At noon, little Wang Wenzhang lined up and walked to the daycare entrance. Upon seeing his mother waiting, he joyfully shouted, "Mom, Mom!"
He excitedly told the child next to him, "My mom is back!"
Ling Chengyan noticed a difference — in front of little Wang Wenzhang was a pretty little girl with a round face and eyes, wearing a lovely white dress. The girl turned back proactively to talk to Wang Wenzhang, but he didn't seem interested in responding. He nodded perfunctorily and excitedly turned to talk to the boy behind him, leaving the little girl feeling quite lonely.
The children walked out of the gate, each finding their own parent. Little Wang Wenzhang dashed up like a tiny missile, grabbing Ling Chengyan's hand, looking up, "Mom, when did you come back? Did you see sister? Did you see dad? Did you see aunt?"
Ling Chengyan raised her hand to ruffle her son's slightly long hair and smiled, "Not yet, I came to pick you up right after work."
