"It's Universe 3!"
"The Anti-Monitor, suspected of having obtained the Anti-Life Equation, has gone to Universe 3!"
"But why that place? The New 52 Universe is clearly the most valuable in the multiverse."
The gods, eager to make a move, though cautious and hesitant, were closely watching the Anti-Monitor's movements.
The birth of the New 52 Universe was naturally affected by the Flashpoint event. Unlike the Infinite Family's direct entry into the DC Universe, the more hidden Dr. Manhattan secretly intervened, remotely controlling the creation of the New 52 Universe.
At this time, the New 52 Universe effectively overtook the status of the DC Universe—albeit briefly.
The origins of many gods in the New 52 Universe were rewritten.
For example, the New 52 Darkseid relied on hunting and devouring the "Old Gods" of Apokolips—the elemental gods of wind and earth—to ultimately increase his power and become the master of Apokolips.
Looking across the multiverse, Darkseid is truly bizarre and unique.
"Is it because of the Speedmaster? A mere Speedmaster shouldn't be worth this much."
Even the World Forger, the Sixth Dimension's eldest son, believed by the gods of the outside world to be the long-dead Goddess of Creation, cast a concerned eye on the three-dimensional multiverse.
"Even if Mobius is gradually being corrupted by the Anti-Life Equation, he should at least be able to recall that Superman is the core of the multiverse."
World Forger frowned as he observed the changes outside the Sixth Dimension and his most troublesome brother.
Beings of their unique origins must exercise caution when fighting various superhumans. No one knows what Superman, the de facto core of the multiverse, will do.
He dislikes the Anti-Monitor, but considering his mother's escape from the Origin Wall, he will need to use his power. He cannot completely offend the Anti-Monitor, such as by completely imprisoning him.
"I hope He can recognize His true self and stop obsessing over the affairs of the multiverse."
The World Forger withdrew his gaze, focusing on a multiverse he had personally created. This multiverse existed only in the sixth dimension, a retreat he had prepared for himself and the entire DC Universe.
If the Wall of Origin were ever to breach for some reason, allowing the Goddess of Creation to escape and begin destroying everything, he would still have a chance to redeem himself through the multiverse in the sixth dimension.
As for Barbatos, the Lord of the Dark Multiverse who had "killed" him, he was also frantically planning his own destruction of the multiverse. The World Forger simply ignored this pet he had once created and nurtured.
Barbatos's attempt to provoke a war between the Dark Multiverse and the Multiverse was merely an attempt to preempt the inevitable destruction of the DC Multiverse.
But this wasn't a reliable solution to the catastrophe.
As for Duval?
The World Forger had no interest in such an alien, conceptual god. At most, he would pay attention to the Endless Family, whose current power was unpredictable.
"Hmm? Wait, the Endless Family is making a move... Could conceptual gods like them also be interested in the Anti-Life Equation?" the World Forger wondered.
...
With the Anti-Monitor's actions, Darkseid, from the God Realm, finally decided to take action.
"Darkseid, your clone in Universe 3 was also killed by that Thanoside. It's only been a short time, and Thanoside's power has already grown significantly! If you don't take action, he'll hunt more of you!" Steppenwolf, aware of what was happening through his clone, muttered, "Most importantly, the Anti-Monitor is about to arrive in Universe 3! If Thanoside gets his hands on the Anti-Life Equation..."
With the Anti-Life Equation and Thanoside, even more Darkseids will be absorbed by Thanoside. Steppenwolf realized clearly that the invincible Darkseid was in danger.
"Also, that mysterious god who enslaved Darkseid is also dangerous!"
"Shut up! You annoy me even more than Kalibak." Darkseid bluntly compared Steppenwolf to his eldest son, his expression remarkably cold.
But he was indeed preparing for action.
Originally, Darkseid had chosen the New 52 Earth as his battlefield. That universe's clone, currently existing as the primary Darkseid of the multiverse, possessed a larger fragment of its godhood and greater power, fully capable of probing the Anti-Monitor's capabilities and the secrets of the Anti-Life Equation.
But now, Thanosed had emerged, relentlessly hunting Darkseids from various universes, something that displeased Darkseid.
Killing a few more clones wouldn't offer a chance to catch up to the New 52 Darkseid's power? And perhaps even more Omega Effects could be employed? If the Anti-Monitor were truly defeated, the Anti-Life Equation seized, and the Omega Effect fused together...
everything would be in turmoil. Darkseid couldn't tolerate such an unforeseen possibility. Besides, no matter how brutal Thanoseid might be, he was merely a slave of some being! If he allowed this to continue, who knew what would happen!
Darkseid rose from his throne.
Desaad followed Darkseid like a ghost, lost in thought.
Steppenwolf immediately prepared to open a passage to Universe 3. Theoretically, the multiverse couldn't withstand Darkseid's power; the moment he entered, it would undoubtedly be devastating.
The Father of New Genesis wouldn't stand idly by and would take action. Steppenwolf was prepared for this.
But what neither he, Darkseid, nor Desaad anticipated was that the first person to stand in their way would be Sandman.
"You're completely mad! Instead of building your dream world in the divine realm, you dare to come to the territory of the New Gods?!" Steppenwolf said in disbelief.
"I can't let you go, especially you, Darkseid." The Sandman looked melancholy, his face surging with terrifying dream power, permeating the outside of Apokolips, as if to completely seal off this hellish planet.
"As long as you stay here, everything will be fine," the Sandman said.
"Bullshit! Who the hell are you to appear before us? Was this your idea, or the Endless Family's decision? Are you declaring war on Darkseid, or on the New Protoss?"
Steppenwolf cursed, "Are you also interested in the Anti-Life Equation?"
Sandman's gaze passed over Steppenwolf and fell on Darkseid's expressionless face. He said fearfully, "If I hadn't made a major discovery, I wouldn't have done such an unreasonable thing... But please believe me, if you guys take action yourself and do something beyond the standard, it will cause an immeasurable disaster. It will have a huge impact on the whole world. I am protecting you."
Too lazy to bother with the sickly, neurotic conceptual god, Steppenwolf attacked with his axe.
His avatar served Thanoside, while his true form served Darkseid. This perfectly aligned with the rules of the Apokolipsian game: within reach, the stronger prevailed. So, without hesitation, he struck.
Steppenwolf versus Sandman, the two gods engaged in a battle in a region beyond Apokolips. A multidimensional explosion of power shook the boundless expanse of spacetime. Desaad observed for a moment. "No other Infinity members were found. This must be Sandman acting alone. What could have caused such a powerful and influential Concept God, with so many allies, to be so... fearful?"
Desaad could see that Darkseid could also interpret Sandman's meaning.
When these Infinity members entered Hell, they faced Lucifer and other Hell gods without flinching or fear. Why was Sandman so terrified now?
"Is it the Anti-Life Equation, or Thanoside? Or perhaps, Duval, who controlled Thanoside?"
Darkseid pondered for a moment. Whatever it was, a few tentative steps would suffice. He relayed a message to his New 52 clone.
Sandman's battle with Steppenwolf had alarmed the God Realm. It had been some time since the gods of the multiverse had engaged in a major conflict in the God Realm, and the two factions involved were not supposed to have any interaction.
"They're fighting again! When will they change their naive and foolish nature? Does dreaming too much make them stupider?"
