Flash seems to have something different about him... It doesn't matter. I'll kill him anyway, it's just a matter of time."
The Anti-Monitor's cognition showed signs of being affected by the Anti-Life Equation. His mind was preoccupied with defeating monsters and leveling up, unleashing the Anti-Life Equation's power to its full potential, making him the greatest god within the walls.
Meanwhile, in the DCEU universe...
Duval looked at the frightened Flash before him, a look of sudden realization dawning on him.
"So that's how it is. The Anti-Monitor has once again begun decimating the multiverse, faster than I expected, and he's surprisingly chosen the weakest Arrowverse... probably not wanting to attract too much attention from troublemakers, since the Infinity Family has only just established a foothold in this multiverse."
Duval quickly grasped the Anti-Monitor's intentions.
He dispatched the DCEU Flash to initiate the Flashpoint event, setting off a series of chain reactions.
The smallest incident, magnified across the scale of a multiverse, becomes infinitely greater.
As for the utterly unfortunate Arrowverse... let it be destroyed. A miniature multiverse cobbled together by a bunch of TV shows, sitting in the corner of the DC Universe, neglected and neglected. Even assembling the Justice League required considerable effort. It wasn't worth Duval's attention.
Duval was no saint; he wouldn't obsess over saving every world struck by disaster. He only did what was appropriate.
"Sending Thanoside to Earth-3 early seemed like the right decision," Duval smiled.
Ever since arriving in the DC Multiverse, he'd been pondering how to accumulate enough concepts to reach Multiverse-level status.
This wasn't as simple as simply eroding a few universes. If Multiverse-level status were that easy, it would be far too cheap.
Furthermore, individuals like Duva, who had ascended step by step from the mortal realm, were extremely rare. Unlike gods who naturally mastered concepts, rules, artifacts, and dimensions, finding reference points was even more difficult. Duva had to personally sift through countless clues to find something useful and then apply it to himself.
Now, he had found it and was about to obtain the crucial weapon.
"Thanoside, haven't you always wanted to break away from me? I look forward to your wonderful performance." Duva's gaze crossed the Blood Domain and fell on Thanoside, who was diligently fighting in Universe 3, hunting down Darkseid from that universe.
It was an incredibly dangerous endeavor, but for Duva, it was all worth it.
"If nothing unexpected happens, the Anti-Monitor should be gradually enslaved by the Anti-Life Equation. This time, we should find an opportunity to kill him and send him back to the sixth dimension."
Duval pondered.
The higher the level of the dimension, the more terrifying the power will be when facing "lower dimensions", including the realm of God.
Chapter 209: Declaration to the Entire Multiverse
. The multiverse itself is a three-dimensional world.
The divine realm encompassing the multiverse is roughly four-dimensional, in reality, roughly four and a half.
The higher fifth dimension, the fifth-dimensional kingdom, is a source of immense trouble for countless gods, inhabited by a vast population of five-dimensional beings.
From the perspective of the multiverse's natives, the three-dimensional beings, the five-dimensional beings are nothing more than cartoon characters—of course, this is the result of the five
-dimensional beings actively entering the three-dimensional world without deliberately maintaining a facade. The power these five-dimensional characters exert in the three- and four-dimensional worlds is unimaginably formidable, occasionally even capable of multiverse-level power under certain conditions. Representative figures of the five-dimensional world include the Troublemaker, Bat-Mite, and Superman-Prime—also known as Golden Superman—who successfully ascended after spending ten thousand years in the sun.
The unknown sixth dimension is the most secretive, hidden even by gods. It is the control center of the entire DC multiverse and the headquarters of the three brothers: World Forger, the Monitor, and the Anti-Monitor.
Indeed, as descendants of the Goddess of Creation, these three brothers were born sixth-dimensional beings, inherently possessing a tremendous advantage over all beings below the sixth dimension. By actively descending, they naturally become incredibly powerful gods.
After the Anti-Monitor fell out with the World Forger and the True Monitor over the antimatter universe, he fled the sixth dimension and has since resided in the antimatter universe, protecting his territory and his very existence. This also led to his descent into a powerful god, subject to slaying by superheroes and powerful gods from the three- and four-dimensional worlds.
However, Duvall knew that the Anti-Monitor's "death" was essentially an illusion. Even if he were killed beyond resurrection, it would be useless. If the Anti-Monitor truly desired to resurrect, he could always be reborn in the sixth dimension. He
was killed time and again, resurrected in the sixth dimension, and repeatedly returned to the multiverse and the divine realm.
These three brothers possessed this ability to resurrect indefinitely. As long as the sixth dimension, the DC control center, remained intact, not attacked, occupied, or destroyed by powerful gods, they would have a reliable escape route.
If they couldn't fight their way through the multiverse, they would be forced to return to the sixth dimension and become naturally divine six-dimensional beings.
