Staring at the tentacles on the cave wall, Charles hesitated for a moment before reaching out to touch them.
WHOOSH! The tentacle instantly sprang to life, shooting out from the wall and dragging Charles toward it in a death grip.
"Help! Quick!!" Charles screamed, but his companions in the distance seemed oblivious, still laughing and joking as they divvied up their equipment.
Charles struggled desperately but couldn't break free. It wasn't long before most of his body had been dragged into the cavern.
BANG! Charles ripped off the VR headset and hurled it against the opposite wall.
Trembling all over, he stared, shaken, at the headset lying in pieces on the floor.
Just then, his body gave a violent jolt. The drawing of the tentacle on the wall twitched.
"No, something's not right. I don't like this, just disappear!" Charles squeezed his eyes shut, clutching his head in pain.
When he opened them again, he was back in his cozy bedroom.