Hell, Frenzy yawned, thinking the Sandman was a complete idiot. He'd come back with a bunch of incoherent things. When they inquired, he stammered and refused to explain. After all this time, they still couldn't figure out which god the Sandman was referring to.
"Death, are you going to fight? Your little brother is about to be beaten by the New Gods of Apocalypse. He might be the first of our conceptual gods to die in battle... Who knows if these natives can completely destroy gods like us?" Despair chuckled foolishly, looking at Death with ill intent.
But Death paid no attention to these instigators. He awaited Fate's instructions.
But Fate said nothing, concentrating on looking down at the Book of Fate, lost in thought.
Death waited for a moment, feeling somewhat discouraged. "I don't actually understand what he's referring to, but what kind of disaster could have caused him such anxiety and fear?"
Death watched from afar. Whenever the Sandman was in danger, he would intervene, bringing "death" to the God Realm. No matter what kind of god it was, they were all subject to death!
At this point, Duval certainly had no idea that war had broken out in the God Realm. He certainly wouldn't have imagined that the whimsical Sandman, whom he had briefly interacted with, would make another interesting move.
Even if he had known, he wouldn't have cared, because that's just how Sandman is.
Duval watched the Anti-Monitor charge into Universe 3. "Excellent, that's it. My turn. Anti-Life Equation..."
The Anti-Monitor was losing control. Killing to increase his strength was becoming a natural instinct for his actions. However, because the Anti-Life Equation forced these instincts upon him, it felt like something he'd actively wanted to do. He had a vague premonition of trouble, but for the time being, he didn't actively resist the Anti-Life Equation's control.
"This is where I belong. More powerful gods, more abundant life! And... Darkseid!"
The Anti-Monitor stared bloodshot eyes as he looked down at Universe 3. He was stunned at first glance, realizing that this universe had already been visited, with many strange creatures appearing.
"Earth has already fallen? How did you strike so quickly, beating me to it, Darkseid!"
The Anti-Monitor glanced towards Apokolips and saw the figure sitting on the throne of Apokolips.
His form had slightly changed, but the fluctuating divine power was unmistakably Darkseid.
"Darkseid, I'm here! Kill you, and I'll become even more powerful! Unfortunately, this isn't the Darkseid I truly desire!"
The Anti-Monitor landed on Apokolips with a thud.
The weak Apokolips of Universe 3 could hardly withstand the Anti-Monitor's weight.
He intended to kill the Darkseid of the New 52 Earth. As the temporary "primary world" for the multiverse's brief transition, the New 52 Darkseid was the most valuable and the strongest of all his avatars.
Unless the Anti-Monitor immediately stormed into the divine realm to challenge Darkseid himself, the only way to seize as much of the Omega Effect as possible was to target the New 52 Darkseid.
However, the Anti-Monitor was soon astonished to discover the chaos and damage of Universe 3's Apokolips, evidently having just undergone a major battle, with a vast amount of higher divine power still lingering within the planes of time and space.
Most importantly, the power within this Darkseid seemed far greater than he had anticipated.
"Another loser who mistook me for Darkseid. But never mind, I'll kill you and take my Anti-Life Equation!"
Surrounded by a host of villains and gods, including Speedmaster, Super Queen, and Steppenwolf, Thanoside stood up, his grin mirroring Darkseid's.
The Anti-Monitor gazed at the strange Darkseid in confusion. "Did you admit your mistake? But you do possess Darkseid's godhead, and a significant portion!"
"Shut up! This is the great Lord Thanoseid! Darkseid is fit only to be Thanoseid's food!" Speedmaster stood beside the towering and majestic Thanoseid, his neck stretched out like a stunted chicken, and shouted fiercely.
"Thanoseid? Food?" The Anti-Monitor frowned, then glanced at the Apokolips soldiers around him. There were demonoids, but more were the kind of bizarre creatures also found on Earth. Combined with the broken limbs on the ground, it seemed the demonoids and these bizarre creatures engaged in a massive battle, ultimately succumbing to this Thanoseid.
The Anti-Monitor had a rough idea of what was happening.
"An avatar planning to break away from Darkseid's order? Interesting, but in my eyes, who you are is unimportant; what matters is dying at my hands!"
"Then let's try!"
The two equally sized figures approached each other.
"This is the Anti-Life Equation! I can feel it resonating with my Omega Effect!"
Sanoside was filled with excitement. If he could kill the Anti-Monitor, seize the Anti-Life Equation and the immense energy it derived, he would surely be free...
But the moment this thought arose, it was immediately cut off by Sanoside.
Sanoside's face changed drastically. In addition to anger, he was also a little terrified. He suddenly looked down at his chest.
"No! Wait, you can't do this. I'm only a little bit away. I haven't..."
Boom!
Sanoside stopped in his tracks uncontrollably, and his divine power suddenly paused, then began a frantic transformation, giving rise to a whole new power.
The Anti-Monitor stopped, staring in amazement at the unknown changes taking place in the man before him. In an instant, he was controlled by an unknown being?
"Let's begin our formal conversation, Mobius... Give me the Anti-Life Equation, or I'll send you back to where you belong."
Thanoside, no, it should be Duval, took over Thanoside's body and adapted to the power that belonged to Darkseid.
Chapter 211: An Unprecedented Battle in Universe 3.
In a split second, Thanoside was suppressed.
The three Darkseids, facing Duval's trance, offered no resistance. At best, their struggles and resistance only provided Duval with a modicum of amusement.
"How could this be? I've fought so hard for so long, absorbed two Darkseids, mastered even more of the Omega Effect, and yet, I'm invaded in an instant?"
Thanoside's soul, pinned down by Duval's even greater consciousness, was unable to move. He desperately tried to mobilize his godhead, which should have helped. The godhead was the amalgamation of all that Darkseid possessed, including consciousness, divine power, and laws. But alas, Duval was far superior.
As a god, Duval could certainly use his parasitic power to forcibly suppress the less powerful godhead!
"Stop struggling, my servant. You'd have to be the size of Darkseid to withstand me." Duval's voice echoed through Thanoside's consciousness. "I know exactly what you're thinking. Even if you clumsily control your thoughts, I know exactly what you're planning."
Thanoside instantly fell silent, watching Duval manipulate his body. Duval's unique conceptual power surged from him.
Of course, he wouldn't give up. After all, he was the fusion of Thanos and three Darkseids. How could he possibly surrender? As long as he survived, he would seek ways to escape Duval's control.
"What an interesting ability!" The Anti-Monitor observed Duval, recognizing him as a conceptual god unlike those of the Infinity Family.
"You might not know, but even the real Darkseid wouldn't dare to speak to me with such confidence," the Anti-Monitor said.
Duval familiarized himself with Thanoside's body, focusing on attempting to forcefully harness Darkseid's godhood and harness the power of the Omega Effect. He nodded earnestly, "You're right, but that only happened before the Flashpoint event. You're not as powerful as you think."
Flashpoint had profound implications for the entire DC Multiverse. On
the surface, a soft reboot of the multiverse overwrote the previously progressing histories of many universes, creating a seemingly unrealistic shift. The heroes and villains caught in the midst of this transformation were unaware of the alteration. On a
deeper level, the Infinity Family, along with the Vertigo Universe, merged into the DC Universe, dramatically increasing DC's size. Dr. Manhattan from the Watchmen Universe also used this opportunity to observe DC and secretly conduct dangerous experiments.
