Charles lowered his head and gazed at the ants on the ground, watching intently as they crawled in and out of their holes. "Are we humans doomed to be just ants before them?"
"No! Of course not! Our great Light God is different. He is a mighty existence. He is merciful—"
"Enough!" Charles cut the Pope off, stopping his sermon. A look of irritation appeared on his face. "If you can't find a way, then just say so. Why go on about all this nonsense?"
"No, of course there is a way. You just need to find the exit to the surface, and the problem will be solved. I told you before, as long as the surface exit is found, the all-powerful Light God can break free. Once He escapes His predicament, helping you remove Yidick's gaze would be an effortless task for Him."
A hint of disdain flashed across Charles's face. So after all that, it still boils down to him urging me to set out as soon as possible. He turned and strode toward the edge of the banana plantation without looking back.
