The atmosphere inside the cell was somber. Standing at the back of the crowd, Alya looked anxiously at the locked-up Deep.
"Captain, this wasn't an idea thought up by just one of us. It was something the three of us came up with together. If you want to blame someone, then blame all three of us," Deep's voice sounded very calm.
Charles looked at his sailor chief with a grave expression. "I know that if the real Deep wanted to do something like this, he'd definitely tell me. So the ones who came up with this idea must be one of the other two personalities, right?"
After saying this, he turned to Finn Gant behind him. "Sorry to trouble you."
The white-bearded Finn smiled and nodded. "Don't worry. I've handled this situation once before; it'll be much faster the second time."
As he spoke, the apprentice standing behind him opened the giant leather case he was carrying, revealing various sets of glassware inside. The old Mage was planning to concoct the Potion right on the spot.