Duval was even more aware that every deity in the multiverse had been affected by Flashpoint, their own origins and histories distorted.
Darkseid of the New 52 universe is a prime example. Similarly, the Anti-Monitor, having long ceased to be a six-dimensional being, and reduced to the multiverse, is even less immune to this influence.
The Anti-Monitor after Flashpoint is significantly weaker than he was before!
The mighty Anti-Monitor, armed with the Anti-Life Equation and harvesting vast quantities of life forms from countless universes, can only manage a 60-40 match against the New 52 Darkseid at full strength... utterly unbelievable.
Had the Anti-Monitor remained a six-dimensional being, Flashpoint wouldn't have weakened him to such an extent, nearly defeating even Darkseid's clones.
Furthermore, the Anti-Monitor's current harvest hasn't reached its peak, forcing him to abandon the Anti-Life Equation, even at the cost of his own life.
"A strange god... dwelling in a narrow world, dreaming wildly, yet completely ignorant of the horrific truth, lost in a world of imagination, perhaps you should become a god of imagination."
The Anti-Monitor stepped forward, emanating a vast amount of anti-life force, mowing down the nearby demonic and alien forces. He then proceeded to target other planets near Apocalypse, beginning a remote slaughter.
Quickly mastering the power of this body, Duva said calmly, "Unfortunately, the fifth dimension won't accept a conceptual god like me. There's already a God of Dreams in the world, so there's no room for me." The
fifth dimension is one imbued with the power of imagination, and the cartoon characters of the fifth-dimensional kingdom must demonstrate their strength through imagination.
The two burly figures clashed, the ripples of their fierce confrontation instantly shaking Apocalypse beneath their feet. Horrible cracks spread across the vast, solid planet, gradually penetrating into the Earth's core.
A massive eruption of magma, the very laws that govern Apocalypse's existence, were now distorted and destroyed by the confrontation between the two supreme gods.
Apokolips was rapidly collapsing.
Steppenwolf had immediately fled into the depths of space. He was a new entity formed by the fusion of Steppenwolf from the DCEU universe and Steppenwolf from Universe 3. While a single god, he was far inferior to Thanoside and the Anti-Monitor. On a battlefield of this magnitude, he wasn't even qualified to intervene.
This devastating scene completely terrified Superman and his companions. These villains, who only knew how to bully others on Earth, had never seen anything like this before.
"Power! This is power!"
Alexander Luthor dodged the stray impact, trying his best to avoid being blasted to death, while gazing at the two battling gods with a fiery gaze. "If only I could possess this power..."
Luthor, possessing the most brilliant mind in the universe, quickly pondered this possibility.
Originally, if Thanoside hadn't appeared, they would have simply faced the Anti-Monitor and surrendered. This would have given him ample time to formulate a plan to seize the Anti-Life Equation and the opportunity to test the Anti-Monitor's strength and the characteristics of the Anti-Life Equation.
Unfortunately, everything had happened so quickly. From Thanoside's cross-border attack on Earth, carried out under Duval's orders, to their relentless campaign against Apokolips,
"I didn't even know Thanoside's ultimate goal was to defeat the Anti-Monitor and seize the Anti-Life Equation, much less that Thanoside was merely a servant serving his mysterious master!" Luther suppressed his greed and fear, fully harnessing the power of the Zansha within him. He harnessed the strength of six gods to protect himself.
He watched coldly as Speedmaster fled like a dog, but after recognizing his true character, Zansha truly considered Speedmaster worthless.
"I know what you're thinking. I can help you!" Night Owl was terrified. Coming from Gotham City's Court of Owls, he lacked much strength and would surely perish if caught in the crossfire. He could only shout at Luther.
Luther thought for a moment, then took this relatively intelligent individual under his wing and protected the Super Queen as well.
"I knew you couldn't forget me." The Super Queen was sweating all over, but she didn't forget to flirt with Luther.
Luther thought for a moment, looked at the coquettish Super Queen, and suddenly said: "If you can get through this time, I need you to repay me well."
"Of course, I will make you satisfied." The Super Queen naturally misunderstood, thinking that it would be the same as before.
Luther's mind raced, watching the two gods clash frantically from afar.
At this moment, the Anti-Monitor was filled with astonishment and anger.
"How could someone like you actually stop me?!"
Incredulous, the Anti-Monitor punched Sanoside's head, but was also struck by an Omega ray.
A torrent of anti-life force, carrying the power to annihilate all life, washed over Duva's body, but it was far from enough to defeat him. "You're not even a god from the Mainworld. I don't know which universe you came from, how can you be so powerful?!" the Anti-Monitor was stunned.
"I told you, you're weaker now than you've ever been! Do you think you're invincible just because you've obtained the Anti-Life Equation? Stop kidding, and get back to your own world!"
Duval controlled Thanoside's body, using it recklessly, completely unconcerned about the damage it sustained. He built it up as much as he could, never flinching from the chance to trade a serious injury for a minor one. He would always face it head-on.
Three Darkseids combined with Duval's strength were more than enough to defeat the weakest Anti-Monitor since the construction of the Origin Wall.
Brilliant divine light pounded the very fabric of the universe, and finally, Apokolips beneath them could no longer bear the weight. Under this constant and terrifying pressure, it uttered a final wail and instantly collapsed, turning to cosmic dust.
Luthor used the power of Zansha to create an energy field to protect against the oxygen-depleted, radiation-inducing, and freezing atmosphere of the vacuum of space.
Speedmaster could survive in space for a while, so there wouldn't be any problems for a short period.
Johnny Quick simply ran into the Speed Force tunnel, temporarily escaping the real dimension. But he was the most dangerous. He was merely an alter ego of the Flash, not the Flash himself.
"Fortunately, I have the Power Ring. Survival in the universe is a fundamental ability."
Power Ring glanced at the ring in his hand, a look of relief on his face. He watched Deathstorm, Atom, Grid, and the others vanish in the divine light, and breathed a sigh of relief. Then he remembered that Grid might not die. He was just a machine program that had completely consumed Cyborg.
"Power Ring, give me your ring!" Speedmaster flew over in panic.
"What, me?"
Power Ring retreated timidly. "No, no, if I give it to you, I won't..."
"Then you die. I'm not negotiating with you, I'm informing you of the outcome!"
Speedmaster unleashed what was arguably the most powerful attack of his life. With one punch, he pierced Power Ring's energy barrier. With his other hand, he grasped Power Ring's hand and tore it off, ring and hand alike.
The Power Ring screamed. Without the protection of the Lantern Ring's power, it instantly froze in the cosmic chill, perishing.
Speedmaster frantically yanked the Ring off and placed it on his own finger.
"Carl Lyle from Earth, welcome to the ranks of the cowardly,"
the Ring instantly sent a message to Speedmaster's mind.
"Shit, you're the coward! I'm not that self-deprecating idiot of the Power Ring!" Speedmaster cast a green barrier around himself, feeling instantly at ease. Hearing that he had been recognized and chosen by the Ring, his defenses instantly shattered.
This meant that within the Ring's selection mechanism, Speedmaster, mired in fear and timidity, had become a qualified wearer.
Even if Speedmaster approached the Ring instead of seizing it, the Ring would likely abandon the Ring and choose him.
