A reception hall was beginning to fill with guests as the day gradually turned into night.
People were dressed in their best clothes and arrived in nice cars.
Some were rented. Some were owned. But no one could figure out which was which, and allowed their personal biases to dictate which was more likely.
At the front desk, alumni checked in and received a nametag.
Once their nametag was given, they were allowed inside the reception hall, where they were provided drinksat an open bar and expected to mingle among the crowd.
Or, in Abaddon's case, one could go grab drinks and then immediately sit back down.
Though this would attract the disgruntled gazes of his wives.
*Sip.*
Ayaana and Zahara's stares intensify.
Abaddon slowly put his glass down. "...What?"
"Let's get up and mingle." Zahara demanded.
Ayaana took away her husband's glass. "We can't show off our trophy husband if all you do is sit here and drink."