Most beings in the divine realm were unaware of this fact, and they were completely unaware of the existence of the sixth dimension
itself. Duval, however, knew that above the sixth dimension, there lay the seventh, where a seven-dimensional Superwoman existed. The eighth and ninth dimensions were unknown, and in the tenth dimension, the highest, a terrifying ten-dimensional being preyed upon life from lower dimensions, the natural enemy of almost all humans and gods.
No multiverse god could rival the supreme ten-dimensional being, placing them on the defensive. This meant that any battle against the ten-dimensional being required the expenditure of even greater divine power and the use of more powerful artifacts to compensate for their own dimensional weakness.
Duval resolved to seize this opportunity and defeat the Anti-Monitor.
He watched as the Anti-Monitor decimated the Arrowverse with overwhelming force, his size exploding. Even from a great distance, separated by countless blood zones, he could vaguely sense the apocalyptic aura emanating from the Anti-Monitor, the natural enemy of all life.
The Anti-Monitor continued his search for other universes, beginning a new round of hunting.
Duvall, stationed in the DCEU universe, waited patiently, sensing the Anti-Monitor's approach.
Meanwhile, in other universes within the DCEU, superheroes and indigenous gods had already begun to sense the increasingly subtle cosmic shifts.
Supermen from different universes led their respective teams of heroes, preparing for the worst and bracing for a desperate battle.
By this time, the Anti-Monitor's frenzied actions could no longer be concealed, becoming known to many gods.
The more universes the Anti-Monitor destroyed, the more divine avatars he killed, the more gods became aware of what had happened to him. Word spread
from one to ten, and from ten to a hundred. The divine realm itself became abuzz with activity, with a flood of information flowing through this hyperdimensional spacetime, rapidly shuttling between realms.
"The multiverse is in chaos again. Yes, it's the Anti-Monitor again this time."
"Has Mobius gone mad? He wants to trigger another Crisis on Infinite Earths and destroy the multiverse all over again?!"
"After finally stabilizing at 52 universes, it seems he wants to reduce that number even further. What a villain, worthy of being the master of the antimatter universe. But I like it!"
"He's already wiped out some remote universes. Humph, how ridiculous! He doesn't even dare to take action against the numbered universes. What an ugly display of cowardice."
The Anti-Monitor is quite well-known. Gods of a certain age know that he's an antimatter deity and has been killed by a group of superheroes.
This time, everyone initially thought the Anti-Monitor was carrying out another crazy plan to destroy the positive matter universe and didn't take it seriously.
"Quickly contact the Monitor clan and bring this Anti-Monitor back. I don't know what they've done. The positive Monitor is nowhere to be found, and they let this mad dog, the Anti-Monitor, out and don't care."
Some gods grumbled, feeling troubled.
Right now, everyone is focused on the Endless Family and Hell, so who has the time to care about the changes in the multiverse? They don't even know the Endless Family's style of operation. What if one or two of them are as bad as the Anti-Monitor or Darkseid? The God Realm will be in chaos.
The Monitors have also learned of the Anti-Monitor's actions, but have not made any statement, continuing as usual.
Because they cannot explain that they, the Monitors, have different origins from the True Monitors and Anti-Monitors, the offspring of the Goddess of Creation. In name, they are all Multiverse Monitors, but in reality, they are not the same.
As time goes by.
"Wait, something's wrong. Something's wrong with the Anti-Monitor!!"
"A brand new power... not any known power or artifact. What's going on?"
"It can annihilate all living things. After my clone was killed by Him, His power grew a bit. This isn't an illusion. From what I understand, perhaps someone with this ability..."
"The Anti-Life Equation!"
The entire divine realm erupted in excitement. Gods from every world were startled and horrified.
If the birth of all life is considered a "life equation" that contains the secrets of all life, then perhaps there exists an ultimate formula that can destroy all life.
In the past, only Darkseid believed in the existence of this formula; none of the other gods believed. Now, everyone does.
Even more astonishing, after eons of searching, Darkseid finally found the Anti-Life Equation in the Anti-Monitor. It was truly tragic.
Darkseid was truly in a bad mood.
"Darkseid, are we going to attack the multiverse and kill the Anti-Monitor?" Steppenwolf came over directly, "I can kill him for you and take the Anti-Life Equation."
"In your eyes, am I so fragile?" Darkseid was completely shrouded in shadow. Steppenwolf was silent for a moment. "I'm merely reminding you that the gods of other worlds are ready to make a move. Certain beings in the multiverse have already made arrangements. If you're slow, the Anti-Life Equation will no longer be yours."
"The Anti-Life Equation is more complex than that. Darkseid is observing the Anti-Monitor's performance."
Desaad removed his hood and spoke slowly. "The Anti-Life Equation is the nemesis of all life, including gods. No matter how powerful the Anti-Monitor may be, he is still part of life. Can he truly remain safe while wielding the power of Anti-Life as a living being? Acting rashly against a force you don't understand will lead to disastrous consequences."
Steppenwolf glared at Desaad, disagreeing.