"Speedmaster's desperate enough to even need the Ring just to survive," Luther observed from a distance, chuckling disdainfully.
Only the fearful and cowardly are worthy of wearing the Ring of Authority. Once worn, its power will steadily erode the wearer, making them even more fearful and cowardly, forming a vicious cycle where the Ring becomes increasingly useless with each wearer, until it chooses a new wearer and detaches itself.
However, the Ring of Authority is truly useful. With imagination and sufficient fear, the wearer can unleash its all-purpose power, allowing them to easily survive in the universe for extended periods.
Most importantly, since the Flashpoint incident, Universe 3 has been soft-reset, with a new, seemingly unrealistic history overwriting the past. The Ring of Authority is no longer what it once was, or like the Lantern Rings of other universes, which required a dedicated Lantern Furnace to regularly recharge it.
The Ring of Authority is a fusion of Lantern Ring and Furnace!
And most importantly, within the Ring resides Universe 3's first Lantern, Huo Rong. This first Lantern, theoretically capable of wielding any type of ring, is closely observing the war unfolding outside.
The outside world.
Luther knew what Speedmaster was thinking. He simply wanted to don the ring to ensure his long-term survival. No one knew how long the battle between the two terrifying gods would end, and the destruction of more planets was highly likely. This meant that without special means, the survivors would face a long period of difficulty replenishing their energy. Without
the ring, Speedmaster would have to rely on flying alone, exhausting himself to death before finding a suitable planet.
But with the Power Ring, things were different. The Lantern could harness the energy from all the rings, covering the "emotional spectrum" of countless worlds, moving faster and faster, and soon spanning countless galaxies.
As for the tragic death of the Power Ring? Who cared?
"Luther, what should we do? Can't we find a way back to Earth first? It's far away, and we'll be safe there," Super Queen urged hurriedly.
Night Owl looked at Luther meaningfully.
The two wise men exchanged a glance.
Luther said coldly, "I have my own plan. If we return to Earth now, everything will be nullified."
"Do we have to stay here? What if the god who controls Sanoside and that monitor kill us all with a single blow?" The Super Queen was truly anxious. What else was she waiting for?
Luther looked at her grimly, "I hope you're using your mouth for business, not to question me! Even if you escape back to Earth, what then? Are you confident you can face the victorious Alien God, or the Anti-Monitor? If we stay here, we might be able to defect to the victor immediately. If we wait for the victor to come to Earth to find us, that would be the end of us!"
"Now it all depends on who wins, and we have to be lucky enough not to be killed here," Night Owl said in a low voice.
If possible, they all hoped the Anti-Monitor would win.
Because the Anti-Monitor's power was visible.
But the Alien was different. Through parasitic means, it perfectly enslaved all beings and could even rip their host's strength away by ripping it apart. Now, it had instantly taken away all of Sanoside's accumulated power, consuming it at will with a frenzied attitude. The Crime Syndicate had never seen the Alien God in person.
Chapter 212: Dark Walker, It's Time to End.
The Anti-Monitor was shocked by the strange methods of the mysterious god before him, and even more furious at his own performance.
Why, why was he so weak?
Since his resurrection, he had been in the antimatter universe. He had finally obtained the Anti-Life Equation, but why was his combat power so "disgraceful" in actual combat?
"This is impossible! Absolutely impossible! I am the Anti-Monitor, I am stronger than any god!!"
The Anti-Monitor was strangely furious and uneasy. Roaring in anger, he frantically activated the Anti-Life Equation. By shattering Apocalypse and slaughtering countless life forms, he indeed gained more power from the equation.
But again, it was not enough.
"Still refusing to accept reality? Long separated from your homeworld, you're growing weaker with each multiverse evolution."
Duval confronted the Anti-Monitor, genuinely surprised by his power. The Anti-Monitor was at his weakest point. He had abandoned his six-dimensional life form, his status as the master of the antimatter universe, and the Möbius Chair, which could instantly transform a person into a god of knowledge. He had devoted himself entirely to the Anti-Life Equation, believing it would make him even more powerful than ever.
The result was quite the opposite.
Even with these debuffs, the Anti-Monitor remained the oldest god in the multiverse. Facing Duval, who had reached his individual limit, he maintained his formidable combat power.
"Long separated from your homeworld... So you weren't referring to my antimatter universe from the beginning!"
The Anti-Monitor's face was filled with astonishment. For a moment, his Anti-Life Force failed to maintain peak output, giving Duval the opportunity to fire an Omega Beam, clearing the way for him and slamming into Thanoside.
Completely disregarding the potential devastation to the godhead within Sanosed
, he delivered a resounding punch, a blow that shook the entire Universe 3, brewing immense divine power. Within the vacuum of the universe, it sent the Anti-Monitor flying and shattered nearby stars.
"What else? The antimatter universe is your home base, but it's not your origin. I know, I know everything, but that doesn't stop me from destroying you."
Duva erupted with a mighty divine light, violently eroding the layers of space and time around him, causing the entire universe to tremble under this force. With his current size, he even exceeded the carrying capacity of this universe. Wherever Duva passed, time fractured, space shattered, and the laws of nature warped. Horrifying rifts spread everywhere.
With a crash!
A continuous stream of blood-red energy flowed through these ever-expanding cracks into Universe 3.
This was the high-dimensional energy of the Blood Realm, powerful enough to wreak havoc on the three-dimensional space-time within a single universe.
Normally, if Duval had stopped immediately, the universe would have obeyed the laws of creation, rapidly repairing the damage and blocking the influx of Blood Domain energy. But alas, Duval had no intention of stopping.
If he didn't take down the Anti-Monitor now, the future would only become increasingly troublesome, with more gods intervening to seek the Anti-Life Equation.
This was absolutely unacceptable. Duval was determined to obtain the Anti-Life Equation.
He had envisioned numerous plans to advance to the multiverse, such as obtaining the Miracle Wishing Machine from the 31st century in the Main World. Using the Miracle Wishing Machine's power would fuel Duval's subsequent actions and ultimately lead to his successful advancement to the multiverse.
However, now that he had the opportunity to seize the Anti-Life Equation, Duval no longer needed to plan for the Miracle Wishing Machine. Unless he obtained the
Anti-Life Equation and confirmed that it would not allow him to advance any further, Duval's voice transcended all time and space, echoing throughout the universe.
This was a higher message, a transmission beyond time and space, and the true words of the gods.
"Dream on! Although I don't know where you come from and how long you have been lurking in secret to collect information about me, you simply don't have the ability to kill me quickly in such a short period of time!"
The Anti-Monitor immediately flew back, like a black hole, and collided with Duval again with a bang. In an instant, countless powers erupted, and endless ripples spread to the entire universe with the two of them as the core. Countless planets trembled violently in this storm.
"This means that as long as I continue to fight you, destroying more planets and killing more lives in battle, I will become stronger and stronger! I will continue to grow stronger, eventually surpassing my strongest form!"
The Anti-Monitor and Duval exchanged blows. The more frantically he attacked, the more planets he shattered, the more clearly he could feel the power slowly rising within him. He roared excitedly, "Although I'm far inferior to my past, I'm definitely in my most powerful form! I will grow stronger bit by bit, eventually surpassing you completely and killing you! You're just a pebble in my path; I'll soon be over you!"
The Anti-Monitor was already thinking about the power he would gain from the Anti-Life Equation if he killed a powerful god like Duval.
