Bai, with his features that shows that he is still a kid was sitting alone on a far spot. While chewing on some jerky, he might look like he mumbled alone on the other eyes but actually...
"Bai, this jerky isn't that tasty... "

"The drinks are not even taste anything. "
"That's because it's a normal drinking water."
"I want a more satisfying drink than this... "
"Bear with it... "

Bai and Rei were having their own conversation a little bit far from the mercenaries group camp. Then, a young man with a large body greeted him.

The young man went silent then he went away. Bai sighed a relief as the young man didn't interrupt him more but then...

Bai calmly assesses the situation where the young man approaches him and offers him some food.

Bai then took the food and the young man sat beside him. Bai only stares at him and continues eating quietly.
The young man then opened his bread and ate as well. While the silence continues engulfing the two, the young man opens his mouth.

"...Never heard that kind of name before. The name's Azule"

"Sometimes humans live alone but that doesn't mean it is right. Sometimes humans require comfort but that doesn't mean it is necessary. Sometimes humans overthink but that doesn't mean it is wrong. Everyone has their own worries and you too have your own worries.

Bai silently listens to Azule while pondering on the meaning of his word. Azule then continued.
"Seeing that you are still a child but applying as a mercenary makes me wonder... "

Bai, silently eating while listening to Azule's word. Azule seeing that Bai had given him no reaction understood that this child had a secret.
Azule then continues talking about his past, his life and more story-telling toward the young and naive Bai throughout the whole night...

The next morning, every person alive in Truncheon Plateau were nervous. Two armies, with different nationalities stood against each other. Weapons held in every soldiers hand were trembling.
One person walked to the front with his horse while another do the same. The sun was nearing the peak and both of the people rode their horses and calmly watched each other.
Both had become the general and the leader of each armies and one of them raised their sword. Up and high so that everyone can see it.
He prepares his lung and immediately...
"ATTACK!!! "
The other general then raised his hand and dashed forward while starting the war command.
"CHARGE!!! "
Thus, both armies had started to clash. Guns loud sound, sword clashing and even catapult sound were disastrous for everyone.
The blood smell conquering everyone's nose but it doesn't matter to them as they need to kill or to be killed.
Bai went forward and slashed at every enemy near him. He kicked one of them in the chest and pierce on another. He then pierce the enemy he kicked before.
While doing this, he scanned around and saw the horrendous state of war. Body piling, the pungent smell of blood. It was a horrifying scene for a kid like him.
"Bai, look out! Behind you!"
Bai, heeding the alert from Rei quickly ducked and kicked the enemy appearing and killed him. He then took a breath for a while.
"Who's idea is it that said war is a good place to train?"
"It's your own idea, stupid"
"You don't need to call me that... I know that but it seems like I'm too naive."
"That's why I said joining war is a bad idea. Even if it's for training."
"..."
He dashed toward his own enemy while pondering upon his choices...

"Azule! Your left! "
Azule attacked the enemy that started to encircle them while the nearby soldiers came help him.
The soldiers nearby repel the enemies and they started to feel tired. After all it's been a few hours after the war had already began.
Azule continued to ran forward while killing enemies to find the general first as he thought that something weird were in the air.
"Hey! Where's the general! "
"The general is there, I think... "
"Tch"
What he saw there was the general surrounded by multiple enemies. It had became a war of attrition for him. Azule ran as fast as possible toward the general to help him but then he saw an arrow flied fast toward the general.
All he can do was reach his hand out and...
