"I'll do my best to support you however I can," Ferdinand promised.
"I'm sure you will," Arabella kissed him on the cheek, believing in his promise.
She believed in him this much.
It felt so good that Ferdinand kissed her on the cheek, too, before going for her lips.
"Then, shall we begin practicing making babies? Your thing has been poking me since earlier," Arabella pointed out teasingly.
"That thing has a mind of its own!" Ferdinand facepalmed.
He thought it had calmed down while they were talking about other things, but it came alive again before he knew it, and had apparently been poking at Arabella's thighs, since who knows when.
It was annoying and exasperating at times because it kept acting out against his will and repeatedly defied and embarrassed him in front of Arabella.
Sometimes, they couldn't talk about wholesome things without this thing acting out at the slightest bit of contact with her.