Then, he would be able to hunt even more gods, destroy even more universes and dimensions, surpassing his own self as the master of the antimatter universe during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, and even surpassing his own six-dimensional existence from the very beginning!
"Indeed, you are worthy of being the creator of the Mobius Chair. You could even be considered the previous generation's 'God of Knowledge,'" Duval nodded earnestly.
If he continued on this path, the Anti-Monitor would indeed surpass countless powerful gods, reaching the end of the world.
But unfortunately, this was unrealistic.
"Logically, you would destroy all 52 universes, achieving something you failed to accomplish during Crisis on Infinite Earths, and annihilate countless unnumbered cosmic communities. Billions of life forms would perish at your hands, and through the calculations of your equations, they would ultimately become food for your growing power."
Duval's body ripped apart with horrific wounds, but he paid no mind. He bombarded the Anti-Monitor's body again and again, unresponsive to the shattering of each planet, constantly exploiting its value.
The size of three Darkseids and one Thanos, in his hands, was a completely insignificant consumable, disposable after a certain amount of use.
"This body can still be used for a while." Duval looked at the battered form, sensing even its declining healing speed, and nodded secretly, pondering how to force the Anti-Monitor.
Thanoside watched the scene with frustration. His body, the strength he had accumulated through hard battles, serving Duval, and killing two Darkseids, was being cheaply consumed by Duval... This wasn't supposed to be this way. "I don't understand why. If you want to kill the Anti-Monitor, just give me a little time. I can kill more Darkseids, universe by universe, and eventually even the Darkseid of the main universe. I will become even stronger, and then killing the Anti-Monitor will be a piece of cake. Why are you wasting my strength in this way?!"
Thanoside was extremely frustrated. He had never been so angry and wronged before.
But Duval would not listen to his nagging. His actions were carefully selected for the right opportunity. If he didn't strike decisively, he would likely miss it.
Any later, and the Anti-Monitor would react and realize that he was being gradually controlled by the Anti-Life Equation, it would be too late for Duval. Now was just the right time.
The battle between Duval and the Anti-Monitor officially reached a fever pitch. Duval spoke, "If you can achieve my vision, that's excellent. It means every universe in the multiverse has entered your body. You'll naturally be the antithesis of the multiverse, and you'll be incredibly powerful."
"That's right. Not just the multiverse, but even the ones in the God Realm will be lining up for me to slay. Only with their deaths can I become better!"
The Anti-Monitor never cared about the fate of the world within the walls, let alone the many universes. As the master of antimatter, he considered the task of slaying the world of matter a primary mission. He wanted to prove himself superior to his elder and second brothers, more deserving of greater power, territory, and value than they were.
As for the God Realm?
Ha, those damn gods, they'd better all die. After Mother escapes, these gods accumulated over three generations will become her food and weapons to wield against the Omniverse. It's better for them all to die from the start, becoming part of the formula's calculations, strengthening my power, the Anti-Monitor thought.
He was well aware that despite the immense strength of the Origin Wall, over the past three generations, aside from attracting more gods to the wall, making it even stronger, there had been no signs of instability.
However, judging by the infinite passage of generations, it was only a matter of time before the goddess of creation, Papetua, escaped.
The Anti-Monitor had keenly noticed the existence of a being named "Superman," whose influence on the multiverse was unprecedented and beyond imagination. Superman had become the absolute core of the world within the wall.
Although the Anti-Monitor didn't yet know that the entire DC universe depended on Superman for its survival and stability, this didn't prevent him from feeling anxious, realizing that the Third Generation was completely different from the previous two.
With a core, could the Origin Wall still be indestructible?
What would happen if the core of the core, Superman from the Main World, attacked the Origin Wall? It would be like the world within the wall itself sending an absolute aggregate to attack the mysterious sum total represented by the Origin Wall. What would the outcome then be?
Even if nothing happened, this was still the Third Generation. What would happen next? What about the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Generations? Who knows what will emerge?
The Anti-Monitor's anxiety grew with each passing day. He couldn't rely on his six-dimensional identity to confront his terrifying Mother, because he, a six-dimensional being, was a higher life form nurtured by Papetua. An antimatter universe? That was even more ridiculous. The Möbius Chair he had created was even more insignificant.
There was only the Anti-Life Equation.
"That's right, Mother created this world to create countless biological weapons to fight the Omnipotent Universe! Even he relies on the world he created. If I transform all life into my energy and use it against Mother, I will surely defeat her!"
The Anti-Monitor came up with an impeccable logic. The more he thought about it, the more excited he became, becoming even more absorbed in the calculations of the Anti-Life Equation.
He, too, was becoming increasingly eroded by the Anti-Life Equation, finding it increasingly difficult to control his actions. The power within him spontaneously began to seek out all living things, carrying out widespread extermination.
At this point, Duval spoke up. "Perhaps you don't know, but I know of a similar being. He's practically the antithesis of the entire multiverse, a more powerful deity than any other. He's called 'Annihilation.'"
"Annihilation? Never heard of him,"
the Anti-Monitor scoffed, believing it was a crude lie, or perhaps a deity born from the mysterious deity's native world, a mere insignificant cosmic community.
"But you can never be the next Annihilation. Your power lies in the Anti-Life Equation. You gain power proportional to how many lives you kill. This formula is too unfair. Even if you kill all the people and gods, what good will that do? The equation's upper limit is your upper limit. The total amount of life determines the equation's upper limit."
This meant that even if the Anti-Monitor reached his full potential, he could never surpass Annihilation!
Annihilation was the most powerful of Marvel's Creation Gods, the opposite of the combined power of Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Galactus, and towering over countless other gods.
"Foolish rhetoric! I don't know where your confidence comes from, but you know nothing about the true nature of this world, let alone the importance of what I'm doing! If I don't, a god will surely do it, and it will be even more cruel than mine!" The Anti-Monitor roared. "Death by my hands is your luck!"
Duval remained silent, pondering. He felt the time was almost up. Any further delay might provoke those in the God's Realm to take action.
Then...
A swish!
Spacetime, already riddled with cracks, suddenly ripped open an even larger gap.
A black figure, carrying a powerful aura of death, arrived across the universe at incredible speed, launching an assassination attack.
"Finally, you've arrived! That's right! Darkseid shouldn't remain silent. Whether it's Darkseid himself or the New 52 Darkseid, they must do something to make my wait worthwhile."
Duval looked at the terrifying god before him, known as the "God of Death," and also the most powerful weapon secretly enslaved by the New 52 Darkseid—Darkseid!
"Well, this show game can end here. Everything ends here, and I should be a little more serious..."
Duva's words had barely left his lips.
A figure emanating a powerful aura quickly joined the fray.
The ever-hidden Mephisto, a demon at the very edge of a single universe, joined the fray at Duva's command.
The Hyperion also stood ready.
Chapter 213: Anti-Monitor Dies Again.
The battle within the multiverse is certainly eye-catching, involving many matters of concern to the gods.
"The Anti-Monitor has obtained the Anti-Life Equation, but his performance is a bit weak. Is it because he's killed too few lives? The more he kills, the more power he gains?"
"Then how long will it take for him to regain his original strength?"
Few people know that the Anti-Monitor was originally a six-dimensional lifeform. The gods' understanding of the Anti-Monitor mainly stems from the Crisis on Infinite Earths, when the Anti-Monitor decimated the multiverse, reducing it to just five.
