“Yes,” I replied confidently.
Before she could respond, I pulled her into my arms and pressed my lips to hers. I leaned hard into the kiss, wanting her to feel the importance of the moment. Despite the storm cloud hovering over our heads amidst our fighting, we had just told each other we loved one another. It was a big moment.
I had known that I loved her, but I hadn’t been expecting her to feel the same. In that moment, I had wanted to forget everything negative between us. I only wanted to melt into her and feel her next to me.
Unexpectedly, the kiss had grown with passion. Our tongues slipped in and out of each other’s mouths. However, before anything else could grow, Bianca pulled back slightly.
“It’s late, Leo,” she whispered. “I’m tired and I’m kind of sore still from the other night. I just want to be able to enjoy it without feeling sore, you know?”
