Chapter 94: Awaken Sharingan
4 June – Konoha Year 46
Even though the spies had already delivered the warning to Konoha, war did not ignite instantly. It needed time because those people need to gather resources first before starting a war.
But even with that, it would take several weeks, perhaps a full month before the conflict matured into an official war. For now resources still being gathered, and military assets being quietly repositioned.
This war is even bigger than the canon series war, thanks to Fire Daimyo who silently spent his own money to empowered the enemy. He had spent an enormous amount of his private treasury to buy them meat, horse, camel, iron and thanks to that the other people use that thing to enrich their village.
Fire Daimyo rengoku had only one goal, when the war finally erupted, he wanted Konoha especially the Uzumaki Clan to die. You can skip as many people you encounter but you need to kill Uzumaki Shinobi as much as you can.
If the Uzumaki Clan lost a lot of their Shinobi, their political influence would drop. Their marriage relationship with the Uchiha would weaken. Their growing technological dominance could be halted and the village itself would become more dependent on the Daimyo funding again.
Every coin spent was a long-term investment in weakening a clan he secretly feared.
But inside the Uzumaki residence, life moved differently.
Raiken had gathered every Uzumaki shinobi into the hall. The air was thick with anticipation and worry. Each clan member stood straight, waiting for their leader to speak. The Uzumaki had always been mentally strong, but Raiken leadership had turned them into something more disciplined.
Raiken stepped forward.
"Everyone, listen carefully," he announced. "The spy reports are true. Our enemies have begun gathering resources. In one to four weeks, we will face war."
Every Uzumaki Shinobi become worried upon hearing this, just last year they escaped from Uzushiogakure and now another war would happen again.
Yet almost immediately.
"Clan leader, we are ready."
"We will protect our people!"
"We have trained every day for this!"
Several voices rose in unison supporting Raiken.
Raiken allowed himself a small smile, though his heart remained tense. He scanned the room slowly, thanks to the daily training regime he implemented, the Uzumaki now had 76 full-fledged shinobi capable of combat.
Not only had their numbers increased, but their overall strength had risen drastically.
All thanks to the invention that altered them, the nerve-gear sealing device. Raiken developed a training simulation, they need to fight a war in jungle, on sea and even in the desert sand.
Raiken took a breath. "You all know how far we've come. What you've become is not luck, but the result of your training in the simulation chamber. Every battle you fought inside that world was real for your body. Your muscles remembered every movement. Your reflexes sharpened. You learned to face fear, uncertainty, and even pain."
He paused.
"Inside the machine, you experienced more battles in a week than most shinobi see in a year."
A murmur of agreement filled the hall. Several shinobi clenched their fists proudly.
One of the older Uzumaki, Haruto, stepped forward voicing out his opinion.
"Clan leader, before this device existed, our younglings barely understood real combat. Some had talent, some had none. But now even the weakest among us can hold their ground."
Another shinobi added, "We've repeated the same scenario hundreds of times. Ambushes, infiltration, duels with enemy swordsmen, taijutsu specialists, Water-style users… We are ready, Raiken-sama."
Raiken nodded, satisfied with them who are so loyal with Uzumaki Clan.

10 May - Konoha Year 46.

"This version no longer uses genjutsu," Raiken explained. "It uses electric nerve transmission and chakra frequency synchronization, that means Uchiha can use this device."
"Really Raiken?" asked Hikaku.
"Yes," replied Raiken, then he looked at the guard standing beside Hikaku. "Any Volunteer?"
One of the Uchiha guard, Uchiha Renji, a 17-year-old stepped forward.
"You are very brave, by the way do you have sharingan?" asked Raiken.
Renji activated his 1 tomoe sharingan.
"Good, that means we can know either this would be effective on Sharingan user or not. Please lie down here and please wear this helmet," said Raiken.
The other Uchiha watched Raiken and Renji with interest, after everyting is ready Raiken then told the others.
"It would take 1 hour for the test to complete," said Raiken. "Are you ready?"
"Yes I am ready Raiken sama," replied Renji.
"Good," said Raiken before he activating the device.
The nerve gear helmet glowed with a blue colour and Renji has entered the world of VR.
"Can we see what happen to him?" asked Uchiha Yashiro.
"No, but let's wait for him it is just one hour," replied Raiken.
They can only nodded while waiting for Renji testing the Machines.
One hour later, Renji woken up while feeling surprised.
"Where.."
"What..."
Renji still feeling he is inside Vr World.
"Welcome back Renji," said Raiken.
"Renji what do you feel?" asked Yashiro.
"I.... I thought it was real," said Renji when his body and mind finally manage to differentiate between both world. "The moment I first entered the simulation, I felt it was very real and the pain I received there."
Raiken touched his stomach indicating he got stabbed there.
"I try to dispell genjutsu but I still in that world," continued Renji. "The pain I received there is hurting me and not just that, I also feel chakra exhaustion there."
"It looks like it is a success," Raiken smiled. "Can you activate your sharingan?"
Renji nodded then closed his eyes before opening it and his one tomoe Sharingan become two tomoe.
This surprised not Just Hikaku, Yashiro even Fugaku and the other Uchiha become surprised.
"Renji your eyes," said Fugaku.
"My eyes?" replied Renji then he noticed his eyes feel slightly different.
"Congratulations, you awaken two tomoe Sharingan," said Raiken with a smile.
When he said this, everyone looked at Raiken.
"Does this mean, this device can awaken Sharingan?" asked Yashiro.
"We need more volunteer to know either they can awaken Sharingan or not," said Raiken.
"Bring, more people here," ordered Yashiro.
After they saw Renji manage to awaken Sharingan, Raiken status inside Uchiha Clan increased drastically and it is even on par with their Clan Leader Uchiha Hikaku.