Regardless of whether it could be used or not, at least retrieve the item and then slowly study it. There were plenty of opportunities to find new test subjects. Why did it have to be the Anti-Monitor? Or was there an inevitable connection between the Anti-Monitor and the Anti-Life Equation that was holding Darkseid back?
Steppenwolf retreated silently, awaiting Darkseid's orders. However, his DCEU clone had already been dispatched by Duval to Earth-3 to prepare. While Duval's purpose was unclear, he suspected it might be related to the Anti-Monitor and the Anti-Life Equation.
"Alien God Duval... there's something off about this guy..." Steppenwolf pondered, but soon dismissed the idea. A mere deity from a single universe, not descended from some powerful pantheon, couldn't even survive in the divine realm.
All the gods witnessed the Anti-Monitor's devastating slaughter.
But as Darkseid had predicted, the more powerful the Anti-Monitor became, the more off he seemed. Even the Anti-Monitor himself sensed something was amiss.
"This won't do. How can I waste my time on this worthless, garbage universe? I should go to the 52 universes and kill truly powerful and important beings!"
The Anti-Monitor, mesmerized by the power of the equation, suddenly realized, silently blaming himself. He abandoned the universes before him and turned away.
"He's not coming? I'm clearly prepared. If nothing unexpected happens, he should go to Universe 3 and cause trouble for the Crime Syndicate."
Duva scoffed as he watched the Anti-Monitor retreat.
During the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Anti-Monitor was slightly tricked by Superman. This time, attacking Universe 3 was a way of avenging his past death.
As expected, the Anti-Monitor, having accumulated a certain amount of power, headed straight for Universe 3. At the same time, on Apokolips in Universe 3, Thanosed was battling Darkseid.
Facing Thanosed, who had absorbed a Darkseid, Darkseid from Universe 3 could not establish a clear advantage and was even slightly at a disadvantage.
"Different you possess different levels of strength." Several wounds appeared on Thanoside's body, and blood splattered across Darkseid with a sizzling sound. "But no matter which you are, you will eventually become me!"
"I have developed a completely new mindset, a blend of other concepts... How interesting."
Darkseid was knocked to the ground by a punch, so strong that even Apokolips, the ultimate celestial body in the universe, cracked tens of thousands of kilometers long.
Then came a barrage of Omega beams.
The more fragments of the godhead one possesses, the more Omega effects one can unleash, and the stronger the Omega beams.
The emanating red light eroded the universe itself, destroying space and time.
Thanoside forced himself forward, stepping in front of Darkseid and sending his beams crashing into him. He raised his foot, about to be struck by the divine power erupting from Darkseid, but with even greater force, he broke through Darkseid's divine barrier and landed a kick on him.
The terrifying blow overwhelmed Apokolips.
"You've used a power not ours. The more you use, the deeper you'll be trapped! Sooner or later, you'll be bound by that power!" Darkseid said coldly.
Snap!
Thanoseid grabbed Darkseid's head, exerting force bit by bit. With a series of cracking sounds, he said coldly, "I'm already bound. Might as well make good use of the power that guy gave me and quickly seize more fragments of the godhead! You won't die; you'll live on as a part of me."
Another Darkseid had been absorbed, making him even more powerful.
He was equivalent to at least three Darkseids.
"Great Thanoseid, your power is supreme!"
From the other side of Apokolips, Speedmaster and his men flew over immediately. He trembled and fawned over the ferocious, obviously more powerful Thanoseid.
He was more capable than anyone else in the Crime Syndicate, which made Thanoseid silent for a moment.
"Steppenwolf, learn from this!" Sanoside grinned, his massive hand resting on Speedmaster's head, stroking it repeatedly as if it were a duck egg.
The other members of the Crime Syndicate exchanged bewilderment. It was the first time they had seen their leader like this, but... at least he was alive.
At this moment,
Sanoside's face froze as he received Duval's order.
A powerful wave surged from him, overwhelming the entirety of Apocalypse from the moment he appeared, naturally suppressing Sanoside. Sanoside's gaze flickered, but he ultimately lowered his head slightly.
"Sanoside, the Anti-Monitor has gone to your side. Kill him and bring back the Anti-Life Equation."
"I will obey your command... my master."
Sanoside defended his mind, severing all dangerous thoughts and smirking with a cruel smile.
This stunned Speedmaster, who had racked his brain to frantically lick Sanoside, desperate to survive.
"The great Thanoside is actually a subordinate... He's actually calling another man master?!"
Duva's gaze fell on Speedmaster.
"Speedmaster... This guy will be useful in the future, as one of the multiverse's special superhumans. But even if I kill him, it doesn't really matter. Let's see if he can survive this war. No matter what happens to Thanoside, I will..."
Duva's thoughts drifted away, his focus no longer on these guys.
This battle would be the beginning of his greeting to the entire multiverse, announcing to all of DC... The Alien is coming!
