Charles's mouth twitched slightly. To be honest, any man would think that way, even if it was completely unrealistic.
Anna forcefully shoved Charles aside, her voice laced with jealousy as she descended the stairs. "If I found another man, maybe you'd finally understand how I feel right now."
"Anna." Charles reached out and grabbed her wrist.
"Actually, there's a reason for all this. The first time I met Elizabeth, I honestly thought you were dead. Who knew you were still alive, and that things would end up like this."
Anna suddenly spun around, storming toward Charles with such ferocity that he kept backing away. "Oh! So you're saying it's my fault?"
Seeing Charles at a loss for words, Anna turned and walked toward the stairwell. "Forget it. I'm not going to bother with a man who keeps a harem."
"Hey, where are you going? There are places on this island you shouldn't wander off to."