"The guy fighting the Anti-Monitor, Darkseid, is acting strangely. He suddenly unleashed a special power... similar to the many biological weapons that invaded Universe 3, but on a far greater level of power."
Some gods, in turn, have taken a keen interest in the alien. They have realized that this "Darkseid" has been controlled and enslaved, now a mere weapon wielded by some unknown god.
When did such a god appear within the multiverse? A god of a certain race?
"Dimensional monsters? Bioweapons? Or something else?"
But they quickly averted their gaze, gazing at the increasingly fierce battle on Apokolips, deep within the divine realm.
Steppenwolf's battle with Sandman was incredibly difficult; Sandman's strength truly exceeded his expectations.
"You wretch..." Steppenwolf's face darkened, his grip on the axe tightening.
"Back off! Whatever happens within the multiverse won't affect your position on Apokolips. Why do you insist on intervening there?"
Still with that melancholic air, Sandman sighed. "Besides, as I've already said, I'm essentially protecting you by stopping you from causing a greater catastrophe."
"What the hell..." Steppenwolf began to curse.
Darkseid's true form, remaining impassive, suddenly spoke, "If I attack that Duval, will it trigger a war that will ripple through the multiverse?"
"Yes, that's what I'm saying." Sandman eyed Darkseid fearfully.
Even though the Darkseid before him wasn't fully formed, merely a large fragment of his godhead, Sandman still wasn't confident of defeating him.
This rock-giant being put too much pressure on him.
However, if blocking the door could delay these beings from attacking Duval, thereby preventing the full exposure of the other multiverse, Sandman would persist in blocking Apokolips and preventing these dangerous New Gods from interfering in the multiverse's battle.
"Hmph, interesting! That guy controlled one of my clones and inexplicably appeared in my field of vision. I was initially puzzled, but now..."
Darkseid's guess was already pretty close. After all, Thanoside's existence couldn't be concealed.
Under what circumstances could a mysterious, single-universe deity so alarm the God of Dreams, who had only recently arrived in the DC Universe, to the point of resorting to such a mad act that offended the New Gods?
It had nothing to do with strength, but rather a matter of judgment.
"You place too much importance on that person, God of Dreams... Besides, even if I don't do anything, my clone will act," Darkseid said coldly.
"What?"
Sandman was startled, and hurriedly gazed across the multiverse, trying to discern what was happening in the real dimension from countless dreams.
"Dark Walker? Such a dangerous god!" Sandman's face changed slightly. Just as he was about to do something, Steppenwolf rushed over.
"You stopped me, now I stop you!" Steppenwolf sneered and swung his axe.
On the side of death, there existed a supreme God of Death.
A drastic end reigned over Apokolips. Every living being was essentially facing death.
If the Anti-Life Equation required the killing of life to achieve anti-life, then Death did not. He was the natural opposite of all life and non-life, his status far surpassing the Anti-Life Equation.
Even Darkseid, who had previously been nonchalant, became serious the moment he saw Death.
Death was powerful, terrifyingly powerful, but the New Gods, including Darkseid, realized they had underestimated Death.
But how long had it been, and Death already controlled all of Apokolips?
"Sister..." Sandman opened his mouth.
Death sighed: "It's still the same. You acted on your own without consulting me and caused such a big commotion. Do you know that when you took action against Apokolips, saying that it was to prevent the outbreak of a disaster that affected the multiverse, you had actually told these New Gods the intelligence you knew?"
At least, Darkseid already knew what was going on. This top god was not often known for his extraordinary intelligence, but this did not mean that he had no intelligence. When necessary, he could also engage in high-intensity thinking and reasoning.
"Death, if you wish to take action against the Dark Walker, I will do it myself, testing the Endless's mettle. Speaking of which, you conceptual gods haven't truly demonstrated your abilities since inhabiting our world. You've merely relied on your own concepts, drawing upon the power of the multiverse to rapidly grow stronger."
Darkseid gazed at Death coldly, "I hope you haven't come to parasite this world, like those aliens parasitizing my clone."
"Darkseid, you dare disrespect my sister..."
"Enough! Shut up! This matter ends here. The Endless have no intention of going to war with your new protoss! Even if a war breaks out, the new protoss on New Genesis will not let you go." Death frowned
slightly, but remained restrained. Neither Destiny nor Him have yet reached their limit, growing stronger, and their growth rate far surpasses that of the Anti-Monitor, who relies on killing to grow.
In fact, even Death himself doesn't know what he will eventually transform into. It seems that even reaching the multiverse level isn't His limit.
Silence has returned to the Apokolips area.
On the New Genesis Planet, which is billions of light-years away from Apokolips, the Father of Heaven slowly put down his Scepter of Origin and breathed a sigh of relief.
Peace is hard-won, and it is a great blessing that a new war has not broken out. Otherwise, who knows how many people would have died.
Sandman was worried and said to Death in an obscure way: "Are we really not going to do anything? I saw a lot of fragmentary information in Duva's consciousness world. It's not fake. Duva must come from a multiverse that is huge enough. Even if it is not as big as this world, it should not be much worse."
"You can help him stop Darkseid this time, how are you going to help him next time? He came to this multiverse with his army, and he must have a purpose. Before that purpose is achieved, you will eventually become a tool he uses if you act again and again." Death sighed helplessly. Sometimes, he truly didn't know how to change Sandman's naiveté. He always wishfully pursued things that had no real purpose.
Sandman was no saint. When it came time to kill, he'd kill with unparalleled ruthlessness. But when he showed up, his kindness could reveal a frustrating naiveté.
All the gods looked out across the multiverse, gazing at the Anti-Monitor and the mysterious Duva.
"A new alien has appeared..."
"Strange, it seems to have a demonic aura, but not quite."
The moment Mephisto appeared, it captured the attention of many. It was yet another unprecedented, top-tier cosmic god.
Darkwalker, the "Black Death," was already renowned throughout the multiverse. The sudden appearance of a top-tier alien with demonic characteristics only drew even more attention.
The battle between Mephisto and Darkwalker erupted.
It was a battle between two single-minded cosmic gods. Two black figures instantly pierced countless layers of space and time, engaging in combat.
Both possessed astonishing agility, appearing and disappearing with incredible precision when they attacked.
"Dark Walker, is he also after the Anti-Life Equation? And this powerful alien, is he one of yours?"
The Anti-Monitor was startled, unaware that the New 52 Darkseid had already taken action and was heading their way.
"Mobius, your refusal to return to your world puts me in a difficult position. It seems I have no choice but to kill you here." Duval shook his head. "
What a joke! You? Even if you completely wear down this Thanoside body, you can't kill me! And I'll only get stronger!"
"Oh? Mobius, you're so excited about fighting evenly with one of my 'clones'? If I were to attack them myself, what would you have to resist?"
Duval watched the Hyperion and other aliens continue to arrive.
Superman, Super Soldier, Doomsday Alien, Doomsday...
These creatures emerged from the sonic tunnel like a tide, each emitting a powerful aura that made the Anti-Monitor's face change.
How could there be so many?!
Two superhumans among these aliens would be fine, but why the hell did two Doomsdays appear?
"It's worth my while! You've worked so hard to develop the Anti-Life Equation to this level." As soon as Duval finished speaking, numerous powerful aliens immediately rushed towards the Anti-Monitor.
