"What's your name?"
Laura Oakes's hostile gaze shot at Ruby Mercer. As a woman, Ruby could certainly feel it. But she just smiled lightly.
"Doesn't this young lady know that before asking someone their name, one should state their own?"
The implication being, you're supposed to be a refined lady, yet you don't even know this basic courtesy. How do you call yourself a socialite?
Laura Oakes didn't mind and said proudly, "I'm Laura Oakes, daughter of Jonathan Oakes from Oakes Corporation."
Ruby had a sudden realization, but she still didn't know! No impression! Unfamiliar!
