The room fell into a cold silence again. Linda was the next to speak. "When will your eyes heal?"
"Soon. I've absorbed enough Essence Blood. The damage from the sunlight is already half-healed."
"Is it a matter of money? I still have a street I can sell."
Audric shook his head. "Echo Coins were somewhat useful before. You could use them to buy Blood Slaves from pirates or enjoy a refined life on the human islands."
"But once you reach the rank of Earl or higher, the need for money among most of the Blood Clan plummets. It's unrealistic to think you can trade Echo Coins for their Essence Blood."
"I heard the prison has collected a lot of relics. If they have a particularly powerful one, perhaps we could trade with them."
Linda nodded without hesitation. "Alright, I'll take you for a look tomorrow."
Audric floated down silently, extending his hands with their sharp nails and gently embracing Linda.