The most ferocious were the two Doomsdays. Under the power of the Anti-Life, they evolved at an unprecedented rate, and in a blink of an eye, they had begun to threaten the Anti-Monitor.
If he had faced only one Doomsday, no matter how fast it evolved, the Anti-Monitor would have been confident of utterly destroying it, as he had determined that Doomsday had a limit to its evolution.
But now, the Anti-Monitor was overwhelmed by the sheer number of powerful beings besieging him. In a blink of an eye, he was struck by a series of heavy blows, roaring hysterically, and his body was covered in wounds from the attacks of multiple figures.
Until now, Duval had not even revealed his true form, but calmly watched the Anti-Monitor gradually dying.
With every passing second, the damage to the Anti-Monitor increased, and his power weakened.
"Even gods lose their composure when faced with defeat. This is fundamentally the same as mortals; they are all creatures accustomed to seeking advantage and avoiding harm." Duval's voice reached the Anti-Monitor's mind.
He lashed out in anger, his body erupting in a white anti-life light, only to be met with a resounding punch in the face by a Doomsday. Then, Hyperion, Superman, and Super Soldier swiftly circled behind the Anti-Monitor, hammering at his legs with all their might, forcing the giant to stagger and fall to one knee in exhaustion.
The Doomsday extended its massive arm and grasped the Anti-Monitor's neck. The terrifying force shattered the Anti-Monitor's silver armor. A
terrifying glint shone in the Anti-Monitor's eyes, and he attempted to use the Anti-Life Equation's power to control the several lifeforms that were attacking him. Unfortunately, Duval, fully aware of the Anti-Life Equation's ability to control life, had been wary from the outset and gave him no chance.
Until Dewar manipulated Thanoside to approach the Anti-Monitor and, using the Omega Effect, began extracting the Anti-Life Equation.
"No, no! This is mine, you damned bastard!" The Anti-Monitor struggled desperately, but to no avail. Every time Dewar triggered the Anti-Life Equation, he essentially robbed the Anti-Monitor of his own life.
"Haven't you realized yet? You've become deeply fused with this dangerous formula. When complete fusion finally arrives, will you be the Anti-Monitor, or the living formula? But don't worry, because I'm here to save you—in your own death."
Dewar forcibly extracted a flood of information.
Loneliness + alienation + fear =...
shame * failure * judgment = hope...
A myriad of complex calculations poured into Dewar's hands, demanding immense computing power to decipher the formula's contents.
"It seems I've been succumbed to it without even realizing it." The Anti-Monitor, increasingly lucid, sneered, unable to move. "If even I can't escape the influence of this formula, what makes you think you can?"
"I don't need to, because I never intended to absorb it from the beginning. I have better uses for it than you could just absorb it."
Duval smacked the Anti-Monitor's head and sent him back to the sixth dimension. "Don't stay in the multiverse. This world isn't for you."
At the very least, this guy should stop embroiled in major events and return to being his higher-dimensional form.
Mobius, the Anti-Monitor, was defeated and killed.
It seemed the matter was over, but it wasn't.
Duval glanced at the fierce battle between Darkseid and Mephisto, then returned to studying the Anti-Life Equation.
The New 52 Darkseid had finally arrived.
"It seems I've arrived just in time. Whether it's you or the Anti-Life Equation, they will ultimately belong to me."
New 52 Darkseid stared at Thanoside. He had carefully chosen this crucial moment, ready to unleash the Omega Effect.
Chapter 214: The Zombies Are Out!
New 52 Darkseid, arguably the most powerful incarnation of Darkseid in the multiverse, enslaved the Dark Walker and carefully chose the final moment to launch his attack.
He chose not to personally intervene during the fierce battle between Duval and the Anti-Monitor, but waited until the outcome was decided before vying for the Anti-Life Equation.
"The moment the Anti-Monitor dies, the Anti-Life Equation will no longer belong to you, the so-called victor. It will be mine."
New 52 Darkseid glanced at the Anti-Monitor's corpse, rapidly dissolving in the Anti-Life energy field, with a disdainful smile. He then fixed his gaze on the Anti-Life Equation being extracted by Duval, revealing a deep desire.
He, or rather, countless versions of him, have pursued this formula for far too long, so long that he can no longer restrain himself.
"In this world, there are illusory destinies, but between you and me, there is no predetermined fate. What falls into my hands is mine, and has nothing to do with you." Duval kicked the Anti-Monitor away.
This casual act made everyone who witnessed it blink wildly. The
Anti-Monitor was, after all, an extremely ancient being, with the possibility of resurrection in the future. Would this alien god humiliate him like this?
"Either you know nothing, or you know everything and are still confident of stopping it."
Darkseid glanced at the Anti-Monitor's corpse.
In theory, the Anti-Monitor's status seemed to have always been higher than his. Moreover, his original body had been exploring the secrets of the Origin Wall for many years and had made some vague discoveries.
But unfortunately, no matter how powerful, once entering the multiverse, it will always be affected by the changes triggered by various events, and its strength will be repeatedly weakened.
But the New 52 Darkseid clearly did not care about the Anti-Monitor. He madly increased his power, unleashing the Omega Effect with unprecedented violence.
"Trying to use the Omega Effect to trigger the Anti-Life Equation?" Duval shook his head slowly. He had long known that the New 52 Darkseid would use this tactic and had naturally prepared for it.
At this moment, the Thanosider he was controlling also began to activate the Omega Effect.
The two gods simultaneously used the power of the Omega Effect to compete for the Anti-Life Equation.
As two vaguely connected superpowers, the Anti-Life Equation was indeed attracted by the Omega Effect, erupting with strange fluctuations. However, the two Omega Effects created a stalemate.
"This is truly a wonderful tug-of-war. Whoever gets the equation will instantly possess the power to kill the opponent... Thanks to the Anti-Monitor, he has deduced the equation to a fairly good level." The New 52 Darkseid was in high spirits, his smile even becoming more twisted.
Clearly, this Darkseid was extremely confident. Even knowing that Duval wielded many terrifying powers, he was still confident of defeating him.
Darkseid, despite his injuries, forced Mephisto's alien back and broke into a sprint, appearing at Darkseid's side in an instant, like a loyal guard.
"This is a secret I've kept hidden for a long time. The infamous Black Death has become my servant, and I only released him when the battle for the Anti-Life Equation came. If you hadn't appeared, he would have become the dagger that killed the Anti-Monitor. Even gods wouldn't be able to escape his prey."
Darkseid looked a little regretful. Without Duval, he was convinced he wouldn't have to take this next step, and could have possessed the Anti-Life Equation for himself, gradually fusing it with the Omega Effect to create a new power.
Unfortunately, there are no ifs in this world, and fate doesn't dictate to them like a nanny.
Swish!
Several figures sieged Darkseid, just as they had sieged the Anti-Monitor.
Duval's voice rang out, "I'm different from you. Gods like you excel at channeling all power into themselves, but I'm different. The more subordinates I have, the greater their potential, and the stronger I become. The Anti-Monitor, like a pig, was patiently raised by me until he reached a suitable size before being slaughtered. You will be no exception. If you have any means, use them immediately, or you'll have no chance."
The Dark Walker immediately defended Darkseid from the powerful enemy, but unfortunately, he faced too many aliens and was completely unable to withstand such a powerful horde.
