Inside the Narwhal's cabin, Deep tiptoed behind Lily as they crept toward the Captain's Room.
"What do you think Mr. Charles is really doing in there? Why hasn't he come out of his room since we boarded?" Lily whispered.
"You're the one who's closest to the Captain—if you don't know, how would I?" Deep replied, irritated.
"He won't even let me sleep with him these days, so how would I know? Stop talking—Mr. Charles has very sharp ears. If we keep it up, he'll hear us."
As they spoke, they'd already neared the Captain's Room. Hearing some noise from inside, the two pressed their ears to the door, listening to the muffled voices coming from within.
"Why are you so damn… impulsive! From now on, the body… you have to follow my… instructions."
"Says who! Just because… you take charge every time, you think you're… the boss now?"
"That's not… it at all! Can't you try thinking… before you act?!"
