Audric shook his head, his expression grave. "No, Captain. If that woman really can alter memories, then all of your memories might have been planted in your head by her. They could all be fake."
Just as Charles was about to say something else, Lily jumped in to retort. "Nope! This monster lady showed up ages ago. She came looking for Mr. Charles three years back, you guys just didn't know about it."
"Lily, why didn't you tell us something this important!" Minister of Finance Krona lifted her from the floor and shook her relentlessly.
"Why are you yelling so loud? You're getting your stinky spit all over my fur!" Lily struggled as she spoke, trying to break free from Krona's grasp. "You never asked, so why should I tell you? Besides, she only visits every once in a long while."