Even Darkseid himself erupted with a torrent of divine power, shaking the universe. Omega rays from his eyes surged, enveloping the surrounding spacetime and striking one alien after another. However, at the same time, he himself was under even greater attack.
Looking around, figures radiating immense divine power attacked him, as if opposing the entire universe.
But Darkseid remained unfazed, attempting to leverage his mastery of the Omega Effect to seize the Anti-Life Equation. In the process, his understanding of the equation rapidly deepened, acquiring vast quantities of knowledge moment by moment.
As time passed, his injuries grew more severe, yet his state became noticeably more agitated.
Roars shattered the starry sky, countless beams of divine light pierced the universe, stirring the blood energy of the outer universes into a frenzied influx of Earth-3.
Countless figures engaged in hundreds of thousands of clashes in an instant, shattering the laws of nature, disrupting the cosmic framework, and distorting cosmic constants and parameters, plunging the once stable world into utter chaos and disorder, akin to the apocalypse.
The entire Universe-3 was inexorably hurtling towards destruction, yet no god would intervene.
A clash of this magnitude could be stopped only by the personal intervention of a multiverse-level god. The only option was to sacrifice an entire universe while the warring gods of both sides decided the outcome.
Bang!
Darkseid blasted two Doomsdays away with his Omega Beam. He grabbed Superman's cape and flung him away. At the same time, he grabbed the Super Soldier's head and lifted him up.
"Are you also a Superman? Like the one who calls himself Thanosed, you're a Superman mixed with something alien. It seems you share the same universe." Darkseid's divine words penetrated the Super Soldier's mind.
The Super Soldier roared, his eyes blazing red. He attempted to blast Darkseid's head with heat vision, but Darkseid's fingers immediately clamped down on his eyes, muffling all the heat vision onto his own head.
Darkseid opened his hand, looked at the Super Soldier, whose consciousness briefly blurred, and with a sneer, tore him in half, letting the corrosive blood, capable of corroding even the most powerful god, sizzle and drench him. "This blood has become a high-level weapon capable of harming gods. It's truly remarkable, but it's a shame you're about to die along with all your pets... I gave you a moment, but you didn't seize it, allowing me to successfully decipher a portion of the Anti-Life Equation!"
Darkseid burst into laughter. He had survived the most difficult phase, the one where he would inevitably be assaulted like the Anti-Monitor if he showed up!
Now, having endured this brief and difficult period, victory was his!
Boom!
Several figures struck Darkseid, causing him to stagger, aggravating his injuries and shaking his layers of divine power. But Darkseid no longer cared. He suddenly turned his head and looked at the Dark Walker, whose limbs were missing from the beatings of Mephisto's alien form.
"What a terrifying creature! You're clearly the most powerful deity in the universe, yet you unconditionally submit to your rule. I've never seen anything like you... A completely new conceptual deity? A conceptual deity based on a physical entity? In some ways, as an outsider, you're far more unique than those of the Infinity Clan, both in your form and your origins."
Darkseid eagerly seized the Dark Walker, his hand piercing through his shattered body and extracting a clump of fragmented genes.
That's right, not some concentrated energy, but a core gene brimming with the power of the Death God, a unique characteristic of the Dark Walker.
The god's actions were incredibly swift. In a split second, Darkseid extracted the Death God gene from the Dark Walker and merged it with his own Omega Effect and the portion of the Anti-Life Equation that was being held in check by it.
He subconsciously glanced at Duval, but was unnerved to find that Duval, who had taken over Thanoside's body, was being far too quiet.
"This guy... is waiting for me? No, how could he know what I'm going to do? Absolutely impossible."
A confident Darkseid sneered, quickly moving forward with his plan. Using the Omega Effect as a medium, he would fuse the Reaper gene with the Anti-Life Equation to create a brand new weapon.
Duval suddenly said, "Yes, combining two forces that are both in some sense anti-life is indeed a brilliant idea, Darkseid. I'm very pleased with your performance."
At that moment, the aliens all stopped attacking Darkseid, like a group of high-speed machines, suddenly stopped.
Well, except for Mephisto, who was still frantically beating the Dark Walker, who had lost the Reaper gene, and was crushing him.
After all, Darkseid had drained the Dark Walker's most core genes.
Darkseid's face darkened. "Did you do this on purpose? You're a mad, conceited god, even more arrogant than I am! You'll soon die at my hands, no matter how special a conceptual god you are!"
"Come on, Darkseid, we both know you won't kill me until you get what you want."
The coordinates of the Marvel Multiverse and how to get there were revealed. Darkseid
longed for this. No, rather, the ancient gods, imprisoned for countless eons within the walled world, with the exception of the Anti-Monitor trio, were desperately seeking to escape this damned prison, searching for a way to scale the Origin Wall. The countless gods trapped
within the Origin Wall were testament to this: they were ancient beings who had sought to unlock the wall's secrets, but had failed, leaving them with a fate worse than death.
Darkseid was the second person, after Sandman, to clearly understand Duval's origins as a vast otherworld. Although Darkseid doubted Duval's native multiverse could rival the world within this wall, it was likely a larger multiverse—a supercharged version of smaller multiverses like the DCEU, Arrow, and Animated Multiverses.
Even so, this was enough to entice Darkseid. A new world, new possibilities, was enough to drive Darkseid on a wild adventure.
"Other new concepts are either projections of their native worlds without a complete understanding of them, mirrored by this larger world, or like the Infinite Family, bringing their entire native worlds with them... You know very well that I'm not one of those two types."
Duval's voice reached Darkseid through the godhead within Thanoside.
"That's right, you have the concept of the native world. You were not born or joined, but smuggled in by unknown means!" Darkseid grinned, "Thanoside, and the strange Superman I just killed, are all mixed with strange things. I guess there is an intermediate world in this world, a universe reflected and fused by this multiverse and your multiverse!"
"That's right, you know this best. Half of Thanoside... no, it should be three-quarters now. Your clone."
Duval nodded in appreciation, as if he saw the play he directed progressing smoothly, and was extremely relieved: "Come on, if you want to know my secrets, want to get the coordinates of another multiverse, like Thanoside, have the opportunity to travel between two multiverses of equal size, explore endless mysteries, and exhaust the truth of the world... Bring out your research results, I have been looking forward to it for a long time."
"You lunatic! I doubt you've even been to Earth-Origin to observe my movements." Darkseid's face darkened. The joy of creating a brand new weapon, the fervor of gaining the coordinates of another multiverse, vanished in an instant.
"Not really. I don't yet have the ability to reach that place, but let's imagine. Perhaps fate has shown me our destiny in advance?"
"Hmph, I hope you can hold out long enough. Even if you're a Concept God, no matter how many conceptual clones you have, they're useless against me! It's too late!"
Darkseid suddenly detonated his creation. This vicious monster, created from the Anti-Life Equation and the Death God Gene, now became his most powerful weapon, about to be unleashed upon Duval.
He firmly believed that this was a terrible curse that even Concept Gods could not escape, the ultimate nemesis of all things in the world!
"This weapon of mine can infect all forms of existence, whether it's energy, concepts, rules, or anything else. Why not call it Anti-Life..."
Darkseid was interrupted by Duval before he could finish: "Zombie Virus, let's call this thing Zombie Virus."
